- The students of the Chicago School of Rock performing "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd at their "Allman Brothers vs Lynyrd Skynyrd" show at Chop Shop/1st Ward in Chicago, IL.
The girl playing slide really nailed it. What talented kids! That lead guitar nailed it too!
Leah Stevenson and Tyler Thenstedt on the same stage together!! Be still my heart!!!

Wow wow what amazing performance
A great effort, better than most bar bands manage. It's a well-rounded performance by all band members, but I would like to give special mentions to the girl on the Strat, the guy in the check shirt on the LP, and the drummer, all of whom gave top-notch performances.
The tall girl playing slide on the Strat is Tyler Thenstedt, an AllStar, one of the best in the program - as is the singer, Leah Stevenson. The other guitarist is Alexander Juarez, and with this program he showed that he'll reach AllStar level. That's his sister Grethel on bass, and brother Axel on drums.
Axel’s drums need work.

@@ronaldrockwell8549 no, they only used Strat copies. No original Strats. The Stratdesign didn't change. For the original Sound of Freebird you have to use a Gibson LP for the slidesound, an another LP for the rhythm in the first Part and a Gibson Firebird for the Solo. Ok, with our band we're playing this song too, but I'm using my Standard Strat for the complete song, 'cause I don't like a Gibson LP. To heavy, uncomfortable to play, only a threeway Switch. All in all, not my favorite guitar

That's Tyler Thenstedt who is not only an incredible guitarist, she is an amazing singer. Search for her cover of David Bowie's _Heroes_ and prepare to be blown away.
That Lead Guitarist was SPOT ON!!! Man he Killed it NOTE FOR NOTE! The Slide Guitar was ON THE MONEY as well! I shouldn't say this but here goes................
The Song could have done WITHOUT the Timbales, it was a

The drummer the bassist and guitarist are brothers and sister, Alex, Axel and Grethel Juarez. The slide guitar player is Tyler Thenstedt, multi-time School of Rock AllStar, one of the best musicians from more than 200 locations.

Check out the lead singer on some other videos like when they did Never Been Any Reason or 25 to 6 and 4. Incredible talent! This just wasn’t the right song for her but A for effort.

Among the most technically difficult pieces to perform ever written, Free Bird, along with LZ's Stairway to Heaven and Queen BR, offers, perhaps, the most challenging individual instrumentals... and, this bunch absolutely nailed it. KDM

In my opinion, there should not have been any timbales and Latin bells during the slow portion. Shaker during the slow portion, hen then some timbales in the fast portion. Percussionist needs to learn how to musically stay out of the way of others.

Normally I really enjoy your productions but this one... well the mixing kinda sucks and I suspect it's because the vocalist really isn't very good.
She wasn't very confident as a vocalist yet, being mostly a guitarist.

I love it when they make the song their own. Something they can give a classic song new life.
He can do fast and complex, but needs to spend time on subtlety and working in a group - all things the School will teach him.
