This is a cover of one of my favorite songs "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Filmed and edited by me, audio edited on Cubase 7 by me.

Well Jimmeh I could not believe it when I saw my own face being shared on facebook via one of my all time favorite bands. Pure excitement :-)
Next step is to get ahold of them and play with the band some time. I know you can. You already have their attention.

For some reason i always figured you needed 2 drum players for the solo fast part, shows how much i know. You absolutely killed it.
You’ll need 2 guitar players unless the guy is a shredder. Def not two drummers.
You never need 2 drummers in music
they needed 2 drummers because theres a part where they hit the snare using 2 hands while hitting the cymbals
although, having two drummers can be done and has been done. I don't recall Skynyrd ever having two drummers on stage live, however a similar band with members who once played in and with skynyrd, the outlaws, have had two drummers on stage before. There is an extra drummer to help keep time and produce a bigger sound i would assume, in some of their old performances of "Green Grass and High Tides". Similar band and they're excellent.

Actually, that was Bob Burns drumming on this song. Bob was the original drummer. Artimus replaced Bob.

What hints would you have for the really fast part at around 7:25? Great drumming man!
It's all in the right hand! (If you're right handed). Notice my left hand is barely moving whereas my right hand is doing most of the work putting in the little accents. Other than that just practice :-) Thanks for watching Alex!

This song brings back so many memories growing up with my Dad. He would always blast this when it came on the radio. It's also one of my favorite songs and I'm gonna attempt to learn it and play it as well as you have! You killed this cover my dude!

Just seeing this video, but let me tell you, as a drummer myself (I’m sure you here that all the time as I do lol) I personally don’t like when someone plays a song and adds a lot of extra beats to different parts of song. That being said, what I do like is someone who plays a difficult song (which this absolutely is) and plays it note for note as you did! Phenomenal job! If I were trying out for the same band an/or gig as you, I’d probably not even show up! Lol
Bob Burns would love this, OK so your next step is to pack your bags, jump on a plane, fly to Australia, marry my 16 year old daughter (not straight away though) if all those album covers on the back wall are your's we'll get on like a house on fire lol, you'll just need to teach my daughter what real music is though, legal drinking age here is 18, I'll have a beer waiting :)

I know this video is older, but hope you see this. First, phenomenal drumming! Although the song pics up, some probably don’t understand how difficult playing slower and keeping perfect time is! I began playing years ago and used AC/DC for that exact reason! Second, I’ve been going back and forth for over a year trying to decide on recording equipment. Yours sounds amazing! Would you share what mics, mixer, etc. you use or used for this video?
