I'm an old Led Zep fan from back in the day so I suppose my opinion doesn't count. But here it is anyway. This group gets 10 out of 10 from me for having the cojones to stand up and play this old masterpiece . And play it well.

What a great rendition. The lead guitar player on acoustic and the flute just gel together great. I don't know what type of guitar the acoustic players playing but it sounded really good has a great tone.! And the flute player sounded very seasoned. The lead singer did a really good job. Overall I enjoyed this very much. And it's the first time I've ever seen the rhythm and lead electric guitar played on a telecaster. Sounded good.

This cover just brought a lifelong Led Zep fan to tears! So beautiful! School of Rock gives me hope that my generations' music will live on forever! Every member was on spot and totally got this immortal classic!!!

im 62 yrs old and a retired attorney and a hobbyist guitarist. i haven't read all of the comments but im sure there are some critical .ones. well those people can go jump in in the lake ! im a tough critic in and out of the courthouse. But im also merciful, im grading on the curve, Considering that you are 14-17 years old and you're covering an iconic difficult song im just blown away by your performance! sure it was not perfect but neither are seasoned adult tribute bands. i thought you were wonderful and excellent and you shouuld be very proud the hard work dedication and your talent really showed bravo and kudos to all of you 😎🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸😎
I'm also 62, and not even an amateur musician. But watching these young people play music keeps me youthful. Look through the rest of my channel, and search for videos labeled AllStars where you'll see the very best from more than 300 locations, and you'll see some truly astonishing players - including some young guitar players who I consistently rank as the best I've ever seen in more than 50 years of concert going.
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 im very familiar with SOR videos ;especially those of Midwest videos im almost always impessed by the SOR teens. Is there something in the Illinois water or air in the Chicago suburbs that leads to the growing of phenomenal young rock musicians? Lol. P.S. It's never too late to learn how to play a musical instrument. I didn't start until 32 because my family and I didn't have the money for it. Then at 33 i was diagnosed with RR-MS.i didn't play or take lessons for another 10 years. But things eventually got better and when I'm in. MS remission i pick up my guitar and play as if my life depends on it. Music is the food for my oftentimes battered soul.....😎🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸

Great try on this song. Either the acoustics, video, audio mixing or whatever drowned out the singers voices on the final video. The performers did very well here. I'm a child of LZ. I sang this in my HS band in the 70's. Overall great job to these kids. So glad that an environment exists that we didn't have way back then.

have we seen jack kelsey in any other of your productions, i can't remember any, would have, considering how good he sings this one, one of the better guys i have heard, top 5.
I'll find some more. The main thing about this show is that it was directed by Jennifer Malone, Oak Park's Music Director - and she also directs AllStar Teams, like the 2018 Team 5 that played in front of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. She gets great things out of these kids, and her great strength is in vocals.
If you go to search above and put in a kids name it will come up with other songs they are in. Jack comes back a year later but taller and his voice changed. Singing not so good but he is quite the guitar player.

I'm not sure. This kid has an amazing ability to channel different singers. He totally ruled with Jim Morrison.
Original vintage ludwig drums were hi-quality wood/hardware excursions. Bonham knew this, like no tomowrow. Tone is living proof. Bass drums hold thunder, not sand box play ground pine replica after markets.
Good job. Jack could use some breathing practice for the last section, though.
