    My favorite place in Bristol is the Museum/ Birth Place of Country Music. It is amazing! We are where it happened in 1927. The quality of the exhibition, films, studio, artefacts, etc… is staggering. Moving. Great welcome.

    I have lived in six cities in Va. and Md. and Abingdon is by far the best place to live with the nicest people and more things to do.

    I’ve come to like Bristol the most of the Tri Cities

    What area in NE TN has the best mountain views &/or hiking access? And does Bristol have the same MTN views as Kingsport?

      You get views of the Appalachians from Bristol, Johnson City, Elizabethton and Bluff City. You can also seem them as you travel down Interstate 81 going towards Greeneville, but some of those views could be more distant. Kingsport offers views but tthey will be of somewhat smaller "mountains/knobs". You can get access to hikin pretty quickly in any of the towns.

    Can I buy a 2 to 3 acre lot and build 3 homes on it? One for me and one for each of my sons. Thank you for your response. Carolyn

      It is possible. It would depend on the property's zoning, but that's doable. You'd almost certainly need to subdivide the lots (one per house) but in general terms it can be done.

    Are there ever any apartments for sale in downtown bristol?

    • @TNVAHomeTeam

      Not too often. There just isn't much residential in the actual downtown area, but in the surrounding blocks you can find something at times.

    Where are the hospitals located at ?

    • @TNVAHomeTeam
      @TNVAHomeTeam  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's one in Bristol, one in Kingsport, and one in Johnson City. There's also a large VA hospital in Johnson City.

      @@TNVAHomeTeam thank you for taking the time to answer. We live in a suburb of Chicago and simply researching on where to retire in a few years. Just my hubby and I. Would hate to move somewhere then find out later we are not welcomed. Both courteous, hard working, intelligent individuals. Just have the dark hair and olive skin, lol. God bless.
