- In our 4th episode of For the Win we take a look at 2 very different Chevy C10 builds. One with Hellcat power making 745 whp and a chassis built fully engineered pro touring C10 making about 600 hp to the tires. Both built by the owners, both dream C10's and both are completely badass and if you could have one of these let us know which one and why For the Win!

My favorite series , if I had to pick it would be Chris Chandler’s C10. Love the deceleration sound & 7500 RPM revs💪🏼

Hard to choose because I’m really a Mopar guy, but have to give it to Chris’s build. As wicked as a Hellcat engine sounds, that exhaust on the LS would scare the crap out of unsuspecting motorists or pedestrians. Love the high-revs too. This is a fun series guys!
Chris’s has to be the winner, it’s built to perfection 👊🏻

Chris Chandler's C-10 would be my pick for many of the same reasons you stated.The power range is in that sweet spot for me and the fact that it was built to not only handle extremely well but be driven on a daily basis is great. As someone who loves custom trucks getting a weight distribution like that is damn near next to impossible,tremendous respect for that👍
Definitely Chris's C-10 ! As car guys we at least want to here an exhaust the C-10 sounded amazing. Just more my style.

Really love them both although very different . The stance on Jodies is my fav but not nearly the stability / hook up of Chris truck. The 67-72 body styles were my favourite.

Was a tough pick but i have to go with the hellcat powered C10. That mechanical whine is life dude. Im not an airbag fan either so thats the one thing i dislike about it myself. I actually love the tailgate lol
Gotta say; I totally agree with you once again Shawn. The color, the weight distribution, the interior & the hound's tooth seats puts it over the top for me!
I'd also go with Chris's C10 it's visually simple, sounds great & the power/handling/brakes are exceptional.

Imagine if Chevrolet dusted off the blueprints of trucks and cars of this era and reintroduced their own "restomod" versions. Chris Chandler definitely throws the anchor down on that idea. Way to go.

Chris Chandlers truck gets the win for me too, I loved the amount of thought and work he put into the engineering side, weight distribution etc, you can see the fun you are having too.. Hard choice, two great trucks!....
Both are great builds but I love how Chris set his up for handling

C10 with a hemi is an awesome idea, but #2 wins for me too. A n/a high rev V8 that sounds this good cannot lose.

I like both of them for different reasons. That Hellcat is friggin sick, and in a C10!!!! I'm a Mopar (truck) guy but drove a Chevy step side for YEARS!!! Chris's 650hp (I'm assuming at the crank) is all you'd need in C10. The fact that the purpose built chassis was done, I have to go with Chris's. Great video Sean

@@TT-ch2pza couple decades ago it was the 53-56 F100s, and then the Lil Reds and Warlocks. Good to see these trucks getting the love now

I have to go with N/A ls3 c10. You can have the same HP supercharger or turbo but that same HP N/A is totally different.

I would go with Chris Chandler Truck just like you said it's perfect 600hp and handles I had a 68Ford Pick-Up w/390 side Exhaust IT put me in the HOSPITAL almost DIED Hit a telephone Pole CAUGHT the Steering wheel in the Stomach internal injuries but I miss that Truck fastest one I ever owned

C-10 #2 mainly for the higher revving N/A. It seems to put the power down better than the Hellcat swap.
That chassis underneath and a bit less power sure helps it grip

Easiest pic yet. Chris's hands down. I'm not opposed to doing cross-brand swaps (mostly LS swapping everything), but that hellcat engine just seems dirty and offensive in the other drug. And in that airbags are stupid and its a simple choice.
I think they’re both really great builds but I do prefer Chris’ ride for the choices made

I'd have to pick the second one. I love N/A engines, high revvin' GM product in a GM product. Both are very badass trucks and I love trucks😎

The c10 you pick is the truck I would build for myself. Good power and a good handling truck. Would just like it in a different color. Besides that i would have it almost identically the way it is.

You know, this is getting too hard in many ways. I will go with Chris's because of the handling and chrome. The other one has my all time favorite front-end. Motor selection does not bother me in the least.

While the Hellcat sounds good, the all motor C10 sounds even better. The pro touring, all motor, C10 gets my vote.

Shawn I can honestly say I pause this video and got on my other phone to reply on who you picked Chris's C10 was absolutely awesome the sound was unbelievable and he could just pound those Shifts out, the stance was awesome, and black center wheels with polished outers is my favorite wheel, so I'll guss Chirs on this one all day, what a great concept that your doing with these comparisons, keep them coming brother. Both trucks are awesome. I'm a fan of the 2nd build more so for the suspension and use of
'Chevrolet' parts especially the hounds tooth seat material nice touch. The wheels and tires on Jodey's GMC are more too my liking , big fan of natural aluminum finish. Great video Shawn.

I like both of them, but the LS powered truck doesn't have air bags. So the LS powered gets my vote. I'm sure it's a lot more driver friendly! PEACE ✌️
{Jody FTW } OMG I would proudly own either truck, both are killer builds, and I had a C10 step side in high school in the 80's but as a Mopar Dude, you can't beat the Hemi!

The ultimate truck would be Chris's truck with the hellcat in it! If I had to choose id choose Chris's truck just off handling and chassis alone.
Chandlers for the win 1st off my father had a 72 with that front end and even though it only had a 350 with a Q-jet I beat the shit out of it and when I used to open up that Q-jet to here that mown of the Rochester 4 barrel, as for the one with the hell cat motor very nice just not a fan of other motors in other cars even if thats hot rodding just that simple, I like that most of the stuff on Chandlers was all GM, you can have the power of the hell cat I would rather have power to weight and all chevy all day
Super close 1 for me, but I love that Hellcat!!!! The sound and power is amazing. The interior on the other 1 is sick dogtoothe reminds me of Ska music!!! Have to go with that crazy 🤪 GMC, lol.

Id be forced to pick the hellcat swapped C10. I have a hellcat, and the 67 to 72 C10s are my favorite trucks. When I sell my hellcat, I may look into getting a C10...My current silverado is bagged, and I have had 4 trucks prior that were, so its a thing I do like.
