Moving the motor back is like making power an getting better balance in the truck alot of people don't do this, very popular in road course car an Nascar
That guys shifting is deadly! I like it because it not perfect but it can get down and boogie. If people think hot rodding is about having a perfect paint and body then they know nothing about performance. So many guys having perfectly restored cars but they can drive far enough and when they do they break down,so id rather build something that can take the heat, take the speak, get the road chips and it wont matter because you didnt spend a billion hours making the body look perfect so you end up not driving enough afraid ti getting hit,or towing it to shows. Its gotta look good but you wanna drive it and make it really reliable. It can look good but you want it to be strong, sound good, and drive well.
When it comes to spending my money, I’m a Mopar and Superformance man only. However, I love and appreciate all the hard work and innovation in all other types of builds. The people who have the skills to thinking up and building these vehicles totally gains my respect! This one is impressive, would be more so if it had those cup holders 😂
Sean glad you're all back to normal. I saw the update and i didn't realize the guy who wrecked that comet had it for that long and put that much in it. Then the wreck ....i felt bad for you but i shed a tear for the other guy lol. 23yrs 200k and 2 wives lol.... wrecked it because autotopia wanted a drive. I'm glad nobody was gravely injured. Anyhow i love 70's model chevy trucks, another banger.... but they are all bangers
OMG 😲 That truck is built to the max, big bastard brakes it has raw to it with class fantastic 👏 build dude. Thanks again Shawn for another bitchin video
This is SCREAMING for a 1k HPZZ632, a F1-R Procharger on a 540-572 BBC with a blow through carb on E85 or EFI setup making 900-1300 HP, or 3.0 Whipple or TVS X3100 on a big CI Gen V with 900-1200 HP and that Tremec 6060 with Dr Gas Boom Tubes.
My ls3 camaro 512 rwhp 448 rwtq with heads cam and full bolt ons, stock bottom end. 570 is definitely a stretch but I dont think its out of the realm of possibilitys
I agree it sits way too low ' but a lot of people are obsessed with super low ' it look's dumb especially a truck. The rest of the way it's done look's pretty good though.
@@bmf00 The truck is built to race. There is a reason race vehicles are as low as possible, the lower the center of gravity the better the handling. Additionally the truck has a nearly all original factory steel body with almost no modifications, so if its ugly to you it would seem that you just don't like 67-72 C10s I would say, which is fine.
Coming from a person that has owned a c4 Vette and now owns c5..I can tell you that truck has very good parts..great build!..🏁👍🏽
Built right for sure
Love it! 500-600hp NA with a manual is a perfect combination!
Nothing like an LS swapped build😎
You mean nothing worse right?
@@danmyers9372 y u say that bro
@Disciple of Yahshua of the WAY I want one of those
Some people think they’re overdone but I think they make great power and are reliable
@@danmyers9372They are everywhere. I understand what you mean, but they are just so good, so reliable. It’s hard to say no for the money too.
The sound from that thing immediately creates goosebumps! Love it!
Such a killer build

Extra love for those huge brakes!
Gotta love those!
This is great. Remember the Muscle Truck on Roadkill?

This was built to drive hard and the owner auto crosses it regularly
@@AutotopiaLA I wish I could be on your show but I dont have anything ready yet.
I do got some sick rides though.
Beautiful, finished my Sonoma GT(s10) build and ready for a c10. Love these videos thanks guys!

Now that is a badass truck 🔥
Yes it is!
Badass street truck. I would definitely daily that!
It’s such a sick build and I’d drive it every day too
I really like the band-aid on the left rear ! .
You should go to Texas and meet Beto and the on d gas crew, they have some wild trucks
I just swapped my 99 Silverado engine and transmission to a Gen 5 LT1 and 8L90. Still have a lot of work to do but it's starting to become a beast.
Cool!
Thank you both very much.
Amazing on so many different levels.
Badass beyond measure
Agreed 👊
Nice, always wanted a c10
This is a cool one for sure
Cool truck

Big fan of purpose built vehicles and the proof is in the pudding here on this one!
Same for me all the way!
I love the square set up
Love that body style. It is dyfenly one bad ass truck.

What independent rear suspension did he use?
Yes! We need to know.
I should’ve asked too. Sorry about that

Clutch? Thats only needed for first gear. I float every every gear. I have been truck driver long enough its just second nature.

It was built to auto cross so it’s the perfect power for that. Anymore would be useless
Let’s see if this thing will even do a burnout 🤣
It does but hooks up quickly
Whats the story of the second gen Camaro in the garage?
Check out our channel. We shot that one a while back. The owner is a super cool girl and it’s a badass build
Street legal only in USA
Dude looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin
That's a bitchin truck🤙🏻
It’s so kickass!!
✌🤙
He said stainless exhaust but I never heard what mufflers he’s using
I can’t remember…but sure sounds good
Why need side mirrors? Everyone is behind me....perfect lol
570 RWHP from an LS3? Damn, must have 14:1 running on race gas.

He must have meant crank, then 100% believable

👏👏💪❤
Ls3 570hp to the rear wheels...BS lol
That's hard to do with a built LS7.

500 for sure tho
Feel free to hit him up with questions. His info is in the description of the video
