I’d love to see a full build on a ford bull nose. This level of quality and the fit and finish is beautiful. I’m just a ford guy at heart but I respect the build
This thing is awesome. My dad had one, RWD, black and gray. I remember sitting in the floor, messing with his CB radio and listening to George Straight on the radio. Memories man. This build is one of the nicest I have ever seen. Great job.
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing your incredible craftsmanship. I'm probably in a very lonely minority here, but I would drool over a truck like this with a long bed.
My great grandfather bought a brand new 79 C10 back in the day. It’s never left the family and I’m the 4th generation to have it. My plan is to LS swap it and travel the country with my wife some day.
I saw this at Sema, the interior and those wheels entire combination just I fell in love with. I said to many I still say this now of all the cars I saw at Sema this last year this is the one I would take home.
Incredible build, incredible truck. This is out of reach for all the blue collar folks 250k for a truck is hard to come by. Glad for those who can get them. Beautiful build.
High school classmate had one of these back in the late 70s! Had the 455hp motor! Same color and interior! Nice truck back then and a nice truck now! Was still into the muscle cars back then, had a 68 charger in the late 70s but would love to have a truck like that now!! We both hung out at a bar that had the mechanical bulls when urban cowboy was big in the theaters! Thanks for bringing back the memories brother!!!
9:33 that seating position is very smart to incorporate. 6’4” 285 so I’m a K5 guy for that reason. I’ve remounted my drivers seat a few inches back that is impossible to do in a regular cab with a factory seat. Slick build!!!
It’s a beautiful truck if you make 6 figures. I almost ordered one with the same colors in 1975. K20, deluxe camper package for $6,400. Bought my first vehicle a 1973 K20 deluxe camper pkg for $3500 instead . Still have it.
4:52 been looking at that picture for 10 minutes. I can't find one single thing wrong with it. I can't find one single thing I would change. That is amazing. Every single thing is just right. That's your Denali Interior, maybe even Squarebody Escalade.
You guys are KILLING it! Love all of your work. This truck is a masterpiece of style and function. Can't wait to meet you guys at Goodguys this weekend.
9:09 what us tall guys need is the front of the seat to be raised so we have thigh support. I had to do that to all my squares that had stock bench seats in them. I raised the rear 2" and the front 3.5" then It stopped hurting my hips to drive them long distance.
I lost my teeth in a square body. Just thought I'd share my square body story. I saved for years to buy a classic truck. I finally found the perfect one. A 1975 K-20. It was in great shape. Needed a few things mechanically, but was drivable. One day on my way to work, a Nissan Altima going 105mph crossed the yellow lines and hit me head on. Paramedics had to pry the steering wheel out of my mouth. My entire face had to be reconstructed. I'm currently working on fixing up my dad's old 72 C-10. I actually prefer the round bodies over squares, but this one needs a lot more work than my K-20 did. I'm hoping one day it'll be half as nice as the square body in this video.
Awesome truck, and a great idea i bet many of us would want a retro truck but with all those new parts and technology sure demand got to be explosive!!!
LoL @ talking to folks. I'm a car fanatic. If I'm driving that and you come up to me at the gas station you'll be looking to make a break for it after 20 minutes. I'll talk your ear off. This truck is so well thought out and executed.
Before reading ANY of the other comments, I have to say this. YES, i grew up with square bodies also,my mom had two Chevy Blazers, Burgandy 1974 was a complete lemon, had Chevy, buy it back because of all the defects and then special ordered a 1976 Blazer with custom moss green factory paint, so that being said I absoulutly love that you kept this truck with original paint scheme and colors and all the natural look it could possibly have. LOVE IT.
Man this things looks bad brother and yeah I agree feel like we need to bring back as many of these squarebodys as possible essentially a old school Denali/ high country
Dudeeee. My wife is literally going to kill me. I’ve got a ‘76 C20… it’s yellow/gold and is beggggging for brown interior and a wood bed. This is alll I needed..
Very Nice Build….. Not tooo High in the Air…Not Tooo Low to the Ground! This Truck Is What Truck’ Was Meant to be When Built.!!! This is one of the Best Truck’s I have ever Seen.! Nice Color Scheme/But had it been Painted White..! It be Worth $1M…😄
9:22 go for buckets in some of them. I upgraded my 78 c20 with 91 suburban bucket seats. They ride really well and have a center console. Most people aren't riding 3 people in these things. Get some buckets. 91 burban seats are a good place to start and they have fold down arm rests on both sides.
10:27: I'm surprised, as crazy-detailed as you guys are, that you haven't taken these Vintage Air face plates off and either made them generic OEM-looking or printed up some RS versions.
I been looking at that pic for 10 minutes and cannot find one single thing I would change about it. It's just right. the 4 small gauges, the door handle relocation, the touch screen, the 4wd knobs... that gorgeous steering wheel. keeping the ac vents where they were... seat and console... trim on top of instument cluster bezel, wood on steering wheel door panels, keeping the vent wings. damn its beautiful.
I bought a '76 C20 the other day. It's completely stock (except for wear items) and I've been driving it every day. I have a hard time understanding why anyone thinks it needs modifications or "improvements". It works great.
Beautiful job I just got a 77 f150 4x short bed. I’ll keep my 06 crew cab z71 and build on the ford. I got sick of looking at new truck prices and they are so boring.
Minute 1:38 “Everybody has connection to a square body truck” 🛻 Yes I agree with that. My dad built one along the years and I grew up 😢with that idea of building one for me.
Only thing I'd change about it, is dumping that LT1 for either a built ~600hp LBZ Duramax sitting in front of an Alison trans, or a built 454ci LSX (with accompanying 454 badge for the front grille) with a Holley Sniper EFI and both vintage, correct looking air cleaner and the coil/valve covers that look like big block valve covers, a peppercorn German Square Weave carpet, 2 more inches of lift (it looks awful close to those little 35s lol), and swapping that blue out for either Burnt Orange Iridescent, Lime Iridescent, or Dark Olive Iridescent.... never was a blue guy ...oh forgot one thing, and the Deluxe Two Tone, not the Special (I like the matching roofs to side tone over the roof matching the base)..... other than those, she's perfect 👌😅 Edit: ok ok, I'd rather have straight Dana 70's front and back with 4-Links, but I still wouldn't mind an IFS for the comfort 😅
I feel the same way about Blue and Red. Blue trucks and Red Trucks. Just the toughest 2 colors. I love me some Red on Red 80's Bullnose ford trucks. I had a blue on blue 82 F150 Flareside 4x4 300 I6 that was awesome. I regret selling that truck!
73-78 wwre the true square bodies , I owned till 7 years ago a 77 Cheyenne 2WD Blazer carry-all . I do miss it much but It needed a little care and the house I was buying was with out a garage so I had to sell . It was way to good ti sit outside in the weather .
11:16 make a bezel with the 4wd knob integrated. One big pick, get rid of the non intermittent wipers. with new wiring harnesses and such put intermittent in there. my 78 had it factory. still a pita but nowhere near as bad as non intermittent.
Hey guys never think I'm picking on yall. I'm not. you guys are absolutely the shit! Just saying things we square owners hate about our trucks we wish you would fix. You guys seem to be the ones to complain to as you're in a position to fix these shortcomings. If you guys cant fix it no one can.
I only wish that the square body made a extended cab like the Chevy as tens. I think that truck would have really knocked it out of the park. It would have gave people a little bit more room in the cab. But still keep the 6 foot bad. I think it would have really looked sharp. What do you think? Please comment back
Honored to play a small part in these amazing builds. Yet another home run!
This is probably the nicest truck I’ve ever seen.
I’d love to see a full build on a ford bull nose. This level of quality and the fit and finish is beautiful. I’m just a ford guy at heart but I respect the build
I need to win the lottery and have y’all go full Legends on my grandpa’s old ‘72 C10
All that beauty and then the 4x4 switch plate has my ocd going nuts
Now that is a nice truck. I would drive that thing all the time. Simple, classy and to the point. Less is more.
The practically of a longbed rocks. If a daily driver, and you bet I'd daily drive it, a longbed would be fantastic.
I'm a big chevy fan and love the square body trucks this one is a home run so gorgeous 😊
My great grandfather bought a brand new 79 C10 back in the day. It’s never left the family and I’m the 4th generation to have it. My plan is to LS swap it and travel the country with my wife some day.
You nailed it with the modern chassis and drivetrain. I had c10s, k10s,k20s, 2500hd 4x4, that's perfect
Yuck the “Boomer “exploding gM built square body ( rust prone) that the manufacturer got away with for over ten years, that’s horrible & shameful
I was expecting a squarebody but that's just the body on a new truck, looks super high quality too
Saw this truck at SEMA last year, looked amazing!
High school classmate had one of these back in the late 70s! Had the 455hp motor! Same color and interior! Nice truck back then and a nice truck now! He didn’t have one of these!
Very awesome, chevy needs to bring these trucks back on market, lots better than crap their building today.
9:33 that seating position is very smart to incorporate. 6’4” 285 so I’m a K5 guy for that reason. I’ve remounted my drivers seat a few inches back that is impossible to do in a regular cab with a factory seat. Slick build!!!

Absolutely LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE!!! this truck and what you guys are doing!

Bro that is one clean truck. That model of Chevy will always be my favorite. Congrats!
Awesome truck, and a great idea i bet many of us would want a retro truck but with all those new parts and technology sure demand got to be explosive!!!
I was lucky enough to pick up a vette chassis a few years ago and seen the tan truck in the building stage
LoL @ talking to folks. I'm a car fanatic. If I'm driving that and you come up to me at the gas station you'll be looking to make a break for it after 20 minutes. I'll talk your ear off.

You took out all the goodness. I still have a lot of respect for your build.
Thanks for sharing the love of a square body Chevy.
Man this things looks bad brother and yeah I agree feel like we need to bring back as many of these squarebodys as possible essentially a old school Denali/ high country
4wd switch is the only thing that doesn’t belong in there lol beautiful truck!
WELL, SOB!! WHEN YOU SAID BORDER LINE SHOW QUALITY, YOU BETTER LOOK AGAIN. IT'S WAY PAST THAT BORDER LINE.
FREAKING NICE BUILD 👏
Beautiful truck, I use to have a tan one very similar to yours.
Would love to see a Legend Series GMT400. Grew up with a '94 Suburban and that bodystyle is so nostalgic to me
Dudeeee. My wife is literally going to kill me. I’ve got a ‘76 C20… it’s yellow/gold and is beggggging for brown interior and a wood bed. This is alll I needed..
We've come full circle. Where custom vehicles look stock and stock vehicles look custom.
This is probably the nicest c10 in the world
Very Nice Build…..
They either need too put smaller tires on it or raise it up just a little.
Everything you guys do is pure gold
Those trucks look way better lifted than lowered.
10:27: I'm surprised, as crazy-detailed as you guys are, that you haven't taken these Vintage Air face plates off and either made them generic OEM-looking or printed up some RS versions.
agree dont like the plates from V.A. either
4:52. That is perfection. Don't change a thing. That is a Squarebody as an escalade. Only thing I would change about that is the driver...lol
Even that color goes with damn near every exterior color. Mine would be a black 77 with full outer trim with the yellow stripes.
did find one thing. get rid of the 1500 on rh side of dash. Chevy isnt a gmc. put the trucks trim level there like its supposed to be.
I bought a 75 Chevy C10 short bed Cheyenne in December of 1974. I drove it until 1981 and it was a nice truck.
I bought a '76 C20 the other day. It's completely stock (except for wear items) and I've been driving it every day. I have a hard time understanding why anyone thinks it needs modifications or "improvements". It works great.
I just bought a 75 Cheyenne
My first vehicle (that I owned), was a Chevy C10.
Y'all should make a stepside long bed!
Van conversion captain chairs can fit too. Tight but they can work!
9:44 That looks like a nice place to be.
I had a 77 Scottsdale. I loved it
Sexiest one of these trucks is a '77 in black with full trim with the yellow lines in the trim. That's the one I'd have built.
That blue and white is my second choice but I don;t want the 77 trim on it. want the black striped trim.
Absolutely beautiful! I love what you guys are doing, If you ever need any engineering or design help, let me know.
Another winner you got there buddy, great build!!!
4 door, 8 foot box, dually version of this would be tops.
In 1976 the interior would be blue to match the exterior. The truck is gorgeous.
Beautiful job
I just got a 77 f150 4x short bed.
If I had the money I’d do one similar to that. Love it
Это классика, замечательный автомобиль, очень жаль, что таких сейчас не делают 😢
Only thing I'd change about it, is dumping that LT1 for either a built ~600hp LBZ Duramax sitting in front of an Alison trans, or a built 454ci LSX (with accompanying 454 badge for the front grille) with a Holley Sniper EFI and both vintage, correct looking air cleaner and the coil/valve covers that look like big block valve covers, a peppercorn German Square Weave carpet, 2 more inches of lift (it looks awful close to those little 35s lol), and swapping that blue out for either Burnt Orange Iridescent, Lime Iridescent, or Dark Olive Iridescent.... never was a blue guy ...oh forgot one thing, and the Deluxe Two Tone, not the Special (I like the matching roofs to side tone over the roof matching the base)..... other than those, she's perfect 👌😅

I want them wheels & tires on my 97 Silverado Z71 off-road cool beans
Too bad the world is ending with WW3, such beautiful cars we have .
That's the sickest truck ever! WOW
In love with these. Ballpark… what’s one cost out the door?
It looks like a lifted 2x4 without the old style front axil! I miss that front axil with the 4x4 shifter on the floor instead of 4x4 dials!
I'd love to see one of your chassis under an ICON build. I know they use Art Morrison, but I think there is room in the market for both brands.
Learned how to “really” drive on my brother’s 1973 square body with a 3 speed on the column.
Art! this is Art. sure, it has wheels, but there is no other way to describe it
That's basically one of my dream truck s
👍 my first truck was a '83 chevy 4x4
This is absolutely gorgeous.
5:57 It looks like its supposed to. I'm sure its way better than what came on it new. I miss the wood trim in my 77.
Fantastic vision and execution.
Awesome truck! And I'm a Ford guy.
The truck in urban cowboy was a '79 ford. Would have been cooler all the way around. :) Damn nice truck though.
Foxx Hunt truck?
73-78 wwre the true square bodies , I owned till 7 years ago a 77 Cheyenne
2WD Blazer carry-all . I do miss it much
but It needed a little care and the house I was buying was with out a garage so I had to sell . It was way to good ti sit outside in the weather .
It looks like a great truck but, too much of you and not enough of the truck.
My favorite is when companies that will do absolutely anything you want if you pay them talk about ..."Packages"...
My dad had the same truck , I thought it was cool to have the dimmer switch on the floor .
Beautiful truck one of the kind
Perfecto.. My dream pick up.. 👍👍
Beautiful truck good work guys 💯💯💯💯💯🖤🖤🖤🖤
Yeah, as always just freakin' PUMPED!!
11:16 make a bezel with the 4wd knob integrated. One big pick, get rid of the non intermittent wipers. with new wiring harnesses and such put intermittent in there. my 78 had it factory. still a pita but nowhere near as bad as non intermittent.

Drinking Game…. Take a shot every time you hear TRUCK!
🍻🍻🍻🍻
This was chevy in its prime!
That’s a beautiful truck!!!!
Bravo! It’s beautiful!
Love this truck so much
What a classic
Incredible build!!!
Simply fucking cool - just wow!
I only wish that the square body made a extended cab like the Chevy as tens. I think that truck would have really knocked it out of the park.
It would have gave people a little bit more room in the cab. But still keep the 6 foot bad. I think it would have really looked sharp.
What do you think? Please comment back
Agree...I cant have one the steering wheel is practically in my chest not enough room.
I own 2 c10's and I get ask all the time I sell them , he'll no , never . I love my chevy'$
Hell yeah...... Freakin cool buddy..... Greetings from the 🇮🇳🤠🤠🤩🤩🙌🏻🤘🏻
My uncle Mike literally had one… well not exactly it was an OBS RCSB z71 but still.
Nice 👍🏻 truck
He drove a Ford in Urban Cowboy! Lol. Jokes aside, BADASS BOWTIE
