We all noticed the “one wheel peel” during the edit…Dustin said the posi must’ve blown out…and sorry about the in car audio. We try but sometimes miss
Hey man, things happen, now they know something to upgrade or adjust to make that much more perfect.
😊😊😊😊😊
Woke nation strikes again.
I spent 10 hrs changing one brake. The work these guys do has to be acknowledged.
Proof it gets driven and parts/things happen. What was Dustin saying, they come back in for a tweaks and fixes because that's what happens when you drive it.
I knew something was up but lol'd at the tire mark and body stripe, details
Apart from the cars. I fuck'n really love how you keep reiterating the costs of things. The fact that people out there know someone who could do this build for like 29k in his shed at home cracks me up.🤣🤣🤣 I've painted for 25 years and done customs also not blowing my trumpet but I fully know that hrs equal $$. These builds are fuck'n killer man. Love this channel🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
Thanks and that’s why I keep repeating myself. Hopefully it helps people understand the reality of custom builds on the higher levels
@AutotopiaLA I love your Chanel I don't have a bad ass car I always say if I can meet anyone be you and Mike Tyson
You could build a car that will get the same attention as this car for 29k .
This is a top 5 car I've seen on your channel. Let me explain.
The stripe, it's done so far behind RIGHT that it warmed my heart to see it.
The car and color combination is just sexy.
The details, fit and finish, simplicity and "disguised" over the top custom work.
I'm a Chevelle guy, but this thing just hits all the right things in a guy.
If I had to change 1 thing, I'd lift the back end up about an inch and a half. Regardless, this is a God tier build.
That's that I respect all the work it takes to refinish a body on a car and truck.i used to paint and refinish cars .I love the craft .I miss doing it all day . People dont understand .I could have 40hrs in polishing wet sanding buffing cleaning .but the look on a customers face on pickup day priceless .when I worked on cars for long periods of time they become a part of me. I did a 1970 super bee it was a factory matching numbers restoration. The sound just moving it around the shop in primer .loved it
I AM A FORD GUY, BUT ALWAYS BEEN A SUCKER FOR THE 69 CAMARO. SUCH A NICE BUILD!
Ditto that! My first car purchased in 1973 was a 1970 Mach 1. I had LOTS of friends with first Gen Camaros. I also always always loved the looks of the ‘70’-‘72 Challengers/Cudas. I just can’t stand the MOPAR or no car idiots. I could never own a MOPAR because I could not associated with those people.
I like the stripe on the inside of the hood and engine compartment. Nice touch
I love that approach with the stripe
I gotta hand it to these guys. Doing a pro tour build thats a daily driver and looks this good is not easy. Kudos from Australia
I agree. They do class work
There’s so many times I watch your videos you hear the builder say it’s a drivers car that what the owner wants, reliability fun factor, then list all the details of what went into it; components, fabrication, engine/ trans / rear combination, the interior, paint, the list goes on and I say “Oh yeah that one is my favorite build” overall scope of a project is huge, and utilizing all the expertise of the shop to combine all of those elements and make it into a rolling work of art with serious attitude is just what every gear head wants to hear and see. This car is outstanding the paint and offset European inspired stripe (even painted in the engine bay)is killer, Dustin builds beasts 650+ rear wheel hp is right at that enough to get you in trouble range, he’s a testament to what a customer wants in a builder....passion! What a great video, and a very cool car!!!
He really does build great cars and has some unique styling sense. I always love shooting with Dustin and the cars Nostalgia builds
Thankyou Dustin and Shawn for bringing this beast to us, what a build dream machine!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Sean once again ..Greatest display of a Street Machine..your show is beyond beautiful!!
Thank you and Nostalgia builds some amazing rides
Dude I can say the owner of the camaro is living his dream 👏👏👏👏👏 beautiful piece of machinery 🥲🥲🥲
For sure and this is one of many badass rides he has
Visually what first stood out to me was the SS hood and the stripe, and I thought, what a great look! This is a nice car, inside and out.
Really class build. I love that stripe!
love the subtle touches to the camaro.. from the widening of the fenders, rocker panel to the continuation of the racing stripe in the engine bay. well done dustin!
They do such great work
I love pro-touring builds...the stance and sound and power are perfect
Agreed
awesome...looked like the posi wasn't working on the burnout...only left one pawprint on the road
Good eye, Dustin is aware and probably has it fixed!!💯👊💯
I pinned a comment about this
The stripe that goes under the hood... That's just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Such a cool touch
Dude, you've got the best job.
I do love it!
This build is really nice. I like the euro stripe and everything. Perfect.
Love how the strip flows with the car and under the hood to the side of the motor. Great work
Same for me. Such a cool touch
Love it! I met Dustin at Quarantine Cruise 34, super nice dude. And, to your point Shawn, flying under the radar with epic builds. AND, yes, you better bring a big wallet. Frankly, for anything nice, from any builder. Awesome stuff!
He’s such a cool guy and his company builds some really amazing rides for sure
@@AutotopiaLA Agreeed!
Nice stance, good 👍 sound great metal 👌 work class build keep up the good work guys. Thanks again Shawn, you know how to live
Thanks. They do such great work. Always fun shooting with Dustin
First thing I noticed, the racing stripe never ends!!!! Wow OK!!!! That's trick. I love the bodywork and how smooth it works with the stance. Primo build right there eh???
Its a driver stripe and they put it on the wrong side XD
I love this build. I don’t understand why so much hating on the stripe…I think it’s awesome!
Insane looking Camaro, true craftsman ship.
Class build for sure
Shaun you find some of the coolest builds out there time after time. Thanks man.
Glad you like em too. So many amazing custom builds out there
Insane build for a daily driver. Dustin's goal of 12 cars this year is admirable. He's really pushing himself to the limitless. ;-)
He’s got a solid crew that makes it happen with him and yeah, 12 is a lot to complete yearly
All American car . Awesome build and amazing show.
My favorite style of stripes is ghost striping like OEM. Where it looks like a solid color in bright light, but when you start walking around they pop out at ya. Really time consuming and hard thing to pull off depending on the metallic/pearl effect. There is a Yenko clone rolling around somewhere in maroon with that paint.
Dustin & crew really know how to build em!!
Very nice , thx Shawn
They sure do great work at Nostalgia
These guys push out some great looking builds!
Yes they do
Love this car, love the stripe! Even painted it under the hood
Screw the haters the stripe is cool and DIFFERENT! it's hard to step above the crowd . This car does it .Great job to the designer and the builders .
I agree. I love the stripe
Stripes fine, common as in any form of racing.. but it's a drivers stripe they put on the WRONG side
Another insane build .I like the driver car not a trailer queen . I love the stripe .years ago in a magazine i seen a 1969 dodge charger red with a white strip on the right side they even did the swap it was right hand drive. It was a driver I purchased the magazine
I know the Charger you’re talking about built by Steve Strope. Great car!
Oh man, how many cars is this guy building. And all em so god dang EPIC!
Dustin build a 10 custom cars in one year .... And this year his goal is to make 12 custom cars... Wow that's great Shawn.... Mind blowing buddy 😎🤠🤠... greetings from India 🙏🙏
Thank you! Dustin and his crew do great work for sure
Gorgeous car. Great job. Every car is different and amazing that’s why I enjoy your show
OMG 😃
Make the stripe red and call it "The Chevy Good of War!" Love it ❤
I like it in white color... makes it look a little more stock
Looks really clean in white with that stripe
That posi called in sick lol beautiful Camaro! Nothin like a pro touring 69 Camaro
We figured it out watching the footage lol! Nice build though
Single-side stripe is the best. Nice. Please .... ignore those with no eye for aesthetics.
I think it’s cool too
Next to Mr Strope ,Dustin has to be my 2nd favourite builder ,10/10 AAA TOP SHELF
That’s awesome! I love the work they do
Absolut wunderschöner Umbau.🥳🎉🤯
That metalwork is amazing..That Widebody 💥💥
So clean!
Badass build but that one 1 he laid down at the end sent me 😂
Matches the hood stripe! 🤣
all that power and a one-wheel-peel.
Now…check the pinned comment…the posi rear blew out and is being corrected
@@AutotopiaLA yeah I figured something went wrong!
Enjoyed the video Sean
Beautiful Camaro Dustin
Thanks for the great content Folks
Thank you. I really like this car and Dustin is such a cool guy
@@AutotopiaLA
You guys have come a long way and Dustin does seem like good people
Definitely an accomplished builder
Very nice build. I love drivers
Me too and this one is really nice
I freaking love the stripe!
Man u got the best job ever .cool cars and trucks . And met all the builders. I wish I could afford a ground up built car or truck from a builder. Idont think the prices are to high
Wish I could afford it too…working on it!
Time for differential rebuild! Amazing car either way.
Yep. We all discovered that after seeing the footage
me encanta ese Camaro elegante , poderoso , y deportivo
Me too!!
Is that an open rear end? I didn't see smoke coming from both rear tires.
Check the pinned comment
The key word is “drive” ….
❤❤❤
Yes and this one gets driven
Stunning Camaro! Very nice build!
Really a class build. Dustin and his crew do clean work
Invisible seat belts nice touch
Lap belts only but I had mine on
once again sick video! I would love to take a spin in this bad boy!
I’d love to have it in my garage for “anytime I want” driving
One wheel peel ? The exact reason I don't do burnouts in my vintage Mustang lol
Check the pinned comment
@@AutotopiaLA its a killer car, I was just being a dork lol
I love the stripe.
Every single car they bring to the channel just shows that theyre masterful in designing and restraining every square inch of every car sent off to a lucky customer. Amazing to see this much quality SOOO CONSISTENTLY 👏 👌 BRAVO
We do get to shoot some of the best builds around and I love it!
Being different is what makes its all worth it
Especially when it’s different and good
So much detail into it... even with the burnout... the single strip and rubber, same side same color 21:08

Beautiful car sounds good too.
amazing
Cool looking car great build ,keep well guys
Thanks. They do great work
Love it too!!
So cool👍🏽🤙 yeah the build is a time thing and cost but he's got the owners with the $$$ and a team of workers to get it done 👍🏽👍🏽
‘69 had the best looking muscle cars
I like how the stripe is under the hood too.
That car is sweet
Couple of good fellas here👍🇺🇸

Banned? Weird but welcome back! Dustin is a great guy and they do really nice work
@@AutotopiaLA yes👍👍
And apparently some people don’t agree with my opinion to SENTENCE CRIMINALS TO LABOR CAMPS 👍👍thanks fo answer it
Have a great day
😎👍🙏❤️🇺🇸
Dustin such a cool cat that knows his shit!
Nice build!👏👍❤
Really nice build for sure
I will never not like a 69 Camaro! 😍
This one especially. Really clean build
Nice! ✌
Cool 😎
super nice!!! thanks!
Glad you liked it. Great build
Wicked car all round, can’t fault it in any area… maybe the lack of decent seat belts 🤔. Love this ‘69 Camaro 💯%👌
Same for me. Would love better belts but what a nice build
@@AutotopiaLA at close to $500k and then skimp on safety seems absurd.
Agreed! Didn't even realize it until I read your comment 😅 gotta have good seats and restraints!
@@GarretSterling nice Recaro seats but I’d love to see a shoulder strap or full harness
@@AutotopiaLA yeah man, Recaro or even some decent corbeaus
Love the stripe. Bitchin Camaro 2.0!
Me too
Such a clean build
It really is
Nice car!
Still have a pair of NOS hood scoops complete from GM after tracking down my 68 SS hood in the Not Stolen within 30 days section of the local Buy and Sell in 1980.
Dude! How didn't you give that guy props for the stripe that ran top and bottom from front to back. Down the firewall inside the trunk. It was awesome!
Sorry. I got to the end of the video and saw it. My bad.
I did! I actually went kinda crazy about it
badass chevy
Cool
Love it
Nice!
I have a 71, 72 and 73 Pinto. I'd put my 71 in this man's hands and discuss building a driver. Him or Roadster Shop. I can't execute what's in my head.
The 72 and 73 stay as they are.
What a tight build. Love it!
Definitely a nice build
What kind of glasses is dustin wearing there nice need to grab a pair!
😂😂👍🇺🇸
Great build, great guys, and great video. Hey bro, we are not getting notifications for new videos.
Don’t know why. That’s a TH-cam thing I think but will look into it
Precioso!!
Sick Camaro, but what up with the peg leg burnout? 😂
Check the pinned comment. Posi was gone but didn’t figure it out until seeing the footage
Armando did the interior 👍
And killed it!
Super Rad !
Definitely
One of the well built and beautiful cars ive seen. But a one legger? 🥴
Check the pinned comment
Bad ass 69 and like the builder plus abullet cam and afr heads thas what i have straub tech grind it good job .
This is a really well built Camaro for sure
I’m not going to talk shit about it.. I’d love to have it.
Me too. Badass car
Gorgeous car, inside and out. I love the stance, the sound, everything about it. It just seems strange to me to have such an expensive build with fully custom everything and then still go with the kind of seatbelt that just goes over your lap. Skimping on safety just seems absurd to me, no matter the price point of the build. I'm sure there was a good reason why you guys did it the way you did, but I think a 3 point seatbelt would have been the better option for improved safety without compromising on daily drivability like a harness would.
I’m with you and have Dustin trouble about it. Otherwise a class build
Ab-so-lutely beautiful!!! Worth drooling over!
The only problem I have with these types of builds is. It makes it virtually impossible for a working-class blue collar which doesn't exist anymore person to own one. You have to be super wealthy. Or moderately wealthy. I get the Hours into the build. To enjoy something like this that's close to $500K just blows my mind. Again all do respect to the builders and everybody involved but wow!
true. but these guys set the bar up there for quality builds. its aspirational for all of us :)
@hungryalien No I respect the build by far, I don't respect the price tag. I just think it's ridiculous.
I hear ya but add up the parts and labor and it gets expensive. Maybe you can find someone that will sponsor all the parts and labor? If you do, let me know please
@AutotopiaLA With all due respect Shawn I get the build of the vehicle and what it takes. I worked on my 66 Caprice breakdown every other month back in the 80's. I totally get it. A lot of respect to the builder. But if I had that kind of coin I'd be traveling. That's just how it look at it. Great video stay gold!
The One Stripe matches the One Wheel Peel of the “600 hp to the wheels”
We all figured out the posi was shot when we watched the vid
Curious to what the conversation between y’all and the gentleman in the parking lot was lol
That’s Dean the owner. Everytime we do a burnout the running joke is “accelerator must’ve stuck again” lol
