I have a flat LED mask by another brand, and the new Currentbody 2 LED mask. I find the Currentbody 2 so comfortable to wear and it fits my face nicely. I’ve tried other brands hard shell type of masks and disliked them both as they didn’t fit my face very well. With the Currentbody 2 mask, I use the third strap too that sits on top of your head to give additional custom fit. The softness of the silicone of the 2 mask and how it already is shaped more to fit your face, it’s a more comfortable experience. I can use about 10 times before needing to charge again. From Amazon I bought a travel cosmetic train case by Rownyeon to store my mask in (instead of using the box it arrived in) and it fits perfectly. Had the mask about 2 months and I’ve had comments my skin is glowing. I enjoy the relaxing time every day I use it.
The third strap sits on top of your head!!! Ah ha! Thank you so much for this insightful comment, I love reading about how others are experiencing the same mask. So glad you chimed in here, I appreciate you!
@@HelenAvery hope you give the 3rd strap a try. It elevates the mask fit and adjustable to what feels best for you. For me, I use this mask the most due to its comfort.
Hi, considering one of these masks as a birthday gift for my wife. Her head is smaller than most women, so of the two masks, which one would be most suitable in your opinion? Thanks!
Hi! I feel like the Series 1 (the less expensive one) has more overall flexibility for different face sizes. That said, the Series 2 has an extra strap that goes on top of the head which has been a gamechanger for those struggling with fit. Sorry to make it more confusing? You could pop them that question over at CurrentBody's customer service? Still lots of time to buy as the Black Friday sale is good until the first week of December. Good luck!
@@HelenAvery Okay thanks! I suppose both are meant for the same head size overall and yeah, hard to know for sure and appreciate the advice on the return policy. The series 2 seems like the one I'd be leaning to.
You said you have been us sent the Les mask for 2 years, do you notice any significant difference in your skin? Did you get reduction in fine lines etc?
Hi! I'll be honest, it's so complex, isn't it? I'd love to lie and say YEAH i look amazing, but the fact is, I don't have a second "control" face that never used an LED mask, know what I mean? I'm definitely aging faster esp. because I went into early menopause for cancer treatment so no more estrogen for me :) I can say with the series 2 my skin is softer and all the skin flakes have weirdly disappeared...but I think aging-wise it's not turning back the hands of time. This is my most truthful and vulnerable answer, I hope it helps (though perhaps not, lol!)
Oh darn! I suspect it's not in the sale. I tried making a link for you, you could try this but if it doesn't work, I think it's cause it's not eligible. Either way, I appreciate you letting me know! go.shopmy.us/p-10181742
I have the Dennis G mask and want to upgrade to the current body series two but you mentioned before that it gets warm and could be a concern for hyperpigmentation. Ps can you confirm as I am brown and I don’t want to create more problems. My concern is purely anti aging. Thanks
Hi! I've never found the series 1 mask to either help or worsen my hyperpigmentation (I'm Asian so I am prone to melasma and brown spots, I have a stubborn one on my cheek). I don't know about the Series 2. If this helps, it feels kind of sweaty where it touches the skin, exactly like this reusable silicon face mask in my recent video th-cam.com/video/vkl2KSTW2sw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MI3EtRhuxDecyFIh&t=1855 at the 30:55 mark (in other words, at the end). It doensn't feel warm like when your face is in the sun. I know this is not a definitive answer but I hope it helps in explaining the "warm" feeling. Good luck with your research and thanks for leaving a comment and question!
The facelift perspective doesn't make sense 100% as it would not improve the overall skin quality. This still needs good care and includes devices for me. I want to keep my skin looking nice and not safe money to get a facelift when I hit bottom. The only hard shell LED mask I like is rhe one from qure, as it has a soft silicone lining. And I recently bought the lyma laser. What an investment. Still need to give it some time, but even the immediate results are more pronounced than with any LED mask I used so far.
Hmm yes, that is very perceptive and I would agree. I think there is a segment of mask and/or filler prospects that want to look younger (by a decade) and who aren't skincare focused. Realistically these interventions won't accomplish that, but I think ultimately we agree: it's about your goals. More importantly, you've now got me going down the Lyma laser rabbithole...I gotta look this up! Oh, and I appreciate your insight into the Qure--that's another popular one!
Keep in mind that a face lift is also not a once in a lifetime thing so if you do elect for one, the skin will eventually need another. (I’m not advocating over doing as i want a natural look and one can only have so many before looking like a wax figurine.) I also wouldn’t wait until my skin completely hit bottom before ejecting for one as I want a subtle benefit (“me just improves”), nothing that looks incredibly obvious. I think you can definitely address skin rejuvenation and glow as I do by using Tretinoin; I am getting anti aging benefits just from it. You mentioned devices. Does that include ab LED mask for you? (I love learning what works for others!) While Tretinoin has been great for reducing fine lines and wrinkles and giving my skin a healthy glow, it’s not going to stop the jowls that have begun with my turning 53. (And I’m not going to spend $6k on filler multiple times a year; I’d rather put that towards a future lift). Once jowls start, surgery is the way to lift. Devices may help to some extent but have to be used daily & won’t accomplish the same lift. Joel’s are so tricky too; apparently they’re the first thing to return after a face lift. 🤦♀️But I’m 53 & jowls are a huge concern. You may have very different areas of concern as we all do. I just wanted to share my perspective that there are options like prescription retinoids to accomplish the skin goals you mentioned if you weren’t interested in an LED mask and to learn if you use a mask on top of retinoid and if you’ve seen it adds a benefit? I haven’t heard resounding proof that LED masks increase anti aging more than a retinoid but many influencers reviewing them are much younger than I. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you.

I totally get it… and thank you! That’s very nice of you to say ❤
I have the 2 series and love it!!!!
