Hi this comparison is phenomenal, I wonder your advice on these masks vs the new restore mask, and jovs. They seem to have more bulbs and different options the jovs has laser but the coverage around eyes looks scarse. The I restore has a lot of bulbs. I want it for anti aging and redness. I would love your advise and guidance please!! I have the newkey mask that has several colors and wonder if it's useful for my 11 yr old daughter and acne or excema I don't know what ghese bumbs are they don't look like pimples more like bumps that have texture rough on face and arms. I love Dr. Rajani’s mask as well for anti-aging and have had no issue with worsening melasma on sensitive Asian skin due to it’s zero heat. I still get acne - when stressed or from eating poorly - and use the blue light as well albeit sparingly aka for 3 min after my red/NIR program.

Great video! I purchased the Rajani mask 6 months ago and I’m never going back. Not to mention their customer service is out of this world amazing. You can also turn it upside down and treat the chest and neck. Despite the pulse light research I’ve done, I still don’t find it worth it, personally. But Maysama serum is top notch. “In fact, while some manufacturers may present it as such, pulsed light is not the best option to use in combination with LED light treatment. Pulsing red light therapy is half as intense as continuous light, making it much less effective and of low therapeutic value in treatment.” (read from an article reviewed by Dr. Brendan Camp)

It is such a “soft” silicone material, it is very comfortable to use, the number of LED’s, the under the chin and 3 wavelengths. I find I use it every day mostly because it’s a very comfortable experience. And I’m with you about loving the clip on the controller!

    • @shari247peace
      @shari247peace 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@ the two straps meet in the back and secure by Velcro. The front of the straps connect to the mask by Velcro so each side easily adjustable. The top strap that fits on top of your head (optional) is also Velcro, easily adjustable. Because the silicone of the mask is so much softer and more pliable than any other mask I’ve used, I’ve found it to be very comfy. I don’t use the eye cups that came with it but you can if the light bothers your eyes.

I have the original CurrentBody face and dec. The neck and dec portion made a huge difference in my neck, but the neck and Dec portion was defective and had to be replaced twice. Penn, only bc you have the ear of Bev and can speak on behalf of your community, I’m wondering if she has any future plans to change the mold/material of the Maysama mask, add lights and perhaps some 1072 to more resemble the CurrentBody? It seems like if CB offered the ability to turn off the NIR/RL and pulsed light it would beat Maysama hands down. But if Bev left the old style mold behind in favor of the more comfortable and conforming mold with better nose and submental coverage, and perhaps added more lights and some 1072, THEY would! I’m already pondering replacing my Omnilux with one of these, but the thought that Maysama may listen to all of this feedback and upgrade their design in the near future gives me pause! Seems way less likely that CB would change anything considering theirs is much newer! TIA as always ❤

Thank you so much Penny! I had a few questions. I have neither acne nor cold sores, so my deciding factors will be more based on pigmentation and LED specs. Iam coding between the Current Body S2 and the Maysama. I a leaning toward the CB, but concerned about it making my two "sun spots" worse.
    1. I am a Fitzpatrick 1 or 2. I have developed two 1-2 cm square "sun spots" on my cheeks and above my eyebrow. Is this considered melasma as far as the possibility that NIR could potentially worsen it?
    2. Can you turn off the NIR on the Current Body S2? I'm guessing not since it was not mentioned as an option for people with melasma, but i didn't catch it in the video specifically mentioned.
    3. Has anyone tested the Maysama with a spectrometer for the LED levels between the bulbs?
    4. What is the efficacy difference between the number of LEDs in the Current Body S2 and the Mayssma?
    5. What is the difference in the irradiation of 30 and 45? Is it the treatment time?
    6. Can either of these LED masks be laid on the scalp to treat hair loss? What is the difference between an LED hat designed for hair loss and these masks? Is it just the hat or is there a difference in the LEDs themselves?
    Thank you!

Thank u, Penn. I feel like there’s a lot of confusion between the CB SERIES 2 and the CB 4-in-1, since they both have been released almost at the same time, while the last one offers more LEDS, those leds are more like bulbs (is it any difference in efficacy?) and the irradiance is better. It almost makes you think that it could be more effective than the Series 2. Could you please address it? Thank you 🙏🏼

I have the small Mito red light panel. I’ve had it for a couple of years and sit in front of it a couple of times a week for 10 minutes. Over these last two years I don’t think I’ve noticed any change. I’m amazed at the results others are saying that they see with the masks. I think for Christmas I’ll ask for the Current Body 2 mask. Not only does it sound like I’ll get better results, but it seems so much easier to strap it on and walk around and do what needs to be done rather than sitting in front of the panel. I also bought the Nira precision laser a couple of years ago and I can’t say that I have been consistent enough to see the results and again sitting in front of the mirror for 10 minutes everyday is time consuming. It does take me about 10 minutes because I am trying to get all the lines on my forehead, my crows feet, my 11’s and my lip area. I bought the Nira Pro thinking it would shorten my routine time. Although it has a wider area of coverage it seemed to take forever before you could push the button and zap the next area of skin. I got kind of frustrated with it and sent it back as I decided the Nira Precision was probably better in allowing me to target specific lines. As they say consistency is the key. I’m really not as impatient as I sound but often by the end of the day I’m often too tired to go through all the routines. Hope this helps you.

Thank you!! This helped me narrow it down. Seeing the 4 masks on you as well as turned on all next to each other is what sealed the deal! I’m upgrading from my 2 year old Omnilux to the Current Body. Love the clip and fit details, and the higher lights. If only it pulsed. But I suppose we can’t have it all. I’ll keep the Omnilux neck & chest piece until it dies. But the face one is so uncomfortable and not making any magic for my skin (lately it ever).

@ I figured I’d get pennies on the dollar for it once I resell it. If I can’t even get $25 I’ll try to pass it on to my dad or uncle because of their declining eyesight. There is a lot of new and somewhat controversial data and the benefit of red light for eyesight. My dad and my uncle both have eye issues and I’m planning on asking their doctors whether they would recommend red light as an option for them. Also, there’s local Buy Nothing facebook groups where I’ll offload it.

Thanks Penny! I recently bought Mayasama mask when my Omnilux broke ( I got 3 years out if it) having lights around the mouth is a game changer and I do feel it is better overall than the original Omnilux. I definitely noticed fewer lip lines. I do wish Maysama didn’t have the nose cut out and the fit could be tighter. Also why does she have 1 and 3 minute treatment modes? While it is nice to have the option of non pulsing and turning off near infrared, the treatment time options are annoying.

Good job Penn on explaining what each mask does. As for me I purchased the Higher Dose mask back when you recommended it. I think for a 57 yo old I have good skin plus I don't look my age except for the hollowness under my eyes. I'm so on top of my skincare since I was younger and even now I started using sunscreen since I was 41. Next purchase will be the Currentbody or Dr Rajani, I'm torn between the two. I am more concerned about jowls. I saw your previous video in incorporating the Photozyme DNA Youth Recovery serum when using the LED mask. I've been using the LED mask religiously now since I've purchased it. Thank you for all the informative videos you've posted for us. So appreciate you! 💓

However, you've noted that the current body mask was tested with a spectrometer and also provides uniform coverage. Your expert opinion would be highly appreciated!
