the "2nd life" only applies for small obstacles, such as trying to change direction on a straight path, getting too close to the ledge(this ledge 9:03) and tripping over short obstacle (such as the protruding tree root you showed in the video). for smashing into a wall, jumping into a hole, not ducking under the pillar, all of these are instant deaths

@@FatDino I looked at Temple Run 1, Template Run 2 and yours. What your version capture is the urgency in the first game. Fast-paced where the level is a small passage where three paths are open (left, center, right). Template Run 2 on the other hand misses this completely. Here instead on a bridge or lifted platform you run on a route guided by rocks on the side. Making the idea of why the runner just stops and walks sideways seems like a more logical solution.

As already commented, the "2nd life" via collision are only done when interacting with small obstacles. others are instant deaths (varied and funny-annoying deaths). But the "2nd life" also has an important game mechanics: The game gets gradually faster and faster as the run mileage grows. Hitting small obstacles (even on purpose) will instantly reduce the run speed of the player, allowing for more control.

    Looks quite amazing.
Just missing the power ups, a currency + a distance measurement system and you have your already done game app.
    Nice work pal.

This is quite impressive although I do have some suggestions, how about you put in different chasing animal for different stages for example you're being chased by a dino then you go into a cave that the dino can't enter but now you got to deal with giant bats chasing you and also how about adding some animations to the character's death for example the fire coming out of the statue burns but you don't die immediately instead it continues burning you while you slow down screaming for help until you die or the monster eats you, or you fall off a cliff, and then back to the monsters chasing you how about you still put in the monkeys (what I saw in the TH-cam caption) but this time the monster monkeys behave like monster monkeys example climbing walls, trees and other obstacle while still chasing you still got more ideas though

I remember something like immunity/invincibility and something like super speed, and a coin magnet that made all the coins float towards you, and I'm sure there were other things now you mention it!

bro this is so good. but the only thing is missing that the character doesnt look like it runs for its life. u should make him look like he runs so fast with the hands and legs movements and try to make the game a lil bit faster

Could you create a tutorial series on how you create some of the mechanics found in these projects please or perhaps just a longer version of these overview videos with more in depth explanations of how you went about your process to create such wonderful final products
