I think the point of the scenes was that he wasn't 2 different people. Everyone talks about the "two" personas; Anakin and Darth, as if someone isn't the sum of their worst and best parts. The force has 2 parts but it's still the same force, how is there balance if it's "one-sided"
They do have a Rebels scene of full Darth Vader fighting Ahsoka played by HOTD actress at the temple, but they may have cut it to focus on Hayden's Vader more, which is perfectly fine.
I feel that she needed that, honestly. She was surviving, not living. All because of her fear of what Anakin became. So he forced her to face that fear and come to terms with it like he is.
The difference between vaders character and Anakin was such a contrast for years. So when he was talking like vader with the red eyes that it kind of brought it all together and you know that hayden could easily do both.
I always loved how Anakin switched to Vader here. He originally tried to be Ashoka's older brother/mentor like he was in Clone War's, but realized that she missed the whole point of what he was trying to prove out of fear. He then switched over Vader, seems more like how an older brother has to forcefully correct a younger sibling. That he couldn't just beat the bush with her, that he had to force her to "cut" it down and face herself.
Vaders creation is partly cause of the jedi counsel in my opinion. They were so overly hard on Anakin and tried so hard to avoid what they feared, that what they feared came true, because they tried so hard. They essentially alienated him.
It didn't help that they propped him up as a savior of the force and talked about how important he was, but then treated him like crap and didn't trust him which he resented.
Oogway said it best, “one often meets their destiny on the path they take to avoid it.” By trying to save his wife, he caused her death. By trying to mitigate anakins power and treat him as a subordinate, they ended up giving him the push towards the very thing they tried to avoid.

I get it when people think Vader they think of the man in the suit. This was showing the dark side of Anakin which is Vader, the flash of him in the suit was cool.
I like to believe only Anakin can accomplish this feat as a Force ghost to embrace his light and dark side and even go as far as to manipulate the world between worlds and ferry a living conscience (Ahsoka) to this realm while she still "lives", on the edge of death in the living universe. It's a testament to how powerful Anakin really is. That's my interpretation of it all, at least.

Tbh I disagree about suit vader being weak. Suit vader imo is wayyy stronger. He’s older, patient, wiser, and completely insane. Sith power upgrade or not, there is a reason the council was not ready to promote him to master. Too impatient. Thats how Obi-Wan got him.
It's quite sad that ahsoka is now fighting against her former master. It's like the person you thought would never fall and would always stand tall as a symbol of all that is good...One day fell apart. And now you are left with no one and nothing but yourself.
What I do respect from Anakin is that he knew this moment was going to come and so he taught her how to defend against opponents like him. He was aware he was going to turn and try to kill her, but he still wanted to protect Ahsoka by giving her the tools to survive him.

It's ironic,but Anakin's personal combat style had much in common with Darth Bane's style,it was Djem So,with addition of multiple different elements from Ataru,and just like in Darth Bane's case, Anakin's style was focused on sheer skill,brute force,domination over the opponent, capturing the initiative in combat,
I like how initially there was a lot of criticism for Anakin's character and Hayden as a "Bad actor" But almost everyone was excited about this, I never watched Ashoka but, I did watch this whole scene. It was beautiful seeing Anakin teaching Ashoka the balance he achieved after he became a force ghost.

I think Hayden did an admirable job in the prequels. Remember was was forced to grow up, while having deep emotional problems, that the Jedi Order refused to help him with and even made it worse by making him scared and ashamed of that side of himself. Had they faced his problems with him and guided him, he would never have fallen to the darkside in the first place. Anakin in episode 2 and 3 is an immature, broken and scarred human, with immense power and no guidance. His performance was perfect Also, Anakin now is the Force. Hes replaced the Father, the Son and the Daughter. He is the representation of the force, both dark and light and can be either.

What do you think a lot of these reactors didn't understand ahsoka never faced a true sith lord, I was either maul who was given the the minimum training possible to be an effective assassin for sidious, same with Ventress, and skol is a dark Jedi, so going up against Darth Vader/Anakin is her first time going up against an actual sith lord, yes there was the fight between her and Vader on loathal even then her inexperience of fighting actual sith showed.

Suit Vader is not weaker. He is WAY more powerful in the dark side, as he is always in pain and always angry. He is also physically much stronger
