Theres a black coupe VTi on eBay same generation as this 87k up for £12995 I just want to say to who ever is selling if you read this comment you're an absolute weapon, thanks
I never managed to get rid of that brake judder even after changing the pads and having the discs skimmed, even followed the DSsports bed in procedure. Good to see the coupes still about. I owned it for nearly 20 years before selling up.
I reckon you should take my stop gap FN2 out for a few laps if we cross paths. Only modifications are FD2 intake, 70mm exhaust and mapped to suit. Vtec kicks in at 4krpm etc otherwise Stock suspension, PBS pads and Goodyear eagle tyres which are ok ish for a road tyre. It’s been my winter hack/track car while I look for another E36 and just did Spa and Nurburgring after Donington and Oulton Park with ease. For the worst CTR it’s a bloody laugh!!! I have zero complaints… even thinking about keeping it! 😂
I recently tried to purchase a B series engine and there were no offfers. Crazy rare these days. My old B16 was great fun and I regret selling it and back then it was dirt cheap. Now Im hanging to my H22 cause its the same technology really and you hardly find H/B/DOHC F engines.. There is something special about the old dual cams. The K is fun and all, but its even more expensive in the long run.
I'm building a B18C DC2 right now and B series is actually more expensive to build to top spec. It's not 2010 anymore! Stock unknown mileage GSR heads and bare blocks are ez 1k each now in the US, while I can get complete good running K's for ~1500$. I hear bseries is still cheap in the UK though.
@@Kowalskithegreat in my country a b series full swap was about1500 to 2000 and a k swap is around 2500 however it needs a lot of parts to fit in dc eg or ek and just general service is very expensive
Yes, I had to sell this coupe after owning it for nearly 20 years, money had to go towards a house move. Probably one of the best examples in the UK as it never saw salt and rain for most of its life.
Great content! I've always been a Honda boy!. Just the best bang for buck cars to mod. Currently I'm working on a Del Sol k20a2 swap and its been a fun car to dd.
Danny, we have a V6 turbo Vauxhall Signum we want to trackday. You ever see or hear of these lumps being driven on track? I don't hear much about them, apart from the police fuckin hated the V6 naturally aspirated version, and its a Vauxhall, so it might be a bit delicate as standard. I would be interested to hear from anyone whos seen one drive or blow up on track.
Probably had no thermostat in it 😂 cool runnings 💪 ...driving slow cars fast is brilliant I'd say better than driving a fast car slow ...and was it Josh's old 1 met a untimely end on a well known road near me some many moons ago
B16 a2 99EK' had since New 88k on clock spent 8k+ on LSD/ yell- Coil overs every thing tbh/ Compclutch / Skunk Manifold/+++ fast without any over top shite, Road Use 137mph FOR sale Top money Shrewsbury Sy3 9lf.
@@waynewayne-kv2fk About 5/6mm. I used to have a K24 steel sump for better clearance on my K swap. The welds on the aluminium baffles broke off twice so binned them off. Never had a problem with oil starvation, also running semi slicks. Get a drop in baffle if it concerns you 👍
@@PT82 yeah I hear the doors fall off a lot. I’ve got semi slicks on to , not ever gonna be full sending tbh just fancy a few days out in the car but of fun ect
For some reason this is way more entertaining to watch than a modern Audi?
B series best series
K series for the actual win. B series for the nostalgia that’s all
I’m just butthurt because I have a k series but I like B series better even though it’s not as good lmaooooo
Big agree
K series *nods to grandad B humouring him*
Yes Honda content is what I’m here for 🏁🫶
Yeaaaaah B series !
iconic sound effects as always Danny, I'm 7 seconds in and already laughing
Great video and to dive back into Honda world - now I‘m gonna say it - the world needs the DC2 back. There has got to be a way Sir
Can't beat revving the nuts of a B-Series, K might be better for power but there's just something about a proper oil burner.
That car is beautiful! They’ve never really been on the radar, always preferred Preludes, EK9’s, DC2s etc, but that is stunning.
Those B-Series sounds lovely, eargasmic high reving toy. Love it!! My pick is the B16 track focused Honda.
That B16 sounds silky smooth

The more people saving these old honda shell's the better imo, great examples!
B16 is life
I agree, for the flat out thrills, grips are more important. What a blast of a drive. I’d take the white coupe home
I never managed to get rid of that brake judder even after changing the pads and having the discs skimmed, even followed the DSsports bed in procedure. Good to see the coupes still about. I owned it for nearly 20 years before selling up.
The excitement is tangible. Very good video this! Need a B16 in my life
Omg no way they turned the 🔥emoji into a real thing

Hector is gonna love it.
See you in the championship, I will all so be taking part this season 🤙🏻
Great insight lad. Feel the fun too!
Wow, that engines redline is crazy high 😳 thoroughly enjoyed that Dan 👍😘
Engine management light ✔️ 05:30 , cool.
That's a shift light, hondata S300 feature. My dc2 does it at 8800
Great video Dan! Love the RPMs & mostly the Grips of this one! ...We really need to get you up past the 100K sub!
Audio good!
Ek honda my favourite but any honda content is 💯 %wicked

B series is ridiculously expensive in the US. I paid $4,000 for a b16 swap from JDM of California last year
HMO recently posted a b16 swap for $5,500. Sold the next day
Got to love red pole positions!
Honda content = best content!
I really do miss my EJ9. Supersonic Blue VTi. God damn I loved that thing. Excellent content, beautiful sound, lovely car. Cheers
Probably has a spoon thermostat lol. Good driving as always dan
Been waiting for a video on a b16 from you. Was hoping to catch you at a track day and let you have a rip in my b16 ek.
Engine management light as shift light is genius, leave some of the cool points for the rest of us.
Stop making me want to buy one!!!! I love the b series!
Car looks beautiful
Looks fast goes fast
Think this would be the only time I’d take the ej9 over a eg,lovely car everything just suits it nice not too much, very oem plus 😎
Ej9 for sure. Good vid Danny👍👍
Also I'd pick the EG I've owned a 92 VX that was a little beat up as well as a 92 SI that was mint and I miss them both!
In canada here for the 6th gens, the coupe is the most common around here.
Danny I used to work with the previous owner Jason. Thought he would never sell it!
Thought I recognised the reg plate immediately.

Pretty damn cool!
Is that an S2000 steering wheel? It looks kinda like one
You are correct 👍🏻
@@SnIpErStIg nice, they're a good size so an OEM+ upgrade for a civic 👌
Good video man. I want to see you review an MG ZS180
Lovely car too
Yes it’s been on the cards for too long !
Gave me NFSU2 URL Race vibes, love it.
Looked fun to drive
Coupe so good👍👍
i saw your video and the next thing i was doing was working on my ej6 😂😂
EG6 B18c or EJ6 B16a2 difficult choose but specs and tune allround the car is important too 😅 i am already happy with mine daily EJ9😂👍🏾
My fav series too jus too much money vs a stock kseries power
B18C4 is where its at
My mate had one in mint condition, crashed it on his first lap on the nurburgring😅
Lovely car that
You know it's more fun that a diesel golf
*angry Darkside noises* lol
BEST16 IS BEST.
Damn, my EK4 doesn't sound like that lol
I had the ferio with the b18c-r high comp pistons that was very very nice. So which one, i love coupe, but prefer the b18c.
Was this guy at Blyton on the 19th March...
Yep

Mudah2an kebeli B16, amin
How does a Coupe drive compared to a DC2?
feels super good, they are 2" longer wheelbase. Maybe it's the ultimate double wishboner
@@dannyDC2 Thanks man, buddy of mine is building an EJ6 coupe as well and always been interested how they compare to an Integra
Honda so could have made a type r coupe!
Wanna drive my Colt CZT when it’s done? 😂
We need to see u drive a Yaris GR
I have 2 videos on them 👀
Plenty of content this year sir
I love my FK2 but fuck do I miss the sound of N/A vtec ❤😎
EJ's are lovely 🥰 What was the wheel and tyre size?
It’s 16x7 with 195/50/16
Probably had no thermostat in it 😂 cool runnings 💪 ...driving slow cars fast is brilliant I'd say better than driving a fast car slow ...and was it Josh's old 1 met a untimely end on a well known road near me some many moons ago
It does have a thermostat in, surprisingly it’s oem, temp gauge has been like that since fitting an oversized ally rad
I would be happy with the eg Civic. Would just put better tyres on it.
think you found your new daily

What tyre specs did the ej6 have and what suspension?
It’s running YSR dynamic pro coilovers, hard race rear arms, white line rear roll bar and brace with yoko A048 in 195/50/16 👍🏻
Who's going to let him take their FD for a blip then....
RX7 or Civic

1.6 b ej

EJ9
probs K24 k20 top end swap further down the line though
@@robinskeppstam i dont think its an ej9
