I'm so glad to own one of these cars. They may be classic now, they're the new classics and establish Honda as the brand that led the way in technology for this era.

The B18C engine takes me back to my younger days, a much simpler time, and will always be music to my ears.👌 Those were some gnarly roads with a surprise waiting around almost every bend. @@dannyDC2 well. Yours might be legit, but I’ve got exactly the same polo Ralph Lauren hat as you (the beige kinda coloured one) and it cost £6.99 on eBay so I don’t think it’s legit 🤣

Were you even able to hit redline? That’s the best engine, I know everyone will say K series is king, but the sounds and engine vibration and VTECH cross over that you feel in the seat and in the steering wheel is just such an experience. Great video.
I had 1.6i-vt, 1616 and the 1.4gl. Crx siR and a 1616. If only I knew of there price rise back in the days 😓

I've been driving rear wheel drive cars for most of my driving life, but you're pricking my interest in some of these front drive Hondas.

There's a couple short stretches of nice road on the other side of the track if you ever find yourself in the area again.
I had a 91 si with a b18c5 and a 75 shot, was very fun. Suprised alot of high end cars.

I bought my 1980 civic what feels like a million years ago with plans to b16/18 swap it. Last time I mentioned that at a cars and coffee some kids laughed and asked why not k swap. That was the day I became old. K swaps are fun and all but they don't have the personality, the "music" as Danny said, of the old b motors.
Sounds fantastic, makes me want a Honda swapped Elise even more!

I had an 89 ef si with a 92 b17 the v-tec crossover was so loud it would scare the crap out of people next to me when I down shifted. Now i have a 95 eg si with a b18c.
Oh for the noise of the B18C. Ive had my integra 20 years next march, whilst yours is solid with no engine mines rotten with 1 🤣
The civic has nostalgia and i do love the J A pan , but i think im bmw thru n thru. I do love to see older cars though cos it means the owner / driver cares about driving. general folk are too quick to just bin things and get new shite.

The problem with all the good roads around there is that they are always super busy unless you go out at 5am. The lanes are good on a supermoto (or similar) but too small for cars 🙁

Weird to think of it as a thirty-year-old car, hard to get your head around, it's only 10 years away from qualifying as a Vehicle of Historical Interest, and then it's free of tax and MOT check, greater times ahead for the beast

Had the same steering problem with my mini at Brands Hatch (Mini fest). All sorted now, but at the event the fucker needed tracking and alignment doing ... I was driving straight at 2 from 12 on the clock for example lol

Classic Honda honks. You need shorter legs though, they seem to get in the way our your steerings.

Pretty neat to see a old ef rippin.. my first car was the zc dohc ef and later on after da6.eg6.dc2r.eg9 I managed to own a white genuine ef9 which was awesome then a 98 ek9 love the b series engine crossover another level
