- Hi everyone, today's baking recipe is spring onion bread - garlic dinner rolls.
Note: add 125ml of warm milk to the dough. Sorry for missing text in the video.

Spring Onion Bread
Dough
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
1½ tsp instant dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 large egg
42g (3 tbsp) butter, melted.
125ml (1/2 cup) milk
1 tsp salt
Butter mixture:
1 stalk spring onion, finely chopped.
3 tbsp softened butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic granules/powder
Dried parsley for topping
Baking time: 20 minutes
Baking temp: 200°C, preheated oven.
An oven may vary

250g (2 cangkir) tepung serbaguna
1½ sdt ragi kering instan
1 sdm gula pasir
1 telur besar
42g (3 sdm) mentega, lelehkan.
125ml (1/2 cangkir) susu
1 sdt garam
Campuran mentega:
1 batang daun bawang, cincang halus.
3 sdm mentega cair
1/2 sdt garam
1 sdt bawang putih butiran/bubuk
Peterseli kering untuk topping
Waktu memanggang: 20 menit
Suhu memanggang: 200 ° C, oven yang sudah dipanaskan.

Is the butter in the flour mixture salted or unsalted?

Make it healthy use whole wheat flour instead. The vegetarians can eliminate the egg and use 1-2 TBS of thick hung curd/yoghurt. The egg wash can be changed to milk or better still live culture buttermilk. Add some mozzarella cheese and the taste factor will go through the roof.

Hi add the milk before you mix the dough, it doesn't matter which ingredient you add first.

Is kneading for 3 minutes enough?
If using a hand mixer like I did is enough. If using standmixer you may take few minutes longer until reach the same texture.

Thanks for the feedback. I use very little plastic wrap to see how the dough proofing without open it.
Tell your mind to supermarkets or other industries why they still keep using tons of plastic.
Measurements in "cups, tsp, tbsp, etc" are imprecise and obsolete. the modern bakery uses "grams" to measure the amounts of ingredients ..
I know about that, have been trying to use metric measurement on my recipes in the past, but there is a lot of demand to use cups.
