OMG I FINALLY FOUND THIS!
I'm from Indonesia and my family used to live in abu dhabi for 3 years. I had a neighbor next door from kuwait who always gave us a tray full of bread for every Friday morning, so for 1 year my mom always do the same and send her own pudding creation to our neighbor, but too bad they moved after a year of getting to know each other, and we forgot to asked about the recipe. I was 7 years old back then, so I didn't recall anything about the name of the bread but I always remember how it taste.
Thank you for the recipe, it brings back my childhood memories, ive tried the recipe yesterday and taste the same as the one that my neighbor made. I will definitely make this bread again and give it to my mom once i go back to my hometown ❤️
Aww that’s soo nice to know that you found a similar recipe. Thanks for letting me know. I feel very happy 😊

Made this recipe and totally love it. I am not an expert at baking and look for the simplest of recipes that give great results and yours is simple enough for me to try. My first time making any type of bread and it was amazing. Rewarmed in microwave and it was still the softest! Thank you for sharing. This is a keeper for sure

So glad that you liked it. Thank you for the feedback 😊
Hi, how many mins you rest the dough?
@@beauteous_eney548 hi there. Perhaps for 30 mins. Its summer here so it double in size pretty quick. Yeast doughs are forgiving like this, you see them grow, you go to next step!!
Hope it helps.
Nice 👍👍👍👍👍9
Thank you 😊
Thanks dear for sharing with us, i tried it yesterday but its so soft and yummy

Allhamdullilah i finally made this today , thank you sm for putting such an easy recipe on here, my sister and parents rlly liked it >.< if ur in America as well, and ur oven is in Fahrenheit put it on 365° :))
Very happy to know that you liked the recipe. Thank you for the feedback 😊
Made this today. Possibly the softest dough I've ever made. Absolutely loved it! My yeast unfortunately didn't rise but it still turned out soft and fluffy
Thank you for the feedback. Glad that you liked it. If your dough rise properly, the dough will turn softer. Hope you’ll try it again. 😊👍🏼
A little suggestion: Try mixing the salt in the flour. Salinity kills yeast.
That’s a great suggestion. Thank you ♥️
This looks delicious....can we use ready made pizza dough for this recipe?
Love your kitchen crockery...💕
Yes, you can. But it won’t be as soft. Thank you for the compliment ♥️
@@Savoryandsweetfood thank you for your reply...i will.make the dough you have made🥰
Hi i love your recipe I've been making alot it's perfect i wanted to make this for my dad can i use whole wheat instead of white flour?
Hello, thank you for the kind words. Maybe you can mix both wheat and white flour
I havea feeling, this would be really good with galic butter spread on the top while still hot...yummy!
Yess, that would be niice
Assalamu'alaykum.. 'afwan, did you use the basic measuring cup? Because it seems to me the milk and the oil is much more than what's written in the recipe. Jazâkillahu khayr for the recipe ❤
Walaikumsalaam
I used the regular 250 ml measuring cup. Hope youll give it a try. Wa iyaki khairan ♥️
Looks tempting. Can you tell quantity for 2 cups flour ?
Use 2 1/4 cups of flour and make with half quantity of all ingredients
The birds's sound is real or on the tape? What kind of birds are?
Thank you for the recipe!😊
It’s not real. I just inserted birds sound clip in the video :)
Good recipe.. when Storting extra dough in freezer, it should be after it had risen, or as soon as you knead it?
Sorry for replying late. You can freeze it before the first rise. Later after defrosting, let it rise well before using.
@@Savoryandsweetfood thank you
I'm 2000 years old and I made this for my parents
Nice! I wonder how old your parents would be. 😅
Salaam! Thanks for the recipe. What kind of mozzarella would work best here? Would fresh mozzarella be too wet? Thanks!
Walaikumsalaam
I used the regular prepackaged mozzarella cheese. I have never used fresh mozzarella ever so I don’t know the texture of it.
How do i store the leftover dough?can this dough be used for making other baking items like pizza n all?
You can store it in a zip lock bag either in fridge or freezer. Yes, you can use it for pizza as well.
Ramadan kareem💓💓 i wanted to ask you how long do yoy knead the dough for? I had to knead it 25min by hand! And im worried its too much :((
Ramadan Kareem! You can knead the dough for 8 minutes. Knead until the dough is smooth. Hope it turned out good for you in the end.
Hey. Can you tell me how many this recipe makes? Whats the serving size?
You’ll get about 15 fatayers
🧀😋😋😋
Hey Ramadan kareem❤ can we use normal yeast instead of instant yeast?
Sorry for the late reply. You can use normal yeast but proof it first and then add. You cannot add it directly to the flour.
Asslamualikum
Sister please tell me ingredients measurement in grams. Sometimes measurement may vary.. Please reply...
Walaikumsalaam
I’ll update whenever I make this again
Could you make pizzas with this dough recipe?
Yes, but it will be more like a fluffy bread base
What kind of oil? Appreciate the update
I used corn oil
Can i freeze them after all risen? If thats only my option?
Yes, you can.
Hello. How much grames is the cup??? Please
Hi, waiting to try this recipe....here 1 cup measurement is 250 ml.
Yes. 👍🏻
Milk used is warm or cold and also do we have to keep the dough for rising ? Pls clarify
You can use warm milk. Yes, you have to keep the dough for rising.
@@Savoryandsweetfood Thank you so much for replying 💕
Hi Dear...Should I let it rest before putting into oven or not necessary?
It would be better if you let it rest
Can i follow the same temperature and time for air fryer also?
Yes In shaa Allah 👍🏼
Hiya, may I ask if you used warm milk/water? Or room temp?
She answered in an old comment that you can use warm milk. Water should be good to go at room temperature, I think.
@@kaokurosawa3872 Cheers!
To make the dough would be okay to replace the oil by lard. I have been reading a bit about the difference between them and I'm in favor for lard.
I’ve never used lard before so I am not sure about it. But if you think it will work go for it. 😊👍🏼
Can i use palm oil for the dough? Or shortening?
I’m not sure because I didn’t try with these alternatives
Do we need to preheat the oven first?
Yes
Can we skip the yogurt
Will it affect on fluffiness?
Yoghurt will make the bread softer
Can I use sunflower oil
Yes you can
Which mozzarella cheese brand did you use?
Where you a NIMS Dubai student by any chance?
I use Al Marai mozzarella cheese
Yes😊
Hi Nimsian!! Which batch were you? And must say.. too good recipes with good vibes and backgrounds!!
How many do these measurements make? Just the 5 shown in the video
No, you’ll get about 15 of them
Do i need to rise again the dough before putting in the oven?
And how i can store in the fridge
Dude she ignored u
I’m sorry I missed your comment. You can let it rise for 15 minutes before baking. I store it after baking and reheat and serve when needed
@nargisbano8703 😒 why?? I just didn’t see her comment.
Made this yesterday. Used it as a pizza dough base. It was the best pizza everrrr. So extremely soft and tasty. Had leftovers and had it today and it was still soooo soft 🫶🏽 thank you!
That is a great idea to use this dough as pizza base. Very happy that it turned out good for you. Thank you for the feedback 😊♥️
Hi how many fatayers does this recipe make?
You’ll get about 10 fatayers
Don't have any milk at home now...can I substitute for something else? 🌸
I guess if you don't use milk, the dough will not be as soft and fluffy. Can use water as milk substitute. Thats the only downside. Ive made this recpie 4 times and the dough is just gorgeous to work with (and i think its because of milk).
Try it, you wont be disappointed.
@@bluesunnyday Thank you for your response. I was really craving it that day and didn't end up making it. But thank you for reminding me! I will make it soon and follow the recipe, I'm sure it will be good!

Why do I need to add a baking powder?😅
I tried making this and struggled with proportions so I needed my mum to help me out a bit 😢 the dough was so sticky so I went through a whole bag of flour 😅
Oh no! Im sorry you had trouble with the dough. Hope the end result was good
