That map is so stressful, that giant hallway with just 360 degrees of murder holes immediately filled me with the desire to get off the X. The great lighting really cranks it up a couple notches. When is your department going to allow you to perform dynamic entry with the Bearcat?
this is almost as scary as urban combat that happens in the real world.. The murder holes are definitely realistic and sometimes the tactics you learned just get thrown out the window
I wish somehow more games did the procedural generation thing that 6 days in fallujah does. it completely changes the replayability. Ready or Not would be perfect for that
The quality n environmental storytelling of the dlc maps are great. Can’t fault it there my biggest critique is the size of the maps that lead to an over designs of many doors many choke point etc I would of preferred 6 smaller Maps then 3 big ones. After running them 2-3 I get fatigued from wanting to commit to running them again On top of that the enemy Ai still getting boners from shooting at you rather than using various ways to preserve their life is still an issue, but I have noticed them taking hostages more often. I hope in future dlcs they scale down their maps to small - medium size, clean and concise level design. The gas station, streamer map and the house with the 3D printed stuff in the roof are are the levels I like the most
they need to work on the existing maps too. that valley of the dolls mission, half the characters in the map look like they came out of a 2005 videogame. like so many of the female characters in the game look bad. they had good female characters in the beta i don't know why they got rid of them
The enemy still have a habit of strafing full speed through a doorway and instantly gunning you down with Olympic tier accuracy. It makes sense for them to have good reactions and accuracy if they're watching a door but I think they are just as fast and accurate when moving at full speed, which is wacky to say the least.
the real problem is that "hardcore" and "realistic" tactical games are very niche, but also demand far more resources and more difficult to implement mechanics. such as the reloading system.
Imo well done dlc and maps, had fun in all of them, adding mods that increase the suspect count fits for all 3 as they are huge and could have a low amount of people so u end up clearing for 20 minutes for maybe 1-2 suspects, and allso using mods can fix some of the bugs in the game, performance wise yes a bit worse but for me atleast it is still playable, sure kind of dumb u need community mods to fix the bugs but it's better than no fix. Otherwise great dlc
Even if content creators don't "owe" us transparency, which is arguable in itself because they make money off our views, doesn't make it morally okay to just not say anything about it for ages and leave people guessing.
Glad to see that Ironman is still hopefully coming down the pipe. :) I really enjoyed the content even if I haven’t played RoN in a while. Still haven’t finished an Ironman but I’m rusty AF. lol
This comment section was really mid. Just be stoked that you get someone as knowledgeable as Pairs uploading free content for us. People pay thousands of dollars to learn this shit and get an inside look into the mind of a real-world operator. Sure, this is in a video game setting but the information is much the same. What more can you really ask of a busy dude with a wife and kids.
1.0 really ruined my experience in ready or not but now with the AI fixed and have less damage and less accuracy on maps depending on their lore but still the AI being smart and dangerous. I really enjoy this DLC and its pretty good. I know optimization got worse again but I did mange to fix it by lowering "Post Process and Anti-Aliasing Quality"
soo the performance problems are gone or not cause when i played and walked in lobby i had massive frame drops some maps too at specific locations in the map
Yeah dude. Had some issues running in safe mode and DX12. DX12 seemed stable, though. Thanks, buddy. Great hearing from you and hope you're doing well! 🤘
DLC seems OK, but only ok imo. It being 10 bucks is great but 3 maps and 3 guns for over 6 months just doesn’t seem that exciting. Especially 2/3 guns are both pistols. Meh. Still love the game
I remember at an industry range day the FN guys were offloading all of their swag on me because no one was interested in shooting any of their pistols. I'm still finding 509 patches in the bottom of bags.
I was happy with the 1.0 release. The friendly AI updates, new station, and campaign improvements were sufficient for a 1.0 release. Still wish the game was more SWAT 4-like and less massive gunfights in near-unwinnable situations. I did have some bugs with the DLC. Took a bit to get going and had to fight crashes for a while.
@@ControlledPairsGaming Sorry, this is random but please be ready for Door Kickers 2, I heard there's a high chance it's 1.0 Release and Campaign is coming in autumn. The reason I got hooked to your channel anyway.
It’s better since the update that came out one or two before the DLC released, but the AI still has inhuman reaction speeds and the ability to see you in pitch black across the map or through foggy glass panes. The wallbangs are much less prevalent and their general accuracy has been reduced, not as much as I’d like but it’s better than 1.0.

I think the amount of radio silence in tactical shooter space is really damaging for the health of industry.

@@DatAsianGuy no doubt but i rather have a functional game with an actual gameplay loop rather than a tech demo and promise of what's to come.

Too many key binds. If they wanted to add this onto console it would be a MASSIVE downgrade.

It is time for this game to have PvP mode.

its still not as good as before the dlc, so not
I liked the iron man series but i get keeping up with the game trends and not sticking to a game that isn’t getting a lot of buzz
Damn, i have been starving for RoN content from you, hella ready for more of the ironman content!

What's wrong with FN pistols? 😢
Lol nothing. It's just not a Glock, Sig, or 2011.

Glocks 😍😍@@ControlledPairsGaming

Yay i love the ironman campain hooray

Will you continue to play the ready or not single player campaign?
i want buy it sadly i dont have any friend to play with it
Game is riddled with bugs now unfortunately. Really didn’t meet expectations for 1.0 and it’s barely keeping up. We had a good thing going in beta tho

To film and edit an episode is probably 12-24 hours of effort, yeah. Will work on getting more efficient so I can meet your standards.
Is the ai still cracked with this update ? I stopped playing because i was getting shot through walls and domed instantly by methheads.
