Honestly, Nowhereaki SWAT absolutely cleaned up on this mission. From your Militiamen somehow managing to push into the compound and keep a cool head despite that crazy suppressive fire when I was expecting a massacre, to Sameer's badass demonstration of CQC with an LMG, to even the hitherto useless shield guy managing to stop multiple rifle rounds at 37:20. Plus Akeem's insane shot to seal the deal. I've been having a ton of fun beating the odds with SWAT, I really hope we get more maps built for them. Hopefully more cool weapons too! I'm holding out for a proper PKM. Also, if you want to read more on how Iraqi SWAT, SOF and regular army guys actually fought ISIS, *They Will Have To Die Now* by James Verini is absolutely essential. Verini embedded with Iraqi units during the push on Mosul and recorded what an absolutely insane fight it was. The Iraqi people are extraordinarily resilient and their soldiers are extremely tough. I can't recommend it enough.
In the beginning: "they are dug in and prepared to die" A few seconds later: "if they going to have another s-bomber im going to actually cry!" Great video, chief! :)
Crazy mission. Apparently I was so lucky with this one. Bomb exploded in the background of the summery of the mission killing everyone hahaha
Good show. I swear one of your DK2 videos teaches more about IPB in CQB/Asymmetric warfare than 4 months at the school house in Huachuca. That last s-vest was a raw deal.

Reminds me of the hostage situation in Beslan in 2004. Except it had way more hostages and more insurgents and turned out real bad because of that. Sad story.
In my playthrough, I positioned an element on the right side of the door. Support-by-fire from the gate. The element throws two flashbangs inside, and the support-by-fire shoots from behind the gate taking out all of the executioners and their support. The element moves in, freeing the hostage and securing a foothold in the front, throwing frags into the sandbagged area. In the meantime, I blow up the gate on the far left and establish a support-by-fire into the classroom. Back on the right side I clear the windows on the far right, and then fire a LAW at the opposite wall. That allows me to have a clear line of fire into the right most corridor. The rest of the game is slowly pushing into the structure with buddy teams and interlocking sectors of fire. I made a ton of mistakes in a lot of places, I wish this game provided a little bit framework for buddy team movement (e.g. you could have a 2-man buddy team with correct positioning of the security man) with being able to order things like hi-hi or hi-lo or strongwalling techniques. I feel like I'm constantly fighting to keep micromanagement and I leave sides of the doo What I do love about your video is that you accept the consequences and push through to achieve as much as possible. So I finally got this game last week. I've seen a good deal of these videos, which is how I found about the game, but it's been over the course of a year or 2 and so don't really remember exactly how these maps go. So each run is essentially blind. I go into these with the intention of watching you clear after I've beat a level to see the differences. This is the first map where I haven't been able to beat it and specifically looked for your video on it to see how I might do it better. Needles to say I was rolling the whole time, and waiting for your priceless reaction when you discovered the ass tone of bombs. I'm taking Samir in tomorrow for another run lol
I was logging on to doorkickers while I was watching this and when I got to the Home Screen the guy blew himself up in your game and I was like, “yup, not playin that map.”
When I did this one, I banged the first two from the main gate, fragged the two behind the sandbags straight away and made entry immediately through the front door, clearing the office and the two bathrooms. Probably looked great on the news camera. Once you hold that point they tend to fall pretty easily. The school yard is pretty easy, peek a sharpshooter out and take one of the guys in the fortified sandbags then pull back and wait with some guys pointed at the gate as a choke point. When they stop coming through the gate just send the sharpshooter out to take another one out and repeat, mainly focus on the inside because once that it taken the yard falls pretty easily.
The missions where you have a hostage that is killed after a certain amount of time are so difficult. You have to prioritize speed and that may require you to take some risks and potentially lose some men that would otherwise make the operation a little easier
I have a question (stemming from the original door kickers that i have on my phone but i'm sure it extends into doorkickers 2 as well): what do you consider when choosing your loadout for your troops; or do you just leave their weapons selection default? 🇯🇲love the content CPG
Having watched all of his doorkickers content, I would say he chooses his gear based on size and layout if the map primarily. For example if there is long range engagements or open areas, taking a marksman rifle or m4 platforms with longer range optics is a good idea. On the contrary, if you are going to be in tight close quarters combat, a sniper rifle or LMG may not be good. As for handhelds… if you intelligence indicates there is going to be civilian population in the area, you will want more flash bangs or stinger grenades even. However if your intelligence and analysis of the map leads you to believe it is almost if not all occupied by enemies, you will want more frag grenades, 40mm, etc to crank up the violence of action. Some choices are more obvious like taking night vision if it is a night map 😂
Persoanally for me in the first dk game I would give some of my main force with m4, 416, Honey Badger, MCX with front vest (i forgot). Some heavy guy with SAR18 and the best possible armor. I would bring Mk17Longbarrel for some long range if the map is big. Some with Vector, MP7, P90, S12K, a shield to work on close quarter space. Not to promote but you can watch some of door kicker video i uploaded on my youtube channel to get some idea, most of them are modded tho but theres some vanilla. Also sometimes in modded door kicker i would pair a big shield with the best armor guy with m249 and the best armor guy, works really well
I personally give my troops the weapons that typically have the best crit chance. My argument is that it's worth to have a chance for your troop to 1 hit kill an enemy target than to exchange a few rounds and potentially have your guys injured. With the OG spec ops squad, I prefer the Mk. 17.
"Alright, new priority: Don't let the freaking bomb explode!" Last time I laughed this hard on one of your videos was when you went for a two-man clear in a bathroom when a suicide bomber was inside.
Great vid! Poor Akeem and Samir! I'm genuinely trying not to be an ass, but this run felt a little sloppy for you. I really enjoyed this map, and honestly, it didn't feel that hard. I did it in two tries - first one ended on exactly that last suicide bomber, but I did not have that many losses. In the second, I just saved a bang for that final room and things went OK. Now, most of what I do in doorkickers I learnt from you, so please don't take this as criticism. You could have taken more bangs or frags instead of the molotovs (those are fun but not really useful here). You can take plates for the militia, which helps a little (although I got this level 3* without using militias - I played it before I understood how they work. The front door hostage can be solved with a bang (and a frag further in to take care of the two other guys). I think you also took a little too long on the courtyard, which left your clearing element isolated for quite a long time. You also under-used your shield guy - I know you don't like em, but if you got em, you can use them.
"I should probably stop throwing frags with an unknown number of bombs in this place." This is the tactical thinking I watch for. Seriously though, it is nice to see how you react when essentially your entire plan goes tits-up off the start line.
When I was doing this mission, I threw a smoke on top of the first hostage, ran him back to extract and sent a 4-man element right past the enemies and into the room on the left.
I didnt have that much trouble with this map. Had my SWAT guys throw bangs next to the executioner and HE behind the far barrier then push on the front door. You can clear the majority of them and get the hostage from the doorway. After that they pushed the building and held the hall. Then I had the whole militia team attack the right, with smokes allowing them to push through to cover, then HE along the entire sandbag line before the smoke disappears. From there the militia pushes from the right while SWAT pushes the interior.
This video is my current Favorite Video on TH-cam. I enjoyed it 100X more with every bomb discovered. RIP Samir :D I saw this as suggested viewing after having tried this mission and I needed to see how you did it coz it was borderline impossible when I tried it. Still have not figured out how not to get the TV hostage killed.

Sameer, the RPK God. He wasn't the hero that we wanted, but he was the hero that we needed.
45:03 had me rolling XD
Persoanally for me in the first dk game
I would give some of my main force with m4, 416, Honey Badger, MCX with front vest (i forgot).
Also sometimes in modded door kicker i would pair a big shield with the best armor guy with m249 and the best armor guy, works really well
Largely, my kits are built with "threat", "access", "speed" where "operational TEMPO" is highest priority. "Get In - Get Out" is my dogma.
He chooses his loadouts by what's suitable for the situation
I personally give my troops the weapons that typically have the best crit chance. My argument is that it's worth to have a chance for your troop to 1 hit kill an enemy target than to exchange a few rounds and potentially have your guys injured. With the OG spec ops squad, I prefer the Mk. 17.
"Alright, new priority: Don't let the freaking bomb explode!"
Last time I laughed this hard on one of your videos was when you went for a two-man clear in a bathroom when a suicide bomber was inside.
34:55 CPG When he wakes up in a cold sweat at 3:00 A.M:
Bye far you best commentary! I laught out loud multiple times. Pairs, you made m'y night
Dude, what the f was this?
How many S vests, hostages and bombs do you want?
Map: yes
Watch as controlled pairs experience the six stages of grief in half an hour
42:20 Back to the land of the logical hahaha nice one!
That ending is fucking dope man hahaha
this mission reminds me of the Beslan school massacre. absolutly impossible to do without a shit ton of casualties
i was dying at every time he said "i will cry if" becuse i played this mission before he uploaded and i was like oh sweet naieve child
I respect the swat team for not surrendering early and restarting
The end of this video😂😂😂 I immediately subscribed
DK2 Needs to fix the GL minimum arming distance issue. Grenadiers should not be blowing themselves up like that.
Well, I didn't expect that ending.
Although, I've should have at the rate this mission was going.
I swear this has to be a comedy, I've never seen this channel before but this was the most hilariously inept clearance I've seen 🤣
i was hiding the remaining video time so i felt that my dude.
Every other Doorkickers 2 video by Controlled Pairs: "They're here!"
This Doorkickers 2 video by Controlled Pairs : "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
SAMEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRR NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That moment hit me like a ton of bricks lol good stuff man keep it up! this game looks awesome
"I should probably stop throwing frags with an unknown number of bombs in this place."
This is the tactical thinking I watch for. Seriously though, it is nice to see how you react when essentially your entire plan goes tits-up off the start line.
Love how this turned into saving private sameer 🤣👌
When I was doing this mission, I threw a smoke on top of the first hostage, ran him back to extract and sent a 4-man element right past the enemies and into the room on the left.
I've never heard Pairs make that sound before... hope your alright lol.
The leader and shield man prove that darwinism is a brital, ever present spectator on the battlefield
I love your long mission DK videos. Great commentary. “Nooooooo!” Lol
Having played this map already, 33:37 really made me howl, can’t wait to see how this pans out.
I love that the leader blew himself up right in front of the news camera! Someone give that cameraman a raise!
I laughed like 45 mins for every situation you encountered 🤣🤣🤣
Just won this map yesterday and now I find out I could have had 3 extra militia...
Your leader couldn’t live with the guilt after letting the hostage die.
That was absolutely mental. Way to fight to the bitter end.
I guess Sameer has redeemed himself from breaking the car.
Oh man, that was great to watch!!! I’d love to see you play this in coop, with areas spread among players.
RIP Sameer. You were a true hero among men.
5:59 Controlled Pairs having a flashback to the toilet suicide bomber incident
This video was a roller coaster of emotions 😂 please make more of them again!!!!
35:10
45:33
22:23
36:44 those "nooo" moments hah
This video is my current Favorite Video on TH-cam. I enjoyed it 100X more with every bomb discovered. RIP Samir :D
I saw this as suggested viewing after having tried this mission and I needed to see how you did it coz it was borderline impossible when I tried it. Still have not figured out how not to get the TV hostage killed.
Man, Samir not only breaks the car, but he breaks doors as well!
Lmfao what a video! I really like the more personal cheerleading you where doing for sameer, that was hilarious 😂
Grenadier had ONE job
This is the first time that I was emotionally attached to an Operator/Militia. RIP Sameer
This whole thing reminds me of what Captain Cold from The Flash used to say. "Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails, throw away the plan" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the funniest video I’ve seen in a while 😂😂 you earned a sub
