Sungods are my go to now, not only because of quality but the warranty is unsurpassed. My new puppy literally destroyed one of my pairs of renegades and I told the company straight out what happened and sent photos and they sent me a new pair rush shipping, unbelievable company, already ordered a pair of tempests since then I customized that I'm waiting for
I'm big fan of Roka, especially the "Oslo" for running. They're obviously not the best for value, but they are cheaper than oakleys(they offer lots of discounts aswell) but on par in terms of quality and tech imo. I've had mine for over 2 years running alot and they still look new, not a single scratch or anything on the lenses.
Hi Guys thanks for the review, I cannot complain. Just a couple of things the lenses are Nylon Zeiss lenses, which are actually a premium over the Oakley lenses. As Oakley use Polycarbonate. Sounds like I need to send you a pair of our Ultimates to trial, give me a shout. Apart from that great video seen so many poor reviews
I prefer Oakley all day. Excellent quality, craftsmanship and materials from the cheapest to the most expensive eyewear in their line. Some even are prescription ready. Cheap sunnies are for those on a budget may not have the best in care for them. I’m all for a deal when it comes to running accessories and equipment. But it’s quality for me.
Managed to get a pair of Oakley Plazmas for £80 on sale on wiggle recently. Oakley’s lens technology really is a cut above most brands but I struggle to justify the premium, but if you hunt around for sales you can get them at a price that’s actually value for money.
JFI Ours are Nylon Zeiss Lenses, which are as good if not better than the Oakleys. The current Mirror range have a amber base tint perfect for trail running as good for contrast
Very limited amount of lenses tested personally, but I have to fully recommend the Sungod brand and for me the Velans. It’s not cheap but not insanely expensive, the lens is super high quality, it’s comfortable and light and the best part is they’re customizable to suit you without paying extra (besides for actually better lenses and the like). Lifetime warranty and they have a unique shipping program where if you pay just a little extra the first time you get free worldwide shipping the rest of your life
I've been trying to find a really solid review of the Engo, what they can and can't do for data screens available to be pushed to the HUD. Especially how they work within garmin style ecosystem. The other key question is how well would someone (40+) with long-sighted (presbyopia) vision handle that HUD? I've been terrified to buy a pair and immediately realize I can't make out any of the HUD display data...other than an annoying blur.
All these look heavy. I want glasses the are practically weightless. By the way, what is very/super light???? It is like someone that tells you to go down the road a little bit and take a left. Not too helpful. Good vid but wish actual weight was included.
The Classics and the Tempests are both active lifestyle sunglasses that work for running. The Sungod Ultras are sports sunnies made for running, we cover those too.
@@TheRunTesters According to their website, where you can sort by activity, the Classics and Sierras are the running focused units, still for lifestyle use, as you say. There was a complaint about slipping in the video and I wonder if the running-focused ones might be better.
I think it’s a fairly arbitrary distinction within the active lifestyle range tbh. They all work fine for running, including Tempests, but the Ultras have a more secure fit
@@TheRunTesters good to know. Just going by what the manufacturer says, to be honest. The Ultras are definitely great but they are a slightly different use case; more performance focused for coverage and anti glare cure but not as lifestyle focused, i.e. look a bit odd in the pub garden for a casual lunch post-run. This being a running channel, I thought you'd go with the ones Sungod say are for running. As a runner, those are ones I'm considering.
Do NOT buy ND:R. If you have any issue the owner will not refund you. Looks like we’re going to have to take him small claim court to get money back for glasses we’ve returned. Stay away do not buy!!

Hey! No problem, big fan of the glasses :)

Again amazing useful reviews, ordered some Tifosi swank as we have actually had some sun in the North east!! :)

Sungod do a Nylon 8KO lens which would be better than the lens Oakley produce for reasonable money.
Kieran, you can totally pull off those first sungod glasses! They look great on you. Even better than the sungod renegades 😊
As always, good job guys. I needed some cheap glasses for running in hayfever season and now I can get some cheap ones (not Oakley :))
Please do the same for running caps!

This video was so cool. Gotta say I find Red Bull Spect to be very good sports sunglasses.
Awesome video. Thanks for putting in the time and research. This really helped me 🙏
Please review the District Vision sunglasses
I wish more brands like SunGod did prescription lenses.

Adidas evil eye half rim pro are my favourite , since been discounted . They were made by Silhouette Group , Austrian made
Another vote for Goodr here, love them!
No Sunski Foxtrot review?? That's the one in my cart, lol
Goodr vote from me too. 👍
No MarsQuest running sunglasses?
How about Knockaround?
I am looking to upgrade my goodr especially with trails in mind and I wonder whether you rate the sungod ultra or Oakley radarEV or EV zero?

How do you run with sunglasses without them bobbing up and down on your face
Pit vipers !
The Sungod Classics are made for running. Not sure why you review d the Tempests instead of the Classics..?

Are there any glasses for rain?
Our Ultimates are perfect for this reactolite with a water repellent coating at ND:R spors

Welcome to India 48 degrees and still people running
