hey there. I usually dont write comments. thank you so much for this video! tbh i am not going to subscribe because I was just looking for some good insides about oaklays and which one to get. but how your present the glasses and your whole delivery is very wholesome. so please keep up the good work - i am sure its going to continue to help a lot of people! (btw I thought I was getting the radar path‘s but now decided to go for the evzero‘s) - thanks a lot :)
The good ol' Rob! Missed watching your videos, man. Don't know if t was becuse of this freakin' algorythm or else, but it's nice seeing you around again.
I have Sutro S thanks to you guys recommending them Prism Road my fav lens all time. I have trail and jade ones too. I just bought the sweeps in prism road. luv 'em...some Trails nex.
Hi! It helps to consider the type of activity you plan to use them for in addition to the lighting conditions you typically encounter. For example, the Prizm Road is great for cycling & running in med to bright light conditions. But if you experience some sensitivity to bright light or play in brighter than average lighting, you may want to opt for the Prizm Road Jade or Road Black as they block even more light from passing through the lens compared to the standard Road 👉 www.sportrx.com/search/?q=oakley+shield+ 🔥

Tough question when you consider how many good frame options there are! Think about size, hat accommodation, coverage, grip, etc when looking at frames with features that will personally benefit you on a run. Hello, I tried all flaks models from oakley, unfortunately they're alle to small for my head. Is there any other brand that looks similar to the Oakley flak models ? And yes, I've watched already your video for big heads. But I sadly didn't find any model similar to the flak Thanks 😁
Thanks for a great and comprehensive video. I have a larger than average head and I am looking for a pair of Oakley shields for overall outdoor activities combined with the occasional beach volleyball game. Which frame(s) and lenses would you recommend?
Thanks for watching! Below are some of the larger shield frame options from Oakley. When it comes to lenses, Prizm Sapphire, Road Jade, & Deep Water Polarized are some excellent options for everyday use as well as beach settings. 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-radar-ev-path.html 🔥 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro.html 🔥 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-m2-frame-xl.html 🔥
Hello Rob, i like Oakley OX3249 Extender frames for my prescription glasses, though its a very nice pair of frames, however its 58 size model is little smaller for my head. Could you recommend any similar looking frames with 6 base curv just like Extender 3249??
Hey there! Check out the Oakley Fuller & Socket 5.0 models. Both titanium full rim 6 base frames that are similar in size to the Extender with a dash more width... 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-fuller.html 🔥 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-socket-5-0.html 🔥

Great frame! An especially good option for those averse to high (full) wrap around frame designs. Very lightweight with tons of grip. The 'X' piece of the frame chassis right above the nosepiece on the lens's backside can be a bit distracting for some people, especially when looking out of the corners of the eyes. A minor critique of on overall excellent and head-turning design for athletes 👍
Looking for the right lens for softball night games under ridiculously low lights. “Low light” frames didn’t help. Next up would be golf and trail lenses as far as medium light lenses.
😊 yo bud i got mine free! Went out for a walk and I looked down on the ground a nice pair of them looked them up on internet cost 225 . If i wouldn't of found it no way i would of had one i don't have that type of money to pay for that 💯. Lucky find
I wish they kept up with the larger Radar lenses like the radarlock pitch/XL and so on. The radar is easily the best looking and functioning frame, but as I grew older, the Sphaera check all the boxes!
Hi there! Oakley has tons of frame models that will provide amazing optics and grip for sprinting. The Sphaera, Jawbreaker, & Radar will likely perform best for the conditions you describe. The venting and coverage protects the eyes from cold wind and debris while combating fog buildup. The Clifden is a great option as well! 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-clifden.html 🔥
Hello! Just about any sunglass with a solid mirror will shield your eyes from being seen by onlookers while wearing them. Look at the Maui Jim Sunrise lens or Oakley's Prizm 24K for examples. Hope this helps!
Unobtainium is basically a fancy term Oakley uses for ‘rubber.’ I own the Oakley Radar EV Path, Sutro Road, and Flak 2.0 XL, and it’s simply rubber. Hearing Rob refer to ‘Unobtainium’ as if it’s some unreal material from another planet feels misleading, for viewers who don’t own a Oakley sunglass yet. Its just a marketing gimmick.

Sutro Lite with Prizm Golf lenses is the best combo ever
How do you select the color? Trying to get the sutro lite for cycling and running

Do the standard sutro lenses fit with the sutro lite frame and vice versa?
They do not, however the Sutro Lite & Sutro Lite Sweep lenses can be swapped in the same frame.
Great video!

How about a video on which Oakleys fit best inside a full face motorcycle helmet!
Can I use this for night riding
With the right lens, definitely! Opt for the Prizm Low-light, clear, or photochromic lenses for night riding.

Prizm Road Black! 🔥
@@sportrxeyewear Thanks! They look awesome!🔥
Man! I wish they made more low bridge fit jawbreakers. I would buy in a heartbeat if I could find one.
Have you guys looked into the Oakley Corridors yet?
Yes, those are cool. Especially with the low light lens. A little less sporty then the ones reviewed but nice shades for sure.
Great frame! An especially good option for those averse to high (full) wrap around frame designs. Very lightweight with tons of grip. Appreciate the insights! My next pair in aiming for is Sutro Lites but I got Corridors because I initially thought the SL were big for my head

I have not. My guess is they won't (even though that lens is rad!).

The regular Sutro is the only Oakley model to have ever bounced off my face in a cycling road race. No issues with the Sutro Lite series.
Yup no grip on the arms was a major mistake by Oakley.

Thank for the insight 🙂👍

Jawbreakers are my fav
Prescription ... Jawbreaker only ?
We also offer the Oakley Radar EV Path in prescription www.sportrx.com/oakley-radar-ev-path.html?is_eligible=1
Very rad
Not with my high index lenses 😢
We can do the Flak 2.0 with a high Rx doc that we designed! Not a shield but vey functional.

The reviewer needs to use “rad” less often. Nice coverage on Oakley Sport frames though!
