Good question. You could technically configure Sennheiser to match those frequencies by ear but I might recommend Jabra so that you have some professional support. That's a unique configuration.
I'm at the start of getting hearing aids. I have a question about the small in ear, almost invisible, ones. I walk a lot and listen to bluetooth via my AirPods. With the small hearing aids, will I still be able to use AirPods or would that require me to get over the head style headphones? Thanks I do have an app't. set with my insurance audiologist. Have really learned a lot from your videos.
Good question! AirPods won't typically fit over the top of your hearing aids. I typically take my hearing aids out when I use my AirPods. You should be able to use over-ear devices. Glad to hear you've enjoyed the videos and good luck at your appointment!
I'll be getting my first pair very soon. I went to Miracle ear for a test, got the results and fall into the mild category except for the high end frequency where that falls into moderate. Miracle ear claims they have on their high end devices 48 channels/frequencies to adjust. From what I"ve seen on your videos (and others so far) leads me to two questions. 1. Does that number of adjustments (48) lead to more natural hearing? 2. What OTC products comes close to that? Good stuff on your videos and I'm a tech already so feel comfy doing my own settings, but would like more granular adjustments. What would you point me to for a OTC? I'm willing to go up to 2k dollars. Thanks!
5,000 was my quote for hearing aids. Then i get told... I can't wear them at my work which is what i need them for lmao. I dont get the industry or the doctors. I can barely hear my coworkers and meetings are absolutely brutal to follow
Ah I see. So your challenge is when you take off the protection for meetings? Are you trying to find a product that might work for this or taking a break from your search right now? You could look at the Sony CRE-C20 since that one sits in the year and would likely work OK with over ear hearing protection
Jabra are MFI hearing aids which require you to connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. So you have connect/reconnect for different devices such as phone or IPad. Very annoying..
I received my Jabra Select Enhanced 500 aids yesterday and so far I am not too happy with them. None of the ear tips are particularly comfortable, especially in my left ear. The sound quality is very strident even after making all the adjustments available. One of the benefits that is touted is the ability to customize the aids for tinnitus through the app. When viewing the support video they provide, there is a demonstration of the procedure on one of the app pages. Sadly, that is not in the app and only the basic settings for the four different environmental modes are presented. They also don't seem that responsive in dampening the background noise. I haven't had much luck contacting customer service to get support. Each call I have made has just directed me to leave a message. After sitting idle on the Chat support link for 15 minutes I finally terminated that attempt.

Thank you for taking All-Day Clear into this head-to-head comparison, Blake!
thanks much-I went with the Sennheisers and they are phenomenal! I highly recommend!
Thank you, Chuck! We appreciate you choosing us for your adventures.
Which would be a good choice for someone with a low frequency hearing loss in one hear and a slight normal hearing loss in the other ear.

Curious who told you you can’t wear them at work. Know from experience that is tough!
@@HearSoundly my audiologist because I work in a steel rolling mill with hearing protection

Good note. Yes, Sennheiser is a bit more flexible.
18 hours is a little bit lower ? That's almost 50%
