This pedal has some serious mojo I was hoping you would get your hands on one and it did not disappoint. It sounds phenomenal and you made it sound even better 🤟🏻
Glorious sounds with high flexibility. What more could you want? Well... like you said, presets and/or MIDI. I give them much credit for providing the expression pedal change capability, but I think I might get lost with all the knob adjustments when changing sounds. That's one of the reasons I went with a modeler. But I'm being persnickety. It sounds beautiful.
Agree, presets and midi would put this over the top. A lot of really great sounds there, but I don't necessarily want to be dialing them in on the fly. As is, I think I'd prefer a few separate simpler effects that I can at least layer in more easily with on/off foot switches.
There's some overlap tonally but they occupy very specific niches. Halo sounds a little more analog/tape while this definitely had more of that early digital percussive sound, and of course the added pitch shifted verb
It does. There’s a dip switch inside that you have to flip to convert the input from mono to stereo. Of course, you then have to use a TRS cable for the input. No mention of this in the user manual which blows my mind. I reached out to MXR support and they are the ones that told me about the internal dip switch.
@griffinmik No shit? I use a Boss DC-2 in the front of my loop chain so no stereo input was a total deal breaker for me. Bro thanks for getting to the bottom of that for us!
@@OrkhanJulfa Yep. I have a stereo chorus pedal in front of the Joshua. Works like a charm after I learned about the internal dip switch inside. Amazing pedal. I just wish they would have made the dip switch external … or at least documented it in the manual.
so here for those Kings X riffs in the demo
This pedal sounds outstanding! MXR has been killing it lately!
This exceeded my expectations. This is a keeper.

Thanks man! Glad you dig it.

Wow! That is packed with goodies! Loved your gainy lead with delay, sounded massive. With some mastering this pedal would be handy for so many things.
This pedal may actually displace my Strymon Dig. I *never* thought that would happen! Great playing Leon . . . love the tones.
It covers a lot of the ground the DiG does
I like that mxr named a pedal after me and it sounds fantastic

stayed for the tasty guitar playing, subscribed for guitar facing. truth
😁
Pleiades!!!! Then more of the mighty X!
The best!
Boss dual delay or Joshua? I’m confused😅
Cool!!!
Fair dinkum
Well…. That’s my name so I guess I have to buy it.
That's the rules! As guitarist's they must be enforced.
What ECHO 😁
Great review and demo! Is the track you used for the Jam part available to download anywhere?
Yes, it's in the backing tracks folder my Patrons get access to :)
What a strange name for a pedal. Then I got the U2 reference. Cool knobs, but wish they were chrome for a cleaner look.
What amp are you using? Maybe I missed it? Awesome demo as usual!
I'm using my axefx for the amp/cab tone
Awesome Leon! How does this compare to the Halo?

thats hella
If only it had stereo input...

@@griffinmik Thanks. Good to know. I need true stereo dual delay after stereo chorus for those 80s tone.
really nice pedal that. unfortunately, i took a drink every time you said "on there", so i won't remember watching this tomorrow
🤣
