- What would you do if you knew you could not fail? In his talk, Caleb puts this question forward to the audience and emphasises that there is value in failure. Caleb talks about his journey of overcoming fear through his 40 days challenge, a project in which he takes on challenges that people deem impossible and documents it on TH-cam, sharing his experiences with the world. Through this incredible journey, Caleb explains that fear of failure can stop us from pursuing what we are passionate about, and that facing our fears helps to develop courage, strength and character. Giving ourselves permission to fail frees us up to dream, it frees us to go for things you might never have dreamt of going for.
Caleb Meakins graduated from University with a Masters in Civil Engineering, however after winning the Social Enterprise Award at his University he decided to embark on a career trying to start businesses. He quickly realised the crippling effect of the fear of failure and launched My 40 Days; a social project that attempts to tackle the stigma attached to failing. The project has taken him to sports stadiums, red carpets and even earned him Milkround's 'Graduate of the Year' award. Caleb now goes round the country speaking to companies, universities and schools.

Caleb was 8 years old when his father died in a plane crash after the plane was hijacked. Then Caleb was involved in an equally violent death, car crash. We are blessed this human shared with us, we will remember him. RIP Caleb.

Before I watch this, I noticed my fear in confrontation to problems has crippled me. I dont want to have opinions that result in arguments and then into fights. What if that person, in response to him losing gets agitated and becomes violent with a blunt object or their friends group up and beat tf out of me, since I know how this world is. Some people have nothing left to lose and are very unpredictable. These are the type of things I'm afraid of. I'm a good fighter and all, but my imagination paints these insane images in my head.

Summary of 5 tools to help :-
1. 20 seconds of courage is all u need.
2. Know what gets u motivated. Visualize your goal, what do u want to achieve
3. Whats the worst that can happen
4.pray
5.Make it a habit to do things out of your comfort zone
"If you're happy and you know it...." doesn't count as singing! Also those people who got up first already looked like they were confident. It's not out of your comfort zone when it's easy to do.
They might have been more confident because they were together.
