Ralph told Billy that Wanda was dead and Vision was dismantled. This aligns with the way Agatha was taunting Billy at the end, so it must be public knowledge.

I've only recently started watching your reactions and am so glad I did. You are one of the few reactors I've watched respond to this episode who actually even noticed or thought about the "death" of poor William Kaplan. It goes to show that you are, indeed, a lovely soul. Now, my thoughts on the question - Why did he start researching the occult? Well, first of all, he can read minds which has only a handful of explanations, magic included. He had a weird "rune" thingy on him that he had no idea where he got it from. But mostly: William Kaplan was obviously already into magic and the supernatural. The walls and shelves of his room were full of movie posters, books, figurines and occult "toys". His bar mitzvah had the theme of "Magic" complete with a fortune teller. No doubt he had books on the occult, famous stage magicians, mythology etc, plus a very "witch friendly" internet history as well? Because of the sigil, Billy can't remember HIS past either. After all, it protects/hides the person it's cast on from ALL witches. So, he's had to try to literally "find himself" over the last three years while simultaneously trying to fit into a life he has no idea about in a body that isn't his. Thank God he can read minds! I don't know if Lilia paced the sigil on him to protect HIM, or it is possible that she just used a quick-and-dirty method to obscure her OWN memory of the doomed young boy she "read" at his very last party ever? I'd want to forget the details of that too.
They were both on the list so maybe they'll share it or help each other like Billy needs a teacher and Agatha could probably be like a mother to him until Wanda comes back
The black heart on the coven list was meant for billy not Rio, it's because they can't see Billy's name because of the sigil, billy never looked at the list so he didn't know his name was there, I believe that's what the black heart means 😊
This isn’t really true. Most readers would say that the tarot upright is an external transformation caused by external factors while the tower reversed is an internal transformation. It doesn’t speak to being among the rubble, it’s more about rebuilding who you are after a major internal event. 5:50 also at this time stamp just Before Lilia says it, she sees the Teen with his hoodie and eyeliner reversed in her a crying ball in a way that simply looks like the tower reversed. I’m of the opinion that when she does tarot callouts it is someone resembling a cards in gesture or composition. Editing to add that I do think the cards are being used for divination but in a much more literal way than most readers would actually read a spread. For example I think that Billy in the looking glass at 5:50 is actually a clip from one of the last three episodes. And I think that what she saw there is what made her put on the sigil.
Thank you for recognizing immediately that Lilia was the one to place the schedule on William. It seemed incredibly obvious to me, but so many reactors didn’t pick up on it through most of the show. It’s almost if people with a lot of Marvel knowledge had a hard time with some of the basic plot points of the show. The only thing I know about Marvel is what I’ve watched in the movies and the TV shows. I haven’t ever picked up a comic book in my life. Too much Marvel knowledge seems to get in the way of drawing direct lines between certain plot points instead of just constantly spinning on various scenarios and theories.
I’m wondering whether any part of William Kaplan might still be there, because Billy doesn’t seem to have memories of anything before the car crash, Kaplan or Maximoff. It seems like William was into witchcraft and magic too, so the interest was always there. I want both sets of memories to be restored because William being fully dead is so sad to me, but we’ll see. I loved this episode, it was both heartbreaking and funny, and I liked the slower pacing. I hope the last three episodes are on the longer side too. Loved the twist of having Lilia cast the sigil.
Sorry to break it to you but I think William is fully dead. You can hear his heartbeat stopping right before you can hear the voices of the twins, and then the heartbeat starts again symbolizing the fact that Billy's soul took over William's body.
@@agosgregor William’s body definitely died for a few seconds, and Billy Maximoff revived it, but it still seems ambiguous to me since he doesn’t remember either of his lives before the accident.

Today I'm drinking a mix of Goof Juice and Guacamole gamer fart 9000 (not the best tasting mix as it would happen...) I started the episode kind of upset that it was more of a "flashback"... but I ended up fucking loving this episode. Getting to see the "interrogation" from Billy's side was HILARIOUS

Did you notice that Billy uses the same gesture when flipping his hoodie up as Wanda?
Agatha meant breaking the rules of nature. Billy defied Death by taking the body of another to survive.
