This was such a fantastic episode. The nuances that Joe created with William Kaplan that made us mourn him when we only knew him for 10 minutes, then Billy’s confusion at being with a whole new family. Kathryn and Joe together have so much chemistry. The poke the bear scene was hilarious. Joe was fighting for his life to not laugh.
Lots of elaboration because there are definitely a lot of nuances that people still don’t grasp and there’s a lot of lore and technicalities that is easy to forget: Everything Wanda creates is real, there’s no illusion, Monica confirmed this. What makes Wanda and Billy unique is chaos magic, they have spontaneous creation, breaking the rules of physics altogether. Wanda’s children were real, BUT Wanda did not intentionally or consciously create them nor did she have any knowledge of witchcraft or the powers she was using. Keep in mind she was having a mental crisis as well. Agatha explained it in Wandavision, the problem wasn’t that Wanda can’t create children, it was that she “tied them” to her “twisted world” because she didn’t know what she was doing. Then Wanda took the Darkhold to learn about her powers to not hurt anyone, she had no intention of bringing her children back until the Darkhold got in her head. She was on her road to recovery, but Chthon uses the Darkhold as a way of using people as avatars to reek chaos (as the god/demon of chaos) in the physical world while he is trapped in another dimension. So even though she technically had the power to bring them back, the Darkhold convinced her she had to take her children from another universe just to get her to cause chaos, the type of chaos that could’ve caused an incursion if she succeeded. Also it’s never FULLY elaborated on in the comics or in the MCU (so far) as to how Billy or Tommy reincarnated, it’s heavily implied that Billy’s willpower alone caused Billy and Tommy to reincarnate (in the comics) or possess dead bodies (MCU). The difference in the comics was that Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd weren’t entirely separate people, Billy and Tommy’s souls traveled back in time in a way that allowed them to live full teenage lives in the present-day of when their bodies died. So therefore, they grew up as Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd not knowing their past or about Wanda. Eventually they ran into each other and went to the Avengers for help when Steve Rogers theorizes that Wanda is their mother. That’s when they go on the “Children’s Crusade” (Young Avengers comic) to find her after her alleged suicide reported by Strange (just like what was set up in Multiverse of Madness!). They eventually find that her mind was wiped and she’s being held by Doctor Doom as his wife while he tries to steal her abilities. And that’s how they reunite. Vision’s a whole other tangent. Another thing I realized was that Lilia in the comics foresaw that Wanda would become a powerful witch, so now I thing they replaced Wanda with Billy in this storyline. Lilia foresaw that William Kaplan would be the vessel for William Maximoff, who would then become the Demiurge. Billy has his own destiny and prophecy, he is known as a “Messiah” and is essentially THEE God of Earth, the kind of god you think of when you think of Christianity, Catholicism, Judaism.. etc. that one. He’s destined to rewrite the rules of magic. The Demiurge is the same magical entity that gave America Chavez her multiversal powers in the comics by radiation alone. That’s how powerful it is. I really hope that if Billy and America meet, America will mention how she got her powers and they’ll build on it from there… There’s so much they’ve set up and I’m so excited, I hope Jac Schaeffer gets full control of the witchy side of Marvel and the whole Maximoff family’s storyline.
Wanda's power is "reality warping" . So she doesn't create illusions, she create new realities. That said, the kids were real, but due to the sigil she can't sense him in a new body.
Look at it like this. In MoM Wanda found her kids in other universes already aged to 10 years old which is why our Wanda was able to conjure them in her hex bubble and they could grow up so fast to 10 years old.
I always felt like Agatha knew it was Billy the whole time as she confirmed in this episode but I just realized that Rio is the actual villain and when she told Agatha “that boy is not yours” she met that he’s on borrowed time and Rio is going to collect that is why it took Agatha aback because she does care about Billy.
Agatha is a way more complex character than a lot of people realize. but i do think she sees her younger self in Billy which is why she sometimes is overwhelmed w/ emotion in his presence. she hates it, but she does in fact still feel things lol. being thousands of years old hardens you and limits your tolerance of other people's BS to 0%, but it does not automatically vanquish your humanity. also, momma Agatha is clearly still DEEPLY traumatized by the loss of her boy and transference is a very real psychological condition some minds develop in an attempt to survive a powerful loss.
I’m wondering if she cares about him because she realizes this vessel contains a soul it shouldn’t and that maybe she will try to trade Billy’s soul to get Nikki’s and put it in Williams body at the end of the road? Maybe that’s why she cared about his body becoming damaged.
@@Factsarebetterthan yoooo. that theory has real potential and it is the first i've seen it suggested! 🤘 another theory no one is considering atm is, Agatha isn't actually AS MUCH of a sociopath as she wants people to think she is. Agatha's spelled mind generated that illusion of her sons bedroom in episode 1 we all saw, Wanda didn't 'write' that scene. Agatha has a heart tho she'd probably kill you if you suggested such a thing to her. xD
Have you noticed the episodes of this mirror WandaVision? The 6th episode was the trick or treat episode. That was where Evan Peters first showed up as Wanda's brother. Same episode where Vision's fate at the hands of S.W.O.R.D. was revealed. Same which is shown where Wanda expanded the reality bubble. So on and the rest of the episodes have some sort of synchronicity like this too. I talk about about how the mystery is sort of easy and much was right in the first episode as this episode shows but I am enjoying it anyways but noticing all that was part of what gave some things away. Lillia is a character I keep a close eye on too. For the clairvoyant who had zero interest in having anything to do with Agatha she is rather deceptive when she talks and acts like she has no clue too much.
I've been a fan of Wiccan since 2005. Fantastic episode.

None of us saw Billie being the black heart. We all thought it was Rio

I think it's pretty sad and dark that William Kaplan has actually passed and the parents don't know that they lost their son.
Nothing specific to add, just wanted to say y'all are great. Really enjoy your content.
Shocked that it was Lilia who put the sigil lol, very unpredictable positively, I hope it continues like this
Wanda's power is "reality warping" . So she doesn't create illusions, she create new realities. That said, the kids were real, but due to the sigil she can't sense him in a new body.
The sigil only affects other witches.
All of them, actually
@JoaoMarinhoSP Pretty sure thats what they meant. Other witches besides the one that it's cast on.
🔥🔥🔥

27:32 not me lol
The sigil only worked on witches so other people could hear him just fine
I just realised that Billy ask them not to fight because he remebmers how Wanda and Vision had a fight
U guys should check out van helsing if y’all haven’t watched already
Yeah Van Helsing is pretty good. I liked the carriage chase scene among other scenes.

Actually Disney owns the right to the incredible hulk again

Love your guys reactions sm 🫶🔥
Ralph Boner, gotta love it, I think this stuff is leading into vision, quest, and a young avengers assembled
white gold? oh honey
The “psychic “ is Lilia not Ilia. The fact that you didn’t know Wanda is “dead”, seems you haven’t watched the Dr Strange movies.
It’s not the fact that we don’t know we’ve seen the films it’s more like we don’t believe she is actually dead in a sense
