    Do an all out build! We wanna see E85, full exhaust and all! Great video. I think I’ll stick with the safe mods for myself. I’m interested in the rotobab and some exhaust modifications.

    All out NA builds are damn awesome there's something about NA pushrods spinning 7K compared too a coyote spinning 7K+ that's heavily addicting. The best bang for your buck is boost obviously but who doesn't love hearing a 6.2 chopping at the light and vanishing into the distance, and then you could always turbo after :P

    • @RaceCarFriends
      @RaceCarFriends  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup that's what I'm thinking I'm looking forward to hearing that chop and then later on I'll just fully build the motor and put a huge turbo on it lol.

    Do a naturally aspirated build, a blower can always be added later, just make sure the cam you chose works with whatever you choose later whether it be a supercharger like the Magnuson 2650 or the dual turbo Hellion setup.

    JMS TractionMAX should be your next upgrade, trust me, the difference is dramatic. The slight lag we have at the start of the pedal travel is dramatically improved as is throttle response, when I say dramatic, I'm not overstating it.

    • @RaceCarFriends
      @RaceCarFriends  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow okay I'm definitely going to look into it, is it the same difference with a manual gearbox car?

    1) Do not waate $ on a aftermarket CAI, theyre useless. Any curve/bend in tubing more than 35° reduces airflow by 28% which means less power (jave knowledge on flow dynamics) and proven on pver 5k dyno runs with domestic muscle. You have to run the airflow through a tube with less than 15° bend at most, straight to throttle body is best. 2) if you value warranty do not tune, do headers, etc, it will void your powertrain and dlrs are tracking this stuff and flagging to EPA. Ecu's are protected under software laws so thats huge no no. You can possibly do a aor filter swap and wheels, brakes and body parts but thats it. As for tunes, if your going to play that game, get a secondary ecu abd piggy back it. Next, these V6/V8 GM vehickes have AFM/Cylinder deact, which means youve got 3 or 4 (V6/V8), cylinders, lifters and a afm cam that needs replacement and thats 4-5k alone, no you cant just tune it out because that doesnt replace the weak parts in the engine. Lastly, 455 hp is way lore than most people need anyway and as 2027 rolls in, you wont see anything with over 400 hp ever again and forced to drive EV's. Its all about control and being able to allow the big bro to decide who goes where and when, just look at N korea or a few other much bigger countries.

    With that hand held tuner and the new throttle body you just voided your factory warranty. The Continental tires and the Nittos will never have the grip the stock Goodyear super car tires have for the track or street. But will have better wet weather performance. Your car looks really nice! Enjoy.

      @RaceCarFriends  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the compliment I really appreciate it, what tire do you recommend for longevity and good wet weather performance?

    • @2004YZFR1
      @2004YZFR1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RaceCarFriends , most are going with the Conti extreme contact or the PS4’s. But you will lose some out right grip of the Goodyear’s to gain the wet grip. I’ve only used the Goodyear tires since we don’t get much rain in Vegas. And I want the race track grip for track days.

      PS4s are awesome.
      I have a tuned G70 3.3t with some mods, 410HP 450TQ to the wheel and with my PS4s , it’s hard to break the rear loose. I’m a believer and I hear the same from friends with high HP cars. My tires are 275 in the rear , So I bet 305s in the back with PS4s you will be more than good.
      I have to add I don’t track my car so I can’t speak for the PS4s on the track. But for Street, they’re awesome. My first set lasted me 18k miles.

    Trade it in these days and enjoy the inflated debt. Worst time ever to buy a car. Want to build it? Dig deep in those pockets. Heads and cam is close to $10K for a proper Pray package. Either go FBO, or slap on a blower and keep the boost low with plenty of fuel and octane. Anything else is throwing your money away.

    • @RaceCarFriends
      @RaceCarFriends  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback, so you don't recommend going full out with a NA build?

    • @omore8888
      @omore8888 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RaceCarFriends if you can swing the funds, go for it. Heads and cam is not as easy on this platform as it was with the LS engines, but they make more power. LT4 blower swap seems to be the best bang for buck, just got to feed it tons of e85 and keep the boost low.
