Watching from the US and I'm amazed at the brilliance of the inquirors. Jason Beer's mind is like a computer, as is Julian Blake's and Emma Price's (who is one of my favorties to watch). They are so civil and savage at the same time. Brilliant!
The officials they are interrogating are unbelieveably irresponsible and deceitful.

I too am watching from the US. I confess that I have become a little obsessed with watching this inquiry. Incredible what they did to these salt of the earth people. Incredible...evil really. I could not agree more with your admiration for Jason Beer. Finally, these people have an advocate and one of the best that I have ever seen.

Well I don’t think we need to wait for the Inquiry to conclude that this ignoramus is corrupt and incompetent as they come and deserves a very long stint at His Majesty’s pleasure. Utterly heartbreaking he stood between Mrs Misra and the miscarriage of justice of her imprisonment. And not even an apology. Disgusting.

Mr Singh should book an immediate dementia test. Another senior post office employee who wasn't responsible even though as it was pointed out he was their only criminal lawyer at the time.
If this case wasn't so tragic and affected (and continues to affect) the lives of honest SPM's, the questioning/destroying of Jarnail by the awesome Jason Beer would be almost comical. Jarnail denying something before Jason had even asked him was the bitter end 😮 Cannot understand how Jarnail got throughout his lawyer exams !!

I'm not responsible for you watching it but my team may have (or may not have) assured me that you might (or might not have) watched some, all at none of the video. It has been quite some time and I'm quite old.
The looks which Mr Beers is giving to others in the court suggests that he cannot believe that he is talking to a guy who is supposed to be a lawyer! How on earth did Mr Singh ever manage to conduct any legal business?!
He is the head of criminal law at POL (with bonuses, earning around £500k/ year) and he says his role was to be a mere “letterbox”. Unbelievable.

To be fair, Jason Beer asked him, last time he questioned him if he was just a postbox. A job title that accurately sums up this mans very highly paid job. I wonder if POL are recruiting, I'm sure I could fulfill the role of company postbox.
@@Poppycat9182he seemed unbelievably greatful when Beer said that, he said when people called him that he took it has a complement. He even used it several times as a defense! Beer was sarcastic towards him

Yesterday Martin Smith ex Cartwright King said he spoke daily with Singh taking instructions. Today singh remembers nothing.A complete thicko or blatant liar who deserves a prison term for his deliberate concealment of evidence in the Seema Misra case and others. Lock him up!
I think he's both a complete thicko and a blatant liar.
Liars have to either have a long and accurate set of false memories OR they pretend to forget. The latter is the easiest of the two routes. It's better (in Singh's mind) to appear incompetent than it is to admit to being corrupt and criminal.
Perhaps some of these people should be going to J(arm)ail (Singh).

Jarnail Singh astonishes me with his complete unprofessionalism, obviously dishonest character, and his inability to write a coherent sentence. A man who can barely write an email was one of the senior solicitors for the Royal Mail and the Post Office!

Did things get any further today? It seems there was probably an undercurrent of spoken material to defend the Horizon system (from day 1). This will never come out in emails and from records of meetings -where these were kept! They sometimes weren't.
The evidence seems to be stacking up, but can the enquiry clinch the deal?

Singh refuses to sing.
Here is a thought....is this too far out? He was completely at all times the USEFUL IDIOT? He said early in his testimony in an earlier inquiry phase that "he had a computer on his desk but that he did' not usually bother with it. I think that he was working on his real estate business full time and only did functioned at the Post Office when asked to send emails that had been written by others. It is also likely that eventually they just brought it directly to his secretary and she sent it out. I know that he didn't write any of the emails that were not very short and full of mistakes and typos. He is equally corrupt and a fool. In short, he was not engaged in work at the Post Office but used for nefarious actions for others. This being postulated, I remain clear that he belongs in prison.
One thing is for sure - this man is a simpleton and CANNOT know how to practice law.
