I was going to buy the herd ones but We get stung with import fees in the uk after leaving the eu. I think they give better protection than the SW motech ones
I also bought SW crash bars for my 2014 Tiger Sport. However, I chickened out and got my garage to fit mine. I could see it was going to be a tricky job. As you said, they will protect the engine, not I suspect the tank. I have also mounted LED running lights on mine. (I fitted those myself😊)
Picking up my, new to me, 3000mile, ‘21 plate Tiger tomorrow, same colour as yours. Had my previous Tiger ten years, I love thes bikes. Ordered Heed bars because they looked like they will give slightly more protection. Your video has been very helpful.
Glad it was helpful. I wish I had ordered the heed bars as they look good and as you say offer better protection. If you fancy fitting fog lights or similar there is a video on my channel about fitting accessories using a Thunderbox which may be of interest.
@@upnorthbiker have watched Thunderbox vid, will reference this when fitting fog lights. I like to keep my bikes for a long time so have booked to have ceramic coating and would like to get bars fitted before that.
Hi there just stumbled accross your channel seen lots of reviews on these even your vid and every other. i am looking for one of these or a triumph xrt 800 2016 struggling to decide which one any help would be much appreciated thanks Gaz
Hi Gaz. You can’t really go wrong with a Triumph. Be mindful of service costs which are vey high. The 1050 is a fast bike and quite sporty on the twisties. It’s ok on slower hairpins etc. I think the 800 is just as good but less power.
Nice little job done on the bike 🏍 👍
Thanks 👍
Well done. I've bought Heed bars but have been too scared to fit them yet. Watching you do it definitely helps.

Mine came with these Motech bars already installed. Good job
Thanks
