I don’t think we should be making big financial decisions with people that we not married to because there is no contactual binding, thats how most people get scammed in relationships all in the name of life and the danger is you could think you are building with someone when they are not on the same page as you
Thanks dear for your input, and yes I do agree it can be dangerous to share that much information with someone you are not married to in terms of sharing payslips and all, this is a very important point dear thanks for bringing it up.. In this regard however you can just show each other and use statements while doing your budget and then you both keep your belongings to each. Not give each other full access to that sensitive information. And payslip can be a thing that you show each other once because your salaries don't change unless it's commission based, even there you can just use the basic salary for your budget. But in terms of equally splitting things like grocery and paying extra on debts while taking turns can be helpful ..And in my opinion I'm not waiting for marriage to do those things with my partner if i trust him...
