Update: Luma breeding chances are 1/100 for dual Luma breeding and 1/1,000 for single Luma breeding

For anyone who doesn't know, some free DNA stands are hidden throughout the world, including some engineering stands hidden in Saipark. The engineering stands are normally 10k each, so this can save you some money.

Hmmm. I was trying to breed by only looking at the breeding chart path for perfects. Had no idea about the fertility count thing when you breed different fertility counts :x I feel like that hatching Luma from random eggs was a stab at my Hocus farm xD

The amount of complexity in terms of breeding and many other aspects in this game are satisfyingly challenging. I really wish the game would get much more attention so GameFreak would be forced to finally change Pokemon for the better
It's the tem gaming that is tough for me, caught 20 teams, only 5 have 35 ish stats. Rest were 20 or before below.

Awesome! I didn't know about the passing down of trait slots. That makes everything so much easier. Do temtems get new egg moves with new content releases? i.e. is it safe for me to use all ferts on a perfect temtem or should I wait until all moves are released?
They do get new eggmoves! You can breed a perfect temtem and then save the fertility on it to breed eggmoves onto its offspring later! Or just breed them and sell them right away and get a new one if another eggmove is needed. I mostly do the latter

I dont really understand the egg move part. So how do I breed a 7SV tem with egg moves on it?
Breed a male temtem with the desired eggmove in one of its 4 active move slots to a female temtem of the species you want early on in the perfect breeding tree. For example, you can breed a 50 hp male granpah with feather gatling to a 50 sta female zephyruff to get a hp/sta zephy with feather gatling
so im trying for Gyalis in the mines and 2 things happened 1 i got the 20% male twice(the one given and 1 untamed) 2. 3 5% rate Crystles have appeared in the same session to the 1 gyalis.

So, you could make profit buying 2 perfect temtem, breeding them till they get infertille and selling the spare ones. Then repeat the process. Is it really possible?
In theory, yes, though people normally only sell infertile perfect temtem because of the aforementioned profit. You'll probably have to start from scratch or near scratch if you want perfect temtem with fertility
Anyone know a effective way to use mimit in breeding
Breed a 5sv temtem with all the eggmoves, then breed that temtem with a 5sv mimit!

Yes, you can breed any non-mythical with fertility. Oree is hard to breed because it has a lot of eggmoves though
So what would the odds of luma breeding be now that they've increased the odds?
Never mind is see it on the wiki . To anyone that wanted to know as well the new odds with One Luma Parent are 1 in 1000 and with Two Luma Parents 1 in 100
How soon into the game can you start breeding? And can you island hop during the story to go back to the breeding center, or is it really only accessible post-game?
You can start breeding soon after you get to the second island! (SPOILER AHEAD)
You get stuck on the third island until you finish the third island's story, but after that, you're free to go wherever

there's no way Temtem actually only have 7 max fertility, have you seen the sheer number of Skails in Windward Fort? misleading video tbh tbh

For anyone who's curious though, it's stated in the game that temtem breed differently in captivity, so fertility isn't so limited in the wild
For every 1-2 SVs at 49-50 you lose 1 fert for a wild catch. This follows the chain down.
loss of 2 Fert for 3-4 total SVs at 49-50 SV...
loss of 3 Fert for 5-6 total SVs at 49 -50 SV...
And, I believe, 4 Fert missing for a 7 total SVs at 49-50 SV. This is if you can find Tems with the multiple SV values past 2 besides lumas.
So what is exactly misleading? Did I misread something in this comment or something?
