I'm a huge Pokémon shiny hunter and played temtem for a while on pc I found a random shiny Saku. Now I'm getting hard-core into the game on my ps5 and you're the best tuber I've found. Great info and presentation

I've spent this entire week to level and train up 7 tems purely for Dojo Rematches as I could never do them before... but I finally succeeded! I defeated Sophia and the old lady in Tucma (forgot her name) and they gave me Paharo and Orphyll radar... sadly since it's Saturday already I don't think I'll be able to do all of them so I think I'm going to do the other leaders see what I get from them and pick one I'd really like to have as luma. This guide comes in really handy for me now, so thanks a lot for making it! :) My dream luma is a Myx so I hope the old lady gives me an Occulara radar next week :D

The snakes from the thumbnail are so cute. That reminds me I still need to get a shiny Ekans and a shiny Silicobra. I love snakes and I already have 2 shiny Arbok and a shiny Seviper (also a shiny Onix but I don't like it heh). But no snake is cuter than Temtem's ones.

Great video! Thanks for explaining in such detail. I just have one doubt regarding "after using 4 radars, the odds of having encountered a luma is 50%". I am a bit confused by this, as how does it work. When we use a second radar (same species or different as the first radar) the odds are again set to 1 in 10,000 right?
Thanks and thats correct! The odds don't go up for each individual radar. I just meant that after using 4 radars, the chance that at least one of those temtem you encountered in the 4 radars was a luma is 50%. This doesn't affect your odds for the future. Does that make sense? If not, I can try to reword that ^^'

I got a crystle radar but 1 spawns every 5-7 minute. Is this normal?
Glad you like it! The hardest radar temtem isn't a bad idea :o Unfortunately 5% encounter rate temtem like crystle do spawn every 5 minutes approximately
I needed this. Radars are sooooo confusing. Can you get the same radar after you break it? Can you battle a dojo leader again if you lose?

You could do that but only one of you gets the luma so I wouldn't want to do that ^^' Plus why hunt together when you could just hunt side by side individually and have more chances of a luma?

5% radars used to take twice as long as they do now. They took so long @_@ Did you happen to get a luma kinu?
@@Millarz holy moly @-@ and no :(( spent a good 12 hours or so grinding it and nothing.. took me longer since id be occasionally playing other games and alt-tabbing to go through it at the same time. Im quite new with only 70 hrs or so in the game and my friend lent me his team for the dojo rebattles. First 2 radars i got were kinu and tuwai. Was so excited because kinu is my favourite temtem in the game! But alas nothing :( currently trying to breed for a 7 sv one with adoro eggmove. Thank you for having an amazing channel/videos, they have helped me so much!

I still have yet to get a radar, but what about if you get an encounter with a luma and a non luma, is it safe to kill the non luma first the capture the luma or or do you have to capture the luma and flee?, also what if the temtem exhaust itself too much that it ko's itself would that break the radar?
You're safe to kill the non luma. Temtem won't KO themselves due to exhaustion if you don't damage them. So if there spawns a luma in the overworld and I accidentally leave the place or room will it spawn again when I come back? 😇 For example if you smokebombed to the temporium.
In theory, yes it's supposed to respawn. In practice I've never been bold enough to test that lol

I'm sorry if you explained this in the video but, if you were luma hunting using this Radar mechanic, cant you just wait for 6 Spawns at 300, and reset from there instead of waiting at 394?
You cannot since the temtem that spawn are queued and don't change. If a non-luma spawned, it will always be a non-luma even if you try to "reset" it and vice versa
@@Millarz Ohh okay so they dont actually reset, the 6 Tems that appeared before you encountered one of them are still gonna be there, it just spawns in a new one for each encounter. So if I saw a Luma and encountered a Non-Luma, the Luma will still be there afterwards

Do you know how temtems are classified and seperated, or if they are restricted to one dojo leader? For example can you get a valash radar from Musa because he is normal or Yareni because valash is in Tucma, or both?
You can get a valash radar from both Musa and Yareni since it's normal and crystal! It's only based on the types.

can you use radars in temples ? not for catching just to see if its possible to get the tems higher then 70
You can use tuwai radars there. Those are the only radars that will work there

You have a 1 in 6 chance to get a luma each radar. It's never guaranteed!

Are radars faster than saipark?
Yes, radars have better odds overall than the saipark. I only use radars now, though I've toned down my luma hunting in general

Unfortunately no. That would be cool though!

What happens if you get a double encounter and one is not the temtem you're hunting for?
That means it wasn't a radar encounter. Run from it!
@@Millarz Kill the one that is the same of the rader and run from the other. I've tested it and broken a chain that way if you still run from the species you are looking for.

Have you tried turning your in-game graphic settings to low instead of ultra? That worked for me
