I think Tanjiro is like the perfect shonen protagonist. Most appealing and relatable character. Not annoying or a crybaby, he's just, genuine, caring, humble and compassionate, empathetic with his enemies, focus not driven by blind revenge, and a badass!
Ironically the mangaka thought Tanjirou is too normal 😄 thanks God that his editor that has common sense exists to keep our boy as he is now lol

They didn't even realize how great of that scene when Tanjirou reached out to the hand of the demon in the final selection. His editor told them how touching of this scene and they were just like "eh, is that so?" so funny.

I love how real Rob is when he says I wish people would be more nice to girls without expecting anything in return like Tanjiro. I feel that so much because I like to be nice to guys and treat them the same way I would anyone else (you know just be normal) but the issue is it always ends somehow with their interpretation of my intentions being skewed to romantic feelings. I’ve heard some guys say “if you don’t like them why put in the effort of being nice?” Keep in mind this was only once but it still really caught me off guard and made me concerned for awhile that we were all viewed this way. Man I felt inferior, almost like I was an object with one purpose. I think we should all treat each other equally and with kindness. Of course there might be that special someone we treat differently but we don’t have to disregard everyone else.
I can't decide who's more intimidating between Muzan and The King from HXH. The atmosphere is completely different when both are on screen. Honestly I'd probably have to lean towards Muzan as of right now, but man The King in later episodes of HxH is something else...
Also, I KNOW all the manga-readers got hype asf when they saw that Rengoku teaser for the upcoming film. That movie is about to be fucking fire

I think the main reason Muzan is so intimidating is because for anime fans, we know next to nothing about him. We don't know just how strong he is. We don't know his goals. We don't know the upper moons. We don't know why he he's so dead set on Tanjiro and his "hanafuda-like earrings". His entire background is completely unknown to us.
At the start of the chimera arc Mereum is undoubtedly more intimidating. Muzan has this evil air around but he still has some human qualities to him almost like he’s some sort of Sociopath. Mereum on the other hand is just pure animalistic pseudo-god like unbridled rage. There is no “negotiating” with him like the Lower 1 did with Muzan because he doesn’t see humans or other ants as even being near the same level as him.

They're quite different tbh. Meruem is more like a regal prince, whereas Muzan is like a monster. With Meruem i'd bow out of respect and awe, but with Muzan i'd bow out of fear and anxiety lol. Meruem becomes chill later on though, Muzan on the other hand (so far in the manga) remains just as ruthless.

After that, it should be followed by the story to continue the second season.
Ufotable is known for the movies. Watch Fate series(Its basically a masterpeice). Fate/zero, fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel. Movies were made for Heavens feel.

3 young kids travelling the world alone, they start off not really getting along but end up putting their lives on the line for each other becoming closer than friends

There are a few good reasons why they're doing a movie, one of which is that it'll buy them time to work on season 2(which will require tons of new assets).

Making it a movie is pretty smart because the arc itself isn't actually that long, obviously, since it takes place pretty much entirely on the train.

Guys, Season 1 was basically the prequel. The sequel movie and season 2 is the REAL story.
Also, an FYI // The Train arc is pretty short so it's perfect for a movie adaptation.. The following arcs are very long so it makes sense for season 2 to adapt the arc's after the train.
