Once again I think demon slayer really shines in its powerscaling. They’re really able to show Tanjiro’s growth and strength, without undermining the Hashira, who are introduced as the best warriors the demon corps have to offer. So often shonen anime has a tendency to introduce newer, stronger characters who eventually become irrelevant once the protag outshines them. The Hashira are meant to be the best of the best, which is shown beautifully with Giyu, Rengoku, and now Uzui. Their relevance remains all the way up to the end of the series, all without taking the shine away from Tanjiro as the protagonist.

People keep misunderstanding how the demons work, demons cannot kill other demons even if they chop of their heads, the only way to kill a demon is the sun, decapitation with a special blade made of that sun ore stuff, or Muzan can kill them.

na na i seen a lot of animes but this episode for me is what put Demon Slayer on top for me. from Nezuko LAUGHING at mopping Daki around. to not being able to control the bloodthirst and then her bro doing everything in his power to calm her down. then him singing her to sleep basically and the liiiitle little details like the directors turning Nezuko's body back to normal after it got enhanced. then after ALL that, the way they introduced Gyutaro? that entrance was raw!!! I want this anime to go on for years if possible lol
Well it is going to since every season needs a year or two to animate and they're gonna need 2-3 more to end it, so we're looking at 4 more years of waiting and watching this show
I was really concerned about the power levels since they presented us the upper moons like some fucking wild demons, and the nezuko clapped daki like she was nothing. Really happy about the final twist, hopefully daki and gyutaro can put up a real fight
@@The_dunkman don’t worry because Daki but more importantly Gyutaro are upper moon 6 and whilst they are strong, they aren’t when compared to someone like Akaza whos upper moon 3 who could basically 1v1 any of the hashira and win every single time… What makes Daki and Gyutaro an upper moon is the method you have to use to defeat them which you will see explained soon enough! Nezuko in her awakened form is equal to that of a low upper moon anyway so it makes sense that she was folding Daki considering Daki isn’t really the main strength of upper moon 6 and it’s more Gyutaro…
This anime will get one or two more seasons tops because the manga is finished and it would take a maximum of 2 seasons to finish the story completly
@@animemuse8613 I actually disagree considering we aren’t even halfway through the manga at our current point in the anime in we have had 2 full seasons and even after entertainment district is finished we still have more than half to go… it depends on how Ufotable decide to do it because if they do two 26 episode seasons like the first season then I think you will be right and it’ll be over in 2 seasons so roughly 4 years however if they decide to do a 12 episode season again like we have right now then it could go on way longer and have 3 or 4 more seasons spanning 6 years or so!
Yeah Muzan was being nice to Daki to keep Gyatoro under control. Not that Muzan can’t instantly kill him, but Gyatoro is actually one of Muzans favorite. All of this is based of the books after the manga

No, she’s definitely strong enough to be an upper moon, she’s killed 7 Hashira. Those Hashira we’re just not at the level of Tanjiro or the current Hashira.

Fyi if you look carefully, Gyuutarou is in the OP, and they show him jumping out in front of the moon, almost hinting at the fact that he is the "real" Upper Moon of the arc
It seems that nobody understood that, demons die at 3 conditions only:
Getting their head cut by a special sword (all the demon slayer have that special steel which has the same effects as the sun)
The sunlight
The poison
or Muzan does something to them
4. Muzan
Absorption
5. Absorbed by other demons

This should put things into perspective looking back on Mugen train. Rengoku fighting upper moon 3 is crazy. And expecting Tanjiro to help is even more crazy.
Tanjiro had to push himself to near death to fight Daki. Tengen dealt with her effortlessly. AND she’s not even Upper Moon 6 lol. Now Tengens fighting the real Upper Moon 6 and he’s giving him a run for his money so WTF was Tanjiro going to do against Akaza?

In the manga when her brother came out they had a text that said "True Weilder of Upper Six" But I guess they didn't want a narrator and they didn't think any character can say it so it just wasn't said. Unfortunate

They’ll probably reveal it during the fight like how the first couple episodes when tanjiro went to final selection is told a bit differently from the manga. The events are the same but some of the information he was given is narrated during fights rather than before

@@Matty80822 When you look at the "Gyuu" kanji you get a better understanding, the gyuu part "妓夫" basically means "pimp" or as the main commenter said it - they're the guys who "bark" that they have the best women but also they act as guardians - which is what Gyutaro was for her sister.

When Daki yelled for her brother, Uzui was really like "Oh say sike right now"
Demons cant kill other demons, we literally saw Rui slice his "sibling" in thirds and then she ran away carrying her head lol, or when Nezuko literally kicked off Daki's head, or Yushirou had his head obliterated by the Temari ball in Season 1. (Only Muzan can kill demons cuz he's the progenitor of them all)
Demons can only die from *1)* the sun or *2)* nichirin blades, because the blades are made from an ore that comes from a special mountain that absorbs lots of sunlight, so there is literally power of the sun in the Demon Slayers' blades. Also *3)* Wisteria poison
and we saw the guy with invisible powers fight the tamari balls girl, his head was SPLATTERED no where to be seen, and he just re-grew it. i feel like everytime when it comes to nezuko people tend to forget shes really a "regular" demon that cant be killed by other demons. like in the fight against rui, everyone was so scared for nezuko, but theres no way for her to die unless its to the sun or a nichirin blade. how do people forget this?

Nezuko went full feral. Every pillar introduction got to have one cold scene of them one shoting the enemy 😂 But, they've be throwing in an little twist lately. From the two extremes, the way this show switches viciously brutal and epic action to endearing wholesomeness is so expert.
The last line that Gyutaro says pretty much gives you a clue of what's going on... They share a position(Upper 6) although Gyutaro is the stronger one

Demons cant kill demons thats why nezuko didnt die after getting his head chopped off by daki. They dont rank up by killing another demons. Muzan ranks them by beating each other, not killing. Only muzan, sunlight, and demon slayer can kill demons because of their special blades

One thing I noticed was the hair. When she first dropped her human cover up her hair color changed to silver and green, but when her brother emerged it changed to a shorter ponytail with only silver, as if it represented her brother's separation from her. I think he is the main and she borrows power from him.

I absolutely love the production on these videos. The reactions are top tier but I can't get passed the intro, editing, and gear. I'd fight angry Nezuko 1-on-1 if it meant I could get a mic system like that.
They're BOTH the upper 6. The author was trying to make this very clear when gyutaro says "the thing about us is that we're two people in one". How clearer can something be? Neither one of them individually is the upper 6, the combination of them both is the actual upper 6. Muzan is the god of demons, he is the creator of them, of course he knows about Gyutaro, he created him just as much as he created Daki. The title of "upper 6" was given to Daki and Gyutaro together, as they are 2 parts of the same powerful upper 6 demon, and Muzan knows it perfectly well.
though muzan does say that gyutaro would be more powerfull without daki
@@Bseaz doubt it. Maybe he would be stronger individually than he is now, but he wouldn't be as strong as the combination of him and Daki. Because a big part of their strength is having 2 heads, if you don't cut both heads at the same time you can't defeat them. Gyutaro alone would have only one head and thus would lose one of the main powers of the "upper 6 demon", which is having 2 heads that must be cut at the same time, which is extremely hard to do while having to also survive the combined attacks from Daki and Gyutaro.

@@Bseaz power wise it does matter. Having 2 heads and being hard to kill makes a demon objectively more powerful. One of the main advantages of being a demon is the fact that your wounds heal while a human keeps getting hurt and tired. Just look at the fight between Rengoku and Akaza; In that fight Rengoku keeps slashing Akaza, but Akaza simply regenerates, which makes Akaza very powerful because if you can't kill him you will get more and more tired while Akaza is still 100% fresh which means that Akaza will eventually kill you. The same principle works for Daki and Gyutaro. If they were separate of course gyutaro would be stronger than Daki, but even though Daki is weaker individually, she is very important to the total strength of the "upper 6". One of the main strengths of the upper 6 demon is that you have to cut both of their heads at the same time, which is one of the main factors that make them so powerful. Not only is it very hard to deal with both of them at the same time, but even if you somehow manage to cut one of their heads off, the head is going to regenerate. That's why they are so powerful, cutting both of their heads at the same time while dealing with their combined powers is extremely difficult. Without Daki, Gyutaro would only have one head and thus he would lose one of the main powers that makes the upper 6 demon so strong, which is having 2 heads. Gyutaro without Daki would be weaker than the combination of him and Daki because he would be easier to kill, and as I've already explained before, being hard to kill is one of the main powers of a demon, because this makes humans get tired trying to kill the demon while the demon remains fresh and eventually kills the humans.
