I liked that some of the Slayers disagreed with their leader. It shows that this isn't some sort of jacked up organization where you have to do what he says without question and cant voice your own opinions.
Tbh, mostly the stronger ones of the hashiras had the guts to deny the master...

That's cuz the leader's not into such iron-fisted authority. He has their total and utter respect from being peaceful and serene. Instead of shouting or even at least using a stern tone, he just raised his finger and shushed them softly. They all shut up. Of course being gentle of heart means rebellious attitudes amongst the harsher Hashiras but they still treat their leader with reverence.
Coming back here after season three, I really feel for the wind hashira. His mom, who would always protect her children with her own body if they were in danger got turned into a demon and killed most of his family, and to find out that there was a demon that could hold back the urge to eat must of been unthinkable to him.

*NOT* a spoiller: Guys remember Sanemi (the wind hashira) wasn't serious and because of his respect for the master he completely dropped his guard when Giyuu interfered. Yes, He got headbutted by Tanjirou, but still remember Tanjirou at his weakest almost got a hit on Giyuu. Tanjiro's the MVP
Carmilla Karnstein tbf the axe throw was way more clever than a headbutt, i wouldve expected sanemi to dodge that with ease.
Besides that; i dont read the manga but im gonna go with sanemi and the mist as the top 2-3 hashiras with rengoku and giyuu right behind them.

Sanemi didn't even think that a mere headbutt from a child would hurt him bro. Also that scene was added by the author from the perspective of the audience who are hating Sanemi's behaviour towards Nezuko especially when he stabbed without any reason. The author wanted him to look like an asshole and think that he might not be that important or even strong in the first place but completely surprises everyone when we get to know about him and he even had a great fight with the second strongest demon in the show who also acknowledged him. Sanemi and Obanai had great moments in Infinity castle and Sun rise countdown arc. Sanemi in Infinity castle and Obanai in the sunrise countdown arc. Which was amazing especially when you think back at their introduction scene when everyone was shitting on them for being rude to their favorite characters 😂❤🔥👌 And I love demon slayer for that exact reason.

Yeah initially I find Himejima the most irritating of the bunch as he came off as holier than thou type. When things were revealed about the guy, he kind of grew on me. I wouldn't be surprised if Sayo shows up around the end to give his backstory some closure. If he doesn't survive, Sayo might come to pay her respect. I mean from what I had seen in his backstory, I don't think Sayo ever meant to betray crying Gintoki. It seemed like a case of poor communication kills as well as the fact that the guy couldn't prove his innocence since his only evidence got vaporized by the sun.
iamhungey12345 In his character sheet if I remember correctly, it’s explained that the girl didn’t mean to say Gyomei killed the children but that the demon did, and her explaining better later made the master go and get him out of prison.
@@karhammer Yeah it's clear as well, I mean when she said "This man is a monster", she never said whom. Because the evidence was vaporized, the authorities assumed Sayo was talking about Himejima. Not to mention she was 4 so this would have been difficult for kids of that age to word it properly, especially under the trauma of watching her friends getting slaughtered in front of her.

Think about it this way sanemi doesnt trust demons and doesnt want to them to suddenly attack them whilst keeping them within their base which is hidden and give out information to muzan cause spoiler
Muzan is connected to all demons hence if he suddenly connects with nezuko their base is revealed also sanemi is one of the most loyal hashiras around
Nezuko and Tamayo weren't connected though, not anymore anyway.

I don't care for the hate Sanemi gets from anime onlys but please note thag NONE of the hashiras did anything when he stabbed tanjirou's sister twice. Sanemi just did what everyone wanted to do and Giyuu just stood there letting it happen. lol the only one that was opposed to nezuko being stabbed was tanjirou.

Kibutsuji is waaaaaaay too old for Master to be his brother. Same as he is to have known Tanjirou's dad. That was already revealed. Oh you need to respect Sanemi. In the after credits scene it was stated Tanjirou landed a hit on him only because Giyu distracted him. He's one of the 9 strongest Demon Slayers in the world after all. Do NOT underestimate any of the Hashiras.

What makes Sanami showing his blood to Nezuko and she not attacking more impresive is that Sanami's bloods is basically catnip for demons. He has a specil type of blood that makes demons go into a frenzy, but Nezuko resisted it

In the translation the hashiras are called poles if I remember right. Fire Pole, Water Pole, love Pole, etc. It may seem weird but, for example, one of the titles/ranks among the Triads irl is translated as Red Pole, who unless I'm mistaken, tend to be mid/high ranking enforcers. There's probably a reason that is flying over our heads as to why both Triads and other asian organizations, be it in fiction or real life, have the rank of "pole", my point simply is it's not a random word the author picked

I have the same theory too. Maybe not as close as brothers, but I fee like they are related. he gives me a vibe that's similar to Muzan in a way and that single raised finger to the lips doesn't hurt. I don't think he's a demon though. Tanjiro would have smelled something. But I'm sure that the Master and those twin girls are something very different. I don't know what yet. I did like how Master didn't have to say anything. Just put a finger to his lips and everyone immediately shut up and kneeled. That is some serious respect.
the hashira opinions on nezuko are justified as they have never met friendly demons before (and many have had bad experiences with them in the past), do i think it was the right thing to do, no, but i understand their views
