I think it’s just easier to watch pageants from powerhouse countries that are also in english. The Philippines just happens to be an asian country that uniquely falls into those.

This year was the most beautiful Honey ever look, she slayed swimsuit, and in gown she looked like a 50s/60s glamour bond girl.

Yeah Q.A definitely matters because after they won they each have respective group of people before they flew to represent the Philippines .. because beauty is achievable but knowledge is built in...
Hannah Arnold was the top bet to win the BP-MI crown. Maureen was also expected to get the BP-Miss Globe title. Cindy Obenita was a dark horse but did excellently in the Q&A. Sam Panlilio was not really favored to win a title but did very well in the Q&A round and was also rumored to be the one of the two favorites of MGI owner (Nawat) along with Gabrielle. But my heart bleeds for Justine Felizarta. Injustice was done to her. She should go back to Canada and join the national pageants sending representatives to various int'l. pageants. Thank you.
Maybe Binibining Pilipinas decided not to include Justine because she just had a surgery recently. Her surgical scar are not fully healed, and most of these international pageants are about to start in the next few months.
Also, it's kind of a shame that you would say Justine should just go to another country and compete there. The Filipinos appreciate Justine Felizarta's hard work ad efforts, and maybe, that night, she's just not really meant to win, but there's still next year, and we hope to see her compete again in a national pageant and win a crown.

For three (3) consecutive years 2018-2019-2021, the winner of Bb. Pilipinas International (Miss International Philippines) were all Candidate Number 17 in the roster (Ahtisa Manalo in 2018, Patricia Magtanong in 2019, and Hannah Arnold for 2021). In the same coincidence, for 3 consecutive years, the winner of Bb. Pilipinas Grand International all had SAMANTHA as their first names--Samantha Lo in 2019, Samantha Bernardo in 2020, and Samantha Panlilio for 2021.
By the way, the co-host with the cute outfit (the one with the bowtie) is Nicole Cordovez who was First Runner-up in Miss Grand International in 2016 :-)

There’s rumours going around that Justine wasn’t included because of her condition (recent surgery) and that if she were to be crowned, it would be difficult for her and BPCI doesn’t want to push her. My heart breaks so much for her 😭
Di hamak lang na nagshine mga ibang kandidata. Di po rason yong surgery niya kasi kung ganun hindi na siya pinayagan magcompete. And nagheal na po surgery niya since it's just a minor surgery.
maybe it's not the reason. maybe the other candidates are just more deserving for the spot. but i think if they made it as Top 15, she would get in.
That's sad...health is important. It will be tantamount that she is not just mentally, and emotionally prepared but be physically fit as there'll be gruelling training and lots of media exposure before the final contest or the international competition you're going to.
