The thing with Lupita is that I truly truly truly believe she thinks she is ALL THAT because she was the first woman from Mexico who was crowned as Miss Universe; I would dare to say that she was bitter when Ximena Navarrete came along and was also crowned so Lupita was no longer the one and only Miss Universe Mexico. She can't let go of the past glory so she needs to make sure the new girls know that everything they do is because of her.....narcissistic, for sure.

Preach, Queen! This is a very important conversation that queens, pageant directors and the global organisation need to be involved.
That Video of Lupita came right after Sofia made a Live explaining (super respectfully btw) why she won’t be doing a final walk and crowning the new Miss Mexico. Sofia said that after a TV channel offered her a contract Lupita stopped talking to her. The thing is that the Mexicana Universal organization works with another TV contract, although Sofia always had the freedom to work with any channel she wanted, because none of her contracts limited her at all
Lupita has history and she just gots to go. Back history: after she became miss universe she exposed some allegations about the person who was in charge of the MU Mexico org at that time. That caused that individual to loose the franchise of MU. So during that time their was talks that MU Mexico was going to go to the guy that prepared lupita on her preparation leading tours MU. Well apparently she went ahead of him and she ended up taking it. Right after she took the franchise, I guess she visited the guy who prepared her and the one the was supposed to take over MU Mexico. At that visit she let him knew that she learned so much from him and everything he taught her worked and she was the clear example of that. BUT that she was going to be the one and only Miss Universe Mexico EVER in history. Forward a few years later that guy came out publicly and exposed the last encounter he had with her after she took over and the things she told him. And the reason he came out publicly to state this things, was because after she took over he kept seen all the errors she kept doing with preparing the girls.He realize she truly meant what she said that she was going to be the one and only and was not going let anyone else take that away from her..... forwarding to 2010 Ximena slept out of lupitas hands and she prepared her self outside of lupitas hands. She didnt listen or do everything she was telling her and I guess the evening gown she wore when she won was not even the gown that lupita approved. So that’s that, I honestly think she’s a crazy witch. If theirs anyone who knows this whole issue more in depth plz feel free to correct me.

The biggest issue about Lupita, even though there so many, is that she wants FULL control of Miss Universe Mexico. I’ve said it before so many times that it is such a WASTE that Ximena Navarrete has no role in training and helping Mexican queens going to Miss Universe. She won for many reasons. Other Mexican queens should be involved in Miss Universe Mexico, but unless Lupita leaves, things won’t ever change. Lupita Jones has been known for a long time In Mexico as a monster. Change needs to come!
And also, Mexico takes a lot of pride in Sofia Aragon. She brought Mexico back into the top 3 at Miss Universe after ten years.
This is so appalling. I loved Miss Mexico in MU 2019, and thought she was gonna win the whole thing. Her speech on mental health was so moving and her red gown performance was absolutely stunning. She was my fave. What a shame to see this kind of treatment from a director! Btw, Sovereign, your crown, hair and makeup look exceptionally regal today. Been loving the choice of color. Thank you for speaking up against this disgrace!

Sofia said that Lupita stop talking to her after she earned a TV contract for her own, about 6 month ago. This didn’t came out of nowhere, since there where many rumors that Sofia was married/pregnant or that the TV. Contract didn’t allowed her to work with the TV channel that owns the Miss Mexico org. All of those rumors are fake, But Lupita denied to confirm they were fake, so Sofia had to speak for herself

Sofia is actually my winner for MU 2019, and it's so sad to see her go through this and be downplayed by her own director. I don't want to believe that Sofia has done nothing wrong, but, it is never right to disrespect the queen you crowned and to go that low in firing back against a person, especially if you're a National Director.

Omg same, I think that Sofia Aragon has been one of the best Miss Mexico to ever step on the Miss Universe platform. It's sad to see directors continue to do this because they want to be superior to other queens, like Lupita girl you had your moment now let another queen have hers. Beauty pageants are about women empowerment. Overall Sofias performance was really the full package. She left big shoes for the next Miss Mexico to fill.

Depression is a condition that specially youth these days are suffering and living with daily, Sofia Aragon had the courage to openly talk about it to help many woman and young people to overcome that fear of being bully and judge and in this case Lupita mocked and judge Sofia as it was a weakness and an imperfection that she suffers from! Lupita is also Transphobic and she showed her when looked down the participation of Angela Ponce and created a chaos in Mexico where a Trans girl killed herself because of the effect of her arrogant and disgusted words and attitude. Lupita Jones is a classist and has no compassion for any human who desires to make their lives better trough pageantry. Hopefully IMG will put a stop this time as they did not in the past because she obviously stands for all the opposite that MUO stands for. Great video Sovereign and thanks for calling this out!

Vindictive, callous, inhumane and cruel. More words to describe Lupita. Sofia also revealed that Lupita’s organization did not back her up financially. Sofia financed her entire stay in Mexico City with her life savings. Sofia ran out of funds and was literally starving. She had an empty refrigerator and fifty cents to her name. Lupita said “tough luck, there’s nothing for you.” Yes, horrible and callous.
I must add that this was while Sofia prepared herself for the Miss Universe pageant.

For Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar the organisation asked her for her gown color, pattern, and design too. Also for Miss Grand International 2018 1st runner-up Meenakshi Chaudhary was asked about her gown choice and supported the way possible.
