Toyota Camry 2007 Air Conditioning Controls or Blower Motor doesn't work

- It helped the car ac working no matter what even when it's 100F outside !!! If you have similiar problems take ac controls unit apart and clean him with alcohol...
In this case blower motor is working perfectly, there is a problem in a air conditioning controls... it's better to go to toyota dealership and order new air conditioning controls but i decided to give it a try and cleaned stock controls using alcohol wipes... already 3 days ac working perfectly....
I believe that this control panel only had a poor solder joint that was loosing contact with warmer temperatures in the car, higher ambient temperatures. As the temps cool off the loose solder joint will contract and make contact allowing the control panel to have power or ground, which ever side of the circuit was preventing the panel from operating. A strong magnifying glass may have found the problem and a good soldering gun may have fixed it. I hope you can fix it, inspect closely and see.
I am now at this point in my troubleshooting of what appears to be the same controller in my 2011 Camry LE.. Are you aware of any particular (cold) solder joints in these particular controllers that are known problems? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
totally agree with you but it could be a hassle trying to find this solder joint.... sometimes its easier to replace the whole unit...

i have a diferent problem.the servo motor on the temperature mixer door doesnt get any elactrical signal from the a/c module.
in Florida.... it's my coworker car... he likes manual that's why he ordered manual from the dealer...
besides this the ground maybe losed not in ac control unit it could be other ground somewhere under dashboard..

Hey, I have the same issue. Except mine starts working again by slapping the dash or hitting a bump. Did replacing the unit provide any results?
+Joshua Lonski Cleaning the stock unit was giving only temporary fix.... The vehicle belongs to my coworker, he decide to purchase the new unit, when we replace the old one with the new one the problem was solved for good..

I have similar problem but, On my case all the bottoms are working just I don’t like the little dot on two of the bottoms are not working, in the the night I can’t set up temperature when I am driving.
I have the same issue. On the left two control knobs (fan speed and temperature) the lights have gone out so you can't see the setting.
I recently bought a used Camry. I'm sorry for making the purchase. Way too many issues like this. I'll never buy another Toyota.
Toyota making pretty good vehicles, the camry that you bought probably have had too many owners and they didn't took care of it.
