    Really happy that this guy shared his experience and skills with the world like that. Great explanation 👌 great video. Helpful to share the tools and the order that it was done and the location of the cover clips. The video is worth a thousand words and the obvious experience and mechanical intelligence and personality of the really nice and honest mechanic is wonderful to see. Refreshing that there are good and altruistic people out there.

    Thank you! My son and I surprised my husband by doing this with your video’s help. I could loosen the bolt closest to us, but without my son’s help, I couldn’t have loosened the other two. Between us, we got the job done. The new fan works great. Hubby is thrilled he didn’t have to do it.

    Thanks, My blower was making a buzzing noise. Easy to remove from my 2011 Avalon with your instructions. Thought is was a leaf stuck inside, but the blower clicked when spinning it. Getting a new blower. Saved a trip to the auto mechanic.

    Talk about Jefe de Jefes... thank you for this golden info. I'm gonna work on it tomorrow and I'll come back to let you know.
    My original issue: no cold OR hot air. Would turn on randomly but it eventually stopped working all together. Fuses are both good. I don't suspect of any leaks so I'm diving for the blower only because when I turn the ac on it teases a start but it doesn't run not even the hot. We'll see after I replace it. 😏

      We’ll blow mother blows only air so if ur not getting air then it’s bad it can also go bad diffrent way like not run on speed as it suppose to and give u less air

    My 2018 Camry SE isn’t blowing cold air anymore so I took in to the dealership and they diagnosed I need to replace fan assy to correct a/c concern, I don’t have $2400 to repair this so any idea what that assembly is?

    • @RBTheMechanic
      @RBTheMechanic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fan assy?? U might want to ask them to clarify what that is??? Honestly they trying to confuse u there is nothing in there that can cost 2400$. Why don’t we do some diagnostic??? Check to see if ur system got Freon pressure that’s the first thing check ur fuse and see if ur ac compressor enagages … these are the basics let me know if u were able to check any of these

      Whereabouts is the cabin air filter please? I want to check mine. My blower fan motor has an annoying chirping noise at about 3 marks on the blower indicator (speed) screen on the dashboard (Aurion Sportivo December 2015). If I turn the speed down it chirps slower and if I turn the speed up the noise basically goes away. Last night I had a look under the glove compartment on the passenger side and saw the black plastic panel before I saw your video. It seemed a bit loose to me. Anyway, after I got back out of the foot space I noticed that the glove compartment had come adrift from its hinge location at the side opposite to the door side! I couldn't shut it properly any more! I couldn't work out how that happened so have to look at that later this morning! Sheesh!

    • @Stalled-wm3qd
      @Stalled-wm3qd ปีที่แล้ว

      Fixed it all this morning and found the cabin filter (new) behind the glove box.
      When I removed the black plastic panel I noticed that the electric connection was loose and not fitted to the black panel so when I replaced it I fitted it properly to the panel. After fitting the glove box back in place and turning on the fan/blower at various speeds the annoying tweeting noise has gone!
      Thanks for your helpful video!
