Me and the missus went there a few years ago on a Sunday and the French rugby team were there. They were bloody massive but fortunately for me not very keen on the black stuff. They all had these free pints and kept leaving them all over the place. I keenly followed and being one not to waste stuff duly obliged. Later on I found the Dublin pavements extremely uneven indeed. A fabulous weekend which will be repeated when Ireland is open again.

They pour more pints down the sink in the Gravity Bar than are poured down throats. Hilarious watching the American and Asian tourists taking their selfies holding a pint then just leave it on the bar.
If you want a proper pint of Guinness in Dublin head for the gravediggers pub beside Glasnevin cemetery. You can take a stroll trough the cemetery beforehand and see some very famous Irish peoples graves.
Best pint of Guinness to be had is at Paddy Murphys in Ballymore Eustace , Kildare..poured by the Man himself..cant and never have found a better pint.
Coffee flavour Guinness is my favourite drink so far, then Belhaven Black from Dunbar, then Normal Gunness, plan o taking my Mrs there for a taste in the new year, then it'll be round to Mcgregors gaff for a munch and a taste of his Forged Stout, can't wait, never been to Ireland.
My pint was too cold for me. Guinness is not as flavourful as some stouts, and the low serving temperature didn't help. I had a look at the Wicklow mountains and Usher's island while my pint warmed up a bit, and it was all good after that. The Storehouse is a rip-off, though.
Yep I've always been half disappointed with the pint in the gravity bar. You'd think it'd be the best pint in the world but it's just average for Dublin standards. +1 on the cheap merch in the giftshop.

There's something not right when the brewery tap can't serve a decent pint of their own product. Pretty much every other brewer in the world where they sell you a pint, it's the best it can be. It's like going to a porsche dealer and all the cars are dirty and Arthur Daley Motors, just down the road, sells immaculate clean ones for a better price.
@@darrelw6246 The staff in the Gravediggers treat the barrels with total care,, they also like to let the barrels settle for at least a week before they are brought into the coolroom to be tapped .

@@darrelw6246 As a young chap I lived in the area so it was one of my locals, it's a must visit anytime I'm back in Dublin. No fancy decor , just smoke stained wood panels and very basic seating . Dublin is bursting with old character pubs , pub crawl heaven.
I used to deliver guinnes kegs and on 31st Dec 2016 I brought a mate and his mot and his cousin to gravity bar as she was over from de states . I brought me diagoo badge and pints were free and plenty co.ing but the winning were giving out cos they wanted to go somewhere else to get a noseband ffs anyway currently building my 2nd bar if you look up the indy Inn on face book you'll see the original bar
I was there last March and I can tell you that it hasn’t improved, the lad above had them tipped off and the place was empty and had the best barman to pull the pint so it isn’t a proper review.
I don't get it, trying the same beer in a different places? Isn't the same beer supposed to be the same everywhere? At least that's how should be with a product that comes from the same place just distributed to different locations, no?
Should be but isnt. All depends on the various factors, the pour, the temperature, the cleanliness of the lines, the length of the lines, the glass, when the beer was brewed, what market it was made for etc.
That's an absolute disgrace only 7.2 at head quarters it should be the consistently top pint in the country bar none, they spend to much time on branding rather than on quality

Best Guinness in the Storehouse is always the little free glasses in the tasting room. Gravity bar is always a bit of a let down.
