Went here for the first time on Friday, just to return on the Saturday to spend hours and hours in this pub. It lived up to the hype and more. Absolutely fantastic pub and the best pint of Guiness I ever tasted.
I'll tell you what's really interesting is although you've only got a little over 3, 000 subscribers you're reaching people here in America and I'm sure all over the world hope your channel continues to grow
Just came back from Dublin after watching Garth Brooks. Grave Diggers pours the best pint I’ve ever tasted in my life and I’ve done more than 3,000 pints in my lifetime so far 🍺
What a review. It’s a good pint when you get nostalgic after the first sip. Glad to know I wasn’t the only who hated Guinness when I first drank it now I can’t get enough :)
Definitely going to visit this pub for a pint or two of Guinness when I go to Dublin in the near future. Have never been to Ireland but my wife has been twice and she says it's a wonderful place Slainte Mhath! Chris
Agreed. Best pint around by far. Love the vibe there. Ciarán does a meán coddle too. Few other worthy mentions for you to try are Mulligan's Dublin, The Long Hall Dublin, The Oval Dublin, Toners Dublin, The Cobblestone Dublin, The Palace Bar Dublin, Bowes Dublin,The Lord Edward Dublin, The Longhall Dublin, Brady's Dunboyne Co Meath & O Sheas Bar Killorglin Co Kerry.
@@daraghcurran Believe it or not the most disappointed over hyped place for a pint is at the Guinness store house would you believe. It's OK but you'd think it would be amazing.
Visited in December 2021(first visit), a none Guinness drinker, told you must have a pint in Gravediggers, and WOW what a pint ! Another visit required 👍🏻
If it's the best surely it needs a 10! 😄 Just got back from here (got the T-shirt like a true tourist/supporter!) And it was a slight mission to get up to from out the centre, but worth it for perfection 👌Shouts to the lad on Bowes who gave me directions on how to make it.
One hell of a place is The Gravediggers, The theme and layout of the place is incredible, Just like you've stepped back into the 1830's the originality of the place. And i'm not just saying it, It's the nicest ale i've ever tasted in my life, Not just the nicest Guinness i've had but the nicest pint i've ever had hands down
The year was 1987... I discovered U2, The Pogues, and Guinness. I'd like to be able to say, And I've never looked back... But, I have been to Kavanagh's, and it's as good as it gets. ...The head, Proudly above the rim!
An interesting question I wonder how long their taps and pipes have been in place ? Is that a contribution towards the unique delivery of the black stuff.
The famous irish term.. "going for a jar" originated in the gravediggers !! Due to a shortness of glass in the 2nd world war, there was a lot of ceramic jam jars in circulation so the gravediggers themselves would have their jars filled with their drink !!
Fair play you for carving out this niche...you don’t look old enough to know how the Guinness has changed over the last 30 years but it’s good to see that the younger generation take the Guinness seriously...I do question you’re subjectivity as everyones 5th pint tastes better than their first....good luck to u now.....if u want scientific robustness to your peer review...let me know ...👍
Was here last night for the first time im home from australia amazing place and pints are so tasty , also i was in jimmy breins last week in killarney guru a far creamier pint i reckon jimmy breins was slightly better big call but just felt smoother and creamier

had my first pint in there last weekend.......and I must be honest....the pint was fine......not greta..not bad...just fine ...no shtick.......might have caught them on an off day
The amount of times I've been just down the road and I've never gone in. I even lived a fart's whiff away. One of my biggest regrets. I'd murder a pint there right now.
Love the Irish. They are tough fighters, hard workers, hard drinkers. Our Irish-Americans fought so well for the Confederate States in the American Civil War.
They have gone soft with the Con-flu payment .They Would rather stay in bed these days .Businesses opening up now after lock down can not get workers .
9.3 is such a random number. You've never had anything higher than that in your life man. Dynamic scale is needed... i.e Gravediggers is 10 until it gets beaten
When I visited London I stepped into the No. 2 Rose and Crown Mayfair and sat down to have a beer. I was lucky enough to sit down just as a lively debate between the barkeep and two gents on what makes the best Guinness. It didn't take long for the barkeep to say the temperature and cleanliness. He didn't say the glasses, but one would think that if it is important then the glass must be part of it. He went on to say " We clean our hoses daily with a brush just like a sweep would clean a chimney, and that's why I believe we have the best glass of Guinness in this part of London."
Its how they pour the pint as well .In many London bars the staff pour the Guinness pint in one go ,which is a big no ,no .The Irish pubs in London usually have the best pints .

I like that story about the gravediggers knocking on the wall to get their pints.
Absolutely my favorite pint in Dublin over my many trips to visit. Legendary for a reason. The craic is top notch, too.
