So now you have Cntp and Entergy supplying and a million different companies billing customers and the service area has tripled. So for a small kick back you'll see Beryl Energy coming soon

So are fuses on back order? Are they time consuming to install? Is there not enough workers that specialize in this? What is going on? If CP really hears our frustration why don't they open up a phone line that isn't for emergencies? I became so ill i almost had to call 911 yesterday morning. The ONLY reason I stayed was because they kept giving false restoration dates if you called. I have a multitude of health problems and not having ac right now is an emergency. There arent enough pet friendly places to go to and i cant handle a generator plus it would just get stolen.

It was such a puny hurricane. It hit us for about 2 hours straight and then done. Nothing else happened after that but sunny skies. Then the immense sweltering heat with no power and it got worst. They took over 24 hours before they took any action to restore power citing safety. I got my power back within 3 days so I consider it a blessing but I heard others had it worse with no water and people on ventilators/life support died.

“CenterPoint Energy paid its CEO a total of $37.8 million last year, far exceeding executive pay at peer companies while it sought massive rate hikes for customers already struggling to keep up with skyrocketing utility bills.” - Energy and Policy Institute, April 19, 2022

I'm 70 and this was the mildest hurricane I've ever seen. It also, according to the electric companies, did more damage than any storm in history. This was an anomaly NO ONE expected. If they can restore 125,000 people in one day, then the usual storm has us back with power in a day or two. But with 2,000,000 people with no power - it's gonna take a while. This wasn't the worse; we went four days this time but have gone two weeks.

Yes, your power could have been restored with the help of out of state lineman, but your state don’t participate and is on some BS. Stop making excuses for this greedy company and your trifling state regulations or lack there of.

So your solution is to have the very people who failed investigate why they failed what could go wrong with that investigation at least ask the energy commission to conduct it
