Sadly as of right now I can't really say that I'm eagerly awaiting GTA6 release since it just looks somewhat like GTA4 but I hope it can atleast be decent enough for us to watch while playing.
The part I struggle with is how they make these Unreal 5 realistic games blurry to look more real. But the real world isn't blurry. Hellblade 2 being a prime example. Walk up to a lichen covered rock, and it looks out of focus.
Whilst the visuals may be jaw dropping, we all know that they are going to be provided as an alternative to playability, story, inovation and anything new in the gaming genre......great graphics were never missing, but the cost of now lifelike graphics is always everything else that matters.
Your comment comparing the graphics of Bodycam vs Unrecord is a bit weird considering you're comparing a product that actually exists with one that doesn't. I find the whole hype around Unrecord a bit weird considering we are talking about an unknown developer with absolutely no track record and no proposed release date (which doesn't stop scams but this one hasn't even claimed to have a release date planned). I think perhaps we should hold of comparing it to other games until and if a time we can be sure it actually exists.
Did you notice that Unrecord and Bodycam use similar graffiti on the walls. In fact, if you freeze frame at around 6:42 of Unrecord and 10:25 of Bodycam, you see Identical graffiti (the word SMOKY). Maybe Unrecord and Bodycam are related.
I think you should have also included MSFS 2024 . Some areas which were LIDAR scanned liked Grand Canyon are ultra realistic to fly especially in VR ;)
You hit the nail on the head. It comes down to if the game is fun or not, which can be somewhat subjective. If the game isn't good the graphics are all it has. It'll wind up on a Gameranx video for bad games with good graphics. Here's hoping these are good games.

I don't think it is ultra graphically impressive, it looks great but there focus on the gameplay
@@Sammyh-i8b Definitely not. If anything, it has better graphics than anything shown here.
Unrecord seems to have the same running animation as Still Wakes The Deep. Wonder if that's just stock character run in UE5
The last of us part 2 is the most ultra realistic graphics I have ever played so far.
How's your golf swing?
@@roscojenkins7451 Still can't move on can we?
My favorite game on last gen hardware. That game blew my mind! I loved every second of it.
@@notme6753 nope. I put all my energy into hating things from years ago instead of just enjoying life... This wasn't at all a low hanging fruit kind of joke
@@roscojenkins7451your life must be really sad
The creators of Record learned a valuable lesson. Never put out anything ground breaking too early cause it will get replicated and put out asap. Which China are the OG's of.
But it shows what superficial, silly gimmick it is.
"Kingdom of Deliverance" XD
👍
0:47 That's METAL GEAR!!! Aaaah Kojima you bastard 😉
Worth mentioning that Amy Henning was writing none of the best Uncharted games (2, 4, LL) but she did Forspoken. So dont have high hopes for Rise of the Hydra.
Did you just say Uncharted 1 was better than 2 and 4??? Clueless.....
@@KnightJPB reading is difficult... he said 2 and 4 was the best...
@@ltg8382 “none of the best” and he “doesn’t have high hopes”…reading obviously not your strong point 🤦♂️
Ooooh, Stalker 2 looks fantastic. I want.
I was just thinking of ultra realistic game graphics the other day. Thanks for the video, Gameranx, and stop reading my mind. 😅
Grass of Genisis should have been on that list. We dont know much about the studio but the game is one of the most realistic ones I have seen so far
The more and more we create games with better graphics the more they suck. Back then we were limited with what we could do with graphics and the games were way better .
Can you elaborate? In what way were they better?
@@miks8 lawd do I really to do this. Your clearly not a gamer . Or either new to the table. Gaming was different back then, less tech and more games that delivered. I'm outa here .
@@madboi1591 Different/better how? Why is less tech better? Delivered how? You are just begging the question.
Im not a gamer because I ask for an explanation instead of immediately agreeing with general opinion?
Im an old school gamer, Im stuck at least a decade or more in the past. I have not played any of the new AAAs or big titles newer than 2014. So I dont know. So I ask.
@@miks8 yeah I ain't got time for that. Just do your research instead fam. Just stick to the old games, u will have more fun than the current ones. Current ones are full of hackers and gameplay sucks and boring.
@@miks8 He would probably be trying to tell you that games that care too much about graphics fails in other departments. His argument is probably that since games couldn't impress with today's graphics, they had to make the game as good as it could be -> games were better in the past than it is now. It usually goes like that, but it's a very wrong conclusion for many reasons.
I'm hoping Stalker 2 lives up to it's name. People love to mod the hell out of Stalker 1 so if the sequel isn't great, long time fans will probably go back to doing that
I’m playing blade & sorcery right now 😎
Star wars mod on that is every Star wars fans dream come true
I would love to play Kingdom Come Deliverance II in VR mode
Isn't it wild, that we went from a dot and two stripes on an oscilloscope to almost photorealismn in a lifetime?
If Marvel 1943 is taking place in Nazi occupied France, and Peter Dmytruk isn't in the game, than that will be an insult to both France and his family
Stalker 2 looks absolutely badass ngl
The more realistic the graphics the less these games feel like games. They become boring chores.
Your benzodiazepine is showing
I'm not a gamer and came across this by chance. Some of these games are starting to look like actual films. They don't yet look completely real, but I'd imagine in about 20 years, it will be impossible to tell game footage from a film.
The fact that the devs are focusing solely on realistic graphics by sacrificing the art style and better gameplay is beyond ridiculous to me
Indie games FTW
Vote with your wallet
But the face animations, the ray tracing😂😂
Its all just a flex
Id rather have satisfying artstyle
The one skyrim mod that makes everything pastel had me just looking around everything
Thats betrer than seeing the hairs on a npc asshole in 4k
What better gameplay and artstyle is being sacrificed ? What are you on about? Also , realistic graphics are in itself an art style. I wish yall Philistines would get that
@@undary0u jokes on you. Not all realistic graphics have good art style. The most common example here is atomic heart. Sure the textures, character models look realistic, but the overall atmosphere looks so dull. And don't start any fight with "philistine" or whatever it is. Keep philistine out of gaming topic
This isn’t happening. You’re just punching the air lmao
I woild LOVE to see new Deus EX game with current tech level :)
What?! GTA 6 is more GRAPHICALLY REALISTIC" than Unrecord?! Gta6 looks like straight from PS3 running 60fps!😭
Sadly as of right now I can't really say that I'm eagerly awaiting GTA6 release since it just looks somewhat like GTA4 but I hope it can atleast be decent enough for us to watch while playing.
I enjoy Marvel films casually, and Marvel games never, but Rise Of Hydra does look cool as hell.
Love gameranx
8 and 9 is definitely what I was hoping to see. Great list "Gameranx 🎉👍
Kingdom of Deliverance? lmaoooo
The part I struggle with is how they make these Unreal 5 realistic games blurry to look more real.
But the real world isn't blurry.
Hellblade 2 being a prime example. Walk up to a lichen covered rock, and it looks out of focus.
Gta 6 isent going for ultra realistic... the people look like cartoon🤷♂️
💯
Falconnnn please please change the transition screens to dark mode. I literally get blinded everytime I'm watching your videos at night.
GOODMORNING WORLD!
Whilst the visuals may be jaw dropping, we all know that they are going to be provided as an alternative to playability, story, inovation and anything new in the gaming genre......great graphics were never missing, but the cost of now lifelike graphics is always everything else that matters.
🫡Fun fact. If you double tap this comment, it will automatically LIKE IT 🤙
Your comment comparing the graphics of Bodycam vs Unrecord is a bit weird considering you're comparing a product that actually exists with one that doesn't.

Death Stranding 2 ❤ I can not wait for it. Project M looks interesting.
Incredibly difficult to find Project M info because of previous games with the same title.
I think you're missing that game where they dismember the enemies perfectly.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Looks amazing!!
1:41 our boy Jake needs to get some sleep asap 😂
No matter how real the graphics VR is a must for the immersion factor. Especially once you get the taste of it 2D screens will not do.
GTA 6 has ultra realistic graphics? Whoah, that's news to me! Here I was, thinking it's average realistic at best, as well as the dinosaur game in your list. You're reachin' buddy. Really reachin'.
