      - on this podcast he said the idea of pyramid being tombs was made up by the XIX century European explorers...in realty, Herodotus told us they are tombs since the 5th century B.C., the Egyptians themselves told us they are tombs and the pyramid of Menkaure has a an inscription carved on its granite casing, literally saying Menkaure was buried inside.
      - he said there are no texts inside any pyramid - not true, look at the pyramid texts, found inside the 5th and 6th dynasty pyramids

Within the last year, I watched a documentary about how the pyramids were made. They have uncovered and translated an ancient papyrus that said that the Nile river was much closer to pyramids and they were able to divert the waters to the pyramids to help transport stone. So the block of stone used were approx 1 ton bricks. Egyptologists were able to determine that it was easily feasible to transport stone the way it was described in this special ancient papyrus. It was a journal entry from a pyramid foreman who was overseeing the construction of the temple. It was super fascinating to watch. Anyway, my point is, their was a body of water that most likely extended from Mauritania to Egypt. The point was that their was a massive body of water next to the pyramids that obviously is not longer there today.

@@stephenhurd1489 Why does Islam attract more converts than any other religion? One major reason is that vIslam says: "refugees welcome" to those fleeing failing liberal social and religious institutions.
      Let me explain.
Liberal secularists promote the idea that their norms for regulating marriage, family, and religion are ideal.
Nevertheless, statistical data indicates that wherever a society is governed by liberal secular norms, people stop marrying, having children, and practising religion.
Put differently, the liberal is fundamentally a hypocrite - despite what he or she might say, no liberal person is actually interested in being part of a liberal marriage, a liberal family, or a liberal religion.
Matters are different when it comes to Islam.
Muslims also promote the idea that their norms for regulating marriage, family, and religion are ideal.
Moreover, statistical data indicates that wherever a society is governed by Islamic norms, it boosts marriage, birth rate, and religious practice.
Put differently, the Muslim is actually interested in being part of a Muslim marriage, a Muslim family, and the Muslim religion.
The current era is an era of refugees fleeing from liberalism. Liberal marriage, family, and religion have collapsed.
As a result, refugees from liberal societies seek marriage partners abroad, and if they practice any type of religion , it is a non-liberal version whose centers are located abroad. Islam is the most obvious choice for them.

Dogger bank, off the east of England, in the North sea, was once an island that got submerged, and before was just part of the landscape, and then ice melt made the North sea more like a delta, and then it got submerged, and some people say a tsunami happened, and also, they say it may have been chalk that got worn away and like a dam it burst, and some also say the same thing happened at Gibraltar, and before that the Mediterranean sea was land like the North sea, and both got flooded out, so Atlantis would have been a place, but I would guess Atlantis was in the Mediterranean, because we know that civilizations were advanced in that area.

This guy is a pseudo-teacher; he encourages his audience of gerbils to believe they are being taught something meaningful & relevant, when they actually aren't even learning a thing from him.
He doesn't want to teach or inform, he only wants to amuse & attract... Obsessing over the latter is what makes for a poor education.
Nothing wrong with amusement, of course... but this douche thinks so highly of himself for "educating the masses".
Good old Papa Joseph sees right through the guy, as I was noticing in the podcast.
I respect Joe for still being bold enough to convey minor hints of passive disrespect when his guest is unrespectable.
Most people just clam up & mind their manners with a polite little grin, thinking it makes them mature & respectful.

For example, it's completely plausible that the underground cities were made for defense- in anticipation of attacks, not in reaction to them. he said there's accomodations for livestock. imagine trying to raise and feed them their entire lives in that enclosed space. nope. Alot of what this guy says about the geologic formation in africa does not support his views directly and he is asking for hidden motives when you can probably just apply occam's razor. Just because there's salt somewhere doesn't mean it was under the ocean. There's salt in freshwater lakes and runoff, which could have gathered in the depressions and been left behind when it dried up.

I could care less who thinks im crazy or whatever 🤷🏻. But this just brought a memory back.
When i was 6 years old, our class went out on a hike to see a couple of caves, and pretty much just have a day outside. This is in Cuba. When we were leaving, the walk was a bit steep going up a trail, and we would take a bit of a break. When we stopped for a couple of minutes, to talk about what we liked about the hike etc, i looked to my left where you can see the tree canopy. Then far away, about a few miles id say, i could see a beautiful castle-like area that looked out of a fairy tale. The water around it was shimmering and it just looked perfect/beautiful. This was in 1995. I can't forget the image i believe i saw til this day. I don't know what i saw, but it deffinetly looked like some kind of civilization. Maybe the exhaustion, being a bit hungry, allowed me to see some sort of "mirage". That's how I've taken it. Only God knows. I didn't have a TV, and played with stick, stones and slingshots...meaning, there's no way that my brain was being tricked by anything that movies/tv can make a kid wonder and eventually have a dream about. It couldn't have been a dream, bc who remembers a dream from when they were kids or even a year ago? My life as a kid was very free, no trauma that could have caused that moment. I will always remember that day and that hike, and will always wonder about that area.

The ancient civilisation of Minoa, located on the island of Crete famously was destroyed in a volcanic eruption and subsequent tsunami in around 1500 BC, halving the island in size. This civilisation was known to be incredibly wealthy and a hub for trade. 1000 years go by until, in 320 BC, when Plato first makes reference to a great civilisation that sunk beneath the sea known as Atlantis. He claims that his ancestor had been told by Egyptian priest 300 years prior of this great civilisation. The thing is though, in around 1000 BC, the Greek dark ages occurred, which is an event that ended with the destruction of many ancient texts of the Mediterranean societies. So there is a very high likely hood that the story of Minoa got twisted and contorted over the centuries so that when it eventually did get told to Plato’s ancestor, the story was completely different. Plato himself also may have added some things to the story. That is what I think happened.

What blows me away is the fact that "modern" humans have been around for around 300,000 years, and yet we barely know anything (if anything) beyond 12,000 years
about our modern human ancestors. Keeping in mind the constant changing of the Earth, it's very possible that many human civilizations have come and gone. There is a lot of
room within 300,000 years and something that kind of saddens me is that the Earth is like a very slow eraser and we may never really know much more beyond what the Earth hasn't yet erased.
An insane amount of human history is unknown.

The ability to maintain history / record keeping is a relatively new thing from a historical standpoint. There was a lot of history burned and buried as well. We're finally on the right track tho...

A lot of human history was purposefully destroyed when the Library of Alexandria was burned. And I'm more than certain that the Vatican vault is also hiding a lot of historical information for the purpose of maintaining the church's mind control and power.

Joe - you're someone with the resources necessary to pursue researching something like this. It is unreal the shear potential you can explore just with a few months of dedicated work with people you've had on your show, like Graham and Randall. You'd make HISTORY. Please, for the sake of possibility, see this through.

Anyone interested in this subject should read Platos' Timaeus. When I first encountered this story in college it absolutely blew my mind. The account is oddly too specific to be dismissed. If the account of Plato is to be taken seriously, Atlantis was a global super power due to its navy and strategic location, and it was intent on enslaving the entire world. According to Plato, the Ancient Egyptians claimed that much of the world either fled or surrendered to Atlantis' navy with the exception being Athens. and that ancient Athens alone stopped Atlantis in a battle of truly epic proportions, but shortly afterwards a seismic event not only destroyed Atlantis but completely altered the worlds terrain and that for a long time the ancient site of Atlantis could not be navigated to as it was left a muddy mess. Atlantis was almost certainly a real place, it's just a matter of where (somewhere near the Atlantic ocean west of the pillars of Hercules) is where many believe it to be. Diodorus Siculus also talks about Atlantis as well as Herodutus.

Too bad Timaeus was obviously a work of fiction.

I go with the theory that the Azores is all that's left of Atlantis.

The people like Graham Hancock have a laughable grasp on Plato's work, and the symbolic nature of his work. He is not a historian by any stretch (he set one of Socrates' dialogue after the date of his death). Historians Like Dr David Miano at World of Antiquity have thoroughly debunked all of those pseudo-history channels.

I believe Atlantis was in present day Antartica, now a frozen prison continent that’s larger than North America. Totally sealed off to civilian travel.
Also, Atlantis was ruled by you know who…
