I picked Graham and his wife up in London after their dinner with Joe Rogan (he was doing standup at the O2), drove them to their station. Such a wild moment because I love his books. They were such sweet people, Graham couldn't believe I recognised him, and they waved me goodbye at the station. Wonderful people.

      @davidleomorley889 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Politicians scam the public over and over and over...and yet the same people keep getting voted back into office. Too many people have faith in what politicians from the party they support say while they are out on the campaign trail. People don’t seem to wake up and expel them.
      2. Shining white televised mega-churches and their lear jet flying televangelists get people to hand over their money … using their faith in what they are bing told as the main tool. If you warn them that they are being lied to…they won’t believe you. Many of them have invested years of their lives believing in these institutions and watching it on their TV set. It would be too psychologically painful to accept the idea that they have been scammed after years of exposure to the cult.
      3. Someone called “Q” was saying a lot of things online and a lot of people believed it. They got scammed because they had faith in what they were being told. If you warn the believers of the Q-cult and warn them about scammed…they will disagree with you…and even get angry with you for suggesting that they are being scammed….because they have been successfully brainwashed.
      4. Starting in the 1800s, men were selling fake medicinal elixirs to US settlers heading out west and to new comers to the city from the countryside. When warned at the time, “Hey, those bottles he is selling you are sugar water. It’s just a scam. Buying his bottled b.s. won’t do anything for you except make you a little poorer.”….they wouldn’t believe what they were being warned about.
There is one of them portrayed in the famous Clint Eastwood movie The Outlaw Josey Wales.
      5. Fake call centers from India take inexperienced people’s money using nothing more than a cell phone every day. Their victims are usually very sure of themselves at the time…and don’t discover until later that they have been $cammed.
      6. In The Wizard of Oz, Dorthy meets the grifter named Professor Marvel just before the tornado hits her home. He is the traveling crystal ball scammer, who steals Dorthy’s photo of Aunt Em(Emily) when she has her eyes closed, eventually becoming the wizard in her dream, scamming the citizens of Oz … all to maintain his power and authority over them.
      7. There are many people today who are living inside of a TH-cam video created dreamworld that resembles Oz….watching their favorite TH-cam wizards like Hancock, Forester, Carlson, Dunn, UnchartedX and others, believing whatever they are being told. They are like online personality cults who masquerade themselves as historians and/or scientists to us, the largely scientifically illiterate public. This is how they earn a living.
"There's a sucker born every minute" was a saying in the 19th century about P.T Barnum being able to trick people into believing in nonsensical things like the mermaids, giants, the “161 year old nursemaid” and many other hoaxes.
The ability to trick people into believing in b.s. continues into the internet age and the fantastical stories & videos on TH-cam about “lost civilizations” “ancient aliens" “unexplainable mysteries” “giza pyramid power plants” “giants” and “ancient high technology" are the proof.
When you warn people that they are being conned, most of them won’t believe you and even get angry with you for suggesting that they are being misled…after months or years of watching their favorite wizards. Plato spoke about this phenomena in his famous allegory of the cave.
Just like the other forms of indoctrination, those who are in it, can't see through their own blindspot. Also, besides the embarrassment of admitting that one has been conned, which is hard enough to face, deep down inside, many people would rather just be entertained and believe in whatever sounds the most exciting to them, rather than giving into the scientific evidence, information that they usually refuse to even look at.

Same goes here. The only people that believe this crap are people who have never seriously listened to criticism of the things that Hancock says that are obviously wrong. At times Graham can be all over the place because interviewers throw stuff at him from all angles so it can be hard to follow. I have listened to all the Randall Carlson podcasts so I can follow Graham. I also read America before which covers a lot of his research and ideas that flow from them. In the book his prose follows a progression of his ideas. In order to really understand this stuff you need to go over it a few times and this video covers a lot of the high points. It is great stuff.

Agreed, *"FKN LEGENDARY!"* Only Graham could profit to the tune of tens of millions, while lying and espousing conjecture as fact, and portraying himself as a victim under the presupposition that academia is part of a nefarious plot to silence him for money. Only Graham could make tens of millions espousing he's a victim, while blaming starving grad students living in a tent, in the middle of a desert, who've dedicated their lives to their craft. Only Graham could host a Netflix special and misrepresent the entirety of the scientist that he hosted, resulting in every scientist from the series coming forward and espousing tactful editing made it appear as if they were agreeing with Graham, and the man can still be hosted by content creators. Only Graham is legendary enough to lie to the world, making millions, with literally zero education on the topics of discussion, and still have people consuming his content! *"FKN LEGENDARY"* indeed!

Hi Graham, how come this advanced civilisation exported complex building techniques around the world but they didn't export tomatoes or potatoes to Europe until the 16th century?
How come DNA evidence shows without doubt that there was no contact between Europe and the new world until 500 years ago?
Why do you never discuss this at all and instead sticks purely to rocks and astronomy? As you well know claims about geology and Astronomy are unfalsifiable so you can never be proved right or wrong unless you expand these ideas of yours.
That should keep him going quite a while.

But also the official archeological narratives are certainly wrong about lots too, it's not really an exact science. So everyone should just calm down and let other people hypothesize. Quit calling him a white supremacist and pseudoscientist, quit personally attacking people, it's fucking weak. Just calmly and politely explain why you think he's probably wrong. That's what I'm saying. We will never know everything about our ancient history. And many of the things we believe to be true now will be proven false in the future. Graham Hancock has NOT been "Banned From Pyramids" in any way what-so-ever.
He was simply refused a filming permit...for lying about Egypt's history for a living.
Here are nearly 60 videos exposing and examining the pseudoscience & my$tery mongering about ancient history that takes place these days:

@@EpicLemonMusic You probably know close to zero about the subjects he speaks about, but parrot what you hear others say to make yourself look smart.

@@motttta nice job parroting what you heard from other commenters, because you as well know zero about the subjects. But you know who does? Actual scientists who actually put the time and proper science which means peer review and rigorous evidence into studying this stuff. Graham, the only thing rigorous about Grahams facts are how stupid they sound to real scientists.

@@mottttawhat a stupid comment when you’re the one parroting here. Just taking everything he says as a truth and regurgitating it as facts. Do some independent study of peer reviewed research
