Awareness is the first step. Now you can address cravings as an emotional/physical trigger. If you don't feel like having a steak you're not hungry. Suck it up buttercup, it only takes 2wks to get over the biggest hurdle. Next time aim for 2.5 or 3 days, then 4, then 5, and so on. You'll get there if you keep trying earnestly!

I doubt I’m alone here with this: being a carnivore has become almost a religion to me. Watching these videos is like a sort of church. It’s nice to fellowship with other carnivores to remind myself why I’m doing what I’m doing. Some days are harder than others, and so it’s nice to listen to and watch a pastor, of sorts. 🤷‍♂️

Carnivore for 7 years now and I find this doctor so inspirational! Love what he says in this video about finding joy in other ways and separating joy from food, making food something you need to live, not something to celebrate like a party. The more I think this way the easier carnivore feels for me. As a yoga teacher, I need consistent energy everyday and I can't afford days where I feel lousy. I'm not performing neurosurgery like him, where a mistake could cost someone the use of a limb! But I take pride in my life and want to feel my best everyday. I also appreciate how diplomatic and kind he is, it really shines through. Hope I never need a neurosurgeon, but if I did need one, I would be lucky to have someone like him.❤❤❤

Also, each dis-ease has a physical mental emotional aspect.
Look at the organ where your cells started to change to assess the trigger. Traditional Chinese Medicine can hi light the mental/emotion state that may be subconscious and needs to be addressed.
      Take the holistic approach.
To beat cancer you need to change your personality…recreate who you are.
      I hope this makes sense.

But then the you have ask yourself if you want to run on ketosis.
Also the body can create glucose which is essentially carbs filtered through the liver.
Human body, as far as I understand, can create it's own glucose, it's called gluconeogenesis.
The way I view it, the human is roaming the planet for 2.8 mil years, and agriculture was discovered some 50k years ago.
2.8 mil years is a long time for humans to been eating meat.
Just search for early humans cave drawings and we see humans with spears chasing gazelle.
To me thats the absolute proof that the human have been evolved as the dominant predator on yearth,
and it's been only 2.8 mil years. For comparison dinosaurs reigned 170 mil years before the extinction.

Re: Roslyn’s comment about predators avoiding the intestines. Last week i took a video of a medium-sized bobcat finishing its dinner for several minutes on my Massachusetts patio. It wasn’t tearing and chewing, just licking repeatedly. When it was done, it stood up and slowly sauntered away. Curious, I went outside to find out what had been on the menu. It appears the cat had dragged only a medium-sized mammal’s intestines and stomach onto the patio. Perhaps stolen from another predator? Perhaps the less preferred second part of his own meal? Both had been licked clean to the gray exterior tissue, but absolutely had not been perforated. This was a fascinating view into the food choices and care of wildlife.

THE BEST snack… cut up chunks of beef fat into about 1/2” chunks. Place the chunks on an edged cookie sheet and salt them. Bake at 375° for about 18 to 20 minutes. They are best when they are thoroughly cooked, ALMOST burnt. If you buy brisket in bulk at a butcher shop, there is tons of fat to store in the freezer until you’re ready for your yummy snack!

Development of humans never allowed for the destruction of the system of glucose metabolism without oxygen. Which assured survival in times of forced malnutrition , long enough to produce offspring and thus continue with the species. Prof Thomas Siegfried mentions the biochemistry of this cycle in the presence of carbs and cancer cell metabolism and he is a good source for searching historical scientific precedents.

Are carbs essential? Heck no, they are harmful. The human liver makes all the glucose (and ketones if you let it) you need. Any glucose you eat is extra and presents a problem of storage and disposal for the body. Except for the ketone part, this is true for most creatures. Think about it, it has to be this way. Your liver has to feed you on a continuing basis otherwise we would be humming birds.

Hey, I'm a fan, but I wish you wouldn't trash farmed salmon. It's often all I can afford. I did a search, and unless Mr. Goog is lying to me, a serving of farmed salmon seems to have "enough" omega 3. Sure, not optimal. It looks like what you said on farmed salmon is simply incorrect. Also I'm pretty sure salmon _can_ make some omega 3, just like we can, from the plant matter. Also salmon feed is 25 to 40% "marine animal product" - "waste fish" and the parts that fish processing factories can't sell. This has omega 3. *edit - or it should. Does farmed salmon have the "wrong" omega 3 mostly? The plant version?*
I get you don't like farmed fish, but ... why go so far as to say things that aren't true? Just dial it back a little. You don't have to go to absolutes to sell your point. "Farmed salmon have less omega 3" seems true - why not try that. Then, we have to discuss if we really need all that extra omega 3. We probably don't. We make, iirc, an eicosanoid from omega oils - well at least 2 eicosanoids - 3 makes the "good" one that helps stop inflammation, 6 iirc makes the "bad" one that helps start inflammation (but that's reductionist simplification - I don't mean that really - it's what is said of them). I forget what we make w/ 9. Anyway, once we have "enough" omega 3 to build eicosanoids and w/e else we do w it, do we really need more?
There are many advantages to farming fish. Takes pressure off natural fisheries. I frankly like farmed Atlantic salmon a lot more than any wild caught salmon I can afford, which is def. lower in fat content, grainy, and .... just not as good tasting. Again, I'm a fan - you do tons to help our community! I don't wanna sound like I'm attacking here. Just advocating greater accuracy - and if I'm wrong, if Mr. Goog lied to me, pls let me know. The fewer "bickering points" we give the militant vegans and so on, the stronger we are in our online presence. They love to pounce on mistakes. Anyway, hope this helps. Thanks.

I'm sorry, he's right. Farmed fish are not good. If that's all you can afford then you're better off not buying it. If you can afford farmed fish once a week then buy wild caught fish once every two weeks instead. I read your long comment, I understand why you believe it to be true but it is unfortunately not.
The fish are what they eat. Farmed fish do not eat what wild caught fish eat. Google will serve conventional wisdom and conventional wisdom is that carbs are great and meat is bad and farmed fish is the same as wild caught fish. None of that is true.
Your comment had a significant amount of hostility towards him and you told him to dial it back. Do you want the truth dialed back? Maybe it would be better for you to be open to the reality that farmed fish is not the same. It's not as good. Not even close. If you can afford to buy farmed fish once a week, refrain and buy wild-cut fish once every two weeks. That's your solution.
