Best of luck in the new year!!
Take it slow and just pay attention to how you feel.
By the way, I like that you lost ‘only 12 pounds’ in thirty days. What other diet can claim that sort of power?

@@michiganman845 It did take my body a few weeks to adjust, but I could truly feel the benefits by the second day. You will be giving your body exactly what it needs for the first time in a long time. It was the most difficult decision that I have ever made and I am so grateful that I did. It solved every health issue that I had including completely curing brain fog (a common vegan affliction) and depression, severe chronic inflammation in my joints, a lifetime on antacids and much more. I literally feel like a new person. I hope that this helps you start your journey to true health.

Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet!
I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!”
I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank!
I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do!
I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year and 4 months now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️
    * No more perimenopause- completely reversed!
*Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself!
    *No more night sweats
*No more waking every 2 hours at night!
*It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast!
    *No more life long eczema
*No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea)
*No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm
*No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
    *No more brain fog
*No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows
*used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more!
*Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight.
*Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing!
*Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well.
*Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s.
*Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me.
*No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach!
*Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup!
*no cravings unless they are for meat
*no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago.
*No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around.
    * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller.
*feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that.
*Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights.
    * no more body odor!
    * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much.
*I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that.
    * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things.
*Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing!
*no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing!
    * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too!
*Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before.
*Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides!
*I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone!
*I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore.
*My teeth look more white on carnivore.
*My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome!
*i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone.
    * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months.
*the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry!
*little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance!
*The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy!
*My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier!
*my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be.
*My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!)
So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

A lot of my friends, two with Type II, have tried to do it seeing how well I've done, but those sugars are addictive, and it's all over the place, and they have failed, even wanting to follow me into health. It's sad. They'll die sooner than they wish, and the last few years are going to be awful for them. :( The processed food industry has a lot of suffering to answer for.

I cut down to 1 and a half, then 1 in a few weeks. Then I cut down the number of cups per day from 15 to 4-5. Being British , tea is the ultimate comfort food 😀 I started having coffee with double cream and butter and salt in the mornings, decaf coffee in the afternoons instead of tea.

I began this journey in 2023 by going keto then progressing to ketovore, and then finally in December went carnivore but not perfectly. No matter, the results have been fantastic for me. I have lost weight to be sure. (40 lbs) but the non scale victories that I have enjoyed are substantial. My A1C went from 5.7 to 5.1, my fasting blood sugar measured in the morning after waking is running 100, my triglycerides to HDL ratio is 1.5 ( my np said my triglycerides numbers were to die for and opened the door to speak to him about keto/ carnivore) Also my brain and nerves have become much better at processing (no brain fog) and peripheral neuropathy pain has mostly subsided. Huzzah! I have recently had the desire to start moving more that I never had prior. I am more optimistic about the future and looking forward to what life will bring as a metabolically healthy senior. Thanks so much for all you do. I am constantly telling my friends and family about this red neck doctor who is so darn smart and speaks in a way that even this truck driver can understand. KEEP BRING THE CONTENT! And finish writing the Proper Human Diet book! Wishing God’s richest blessings on you and your family.

Am 55. Starting on the 1st. I have pre diabetes, off the charts inflammation, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, sleep apnea, urinary and bowel incontinence, severe depression with bipolar symptoms, and my personal favorite excruciating neuropathy that has caused nerve and muscle damage and has made it where I can hardly walk…oh and morbidly obese/binge eater to boot. Even had gastric bypass at one point but lost only to a certain point and then nothing. My family member asked if I really wanted to just eat meat forever after and I said if it helps take this pain away absolutely yes! Looking forward to being free for the first time in my life! 😊

Thank you Dr. Berry, you have helped my husband learn about Keto and Carnivore thanks to you. He started watching you and has cut out all sugar and carbs. Makes it so much easier now that he will eat like I want to. We have both lost weight and I know his health has to be getting better as he drank 3-4 huge jugs of very sweet tea plus cokes every day. I had been telling him about oil in chips etc.. Now he believes after listening to you and a couple other doctors. 😊❤

January is a perfect month for carnivore .
I did so great this is my first holiday on the carnivore diet. I absolutely controlled myself on Thanksgiving. Just had a little treats gained 2 pounds lost it in two days and did the same thing with New Year’s gaining 2.2 pounds and now I am bouncing back to carnivore and getting it off to get down to my goal weight of 130.
    🎉🥳🥳 carnivore is 🎁.
    Thank you Jesus !!

219 days carnivore today. Lost 52 lbs. I haven't lost any weight in the last couple of months but I think I am pretty much where I need to be. Feel 100% better physically and mentally. The first two weeks were really hard while withdrawing from the carbs. Now, I would never go back to the addiction. Thank you so much Dr. Berry! You have been such a great source of information and it is clear you care.

Thank you Dr Berry. Somehow, at the beginning of Dec 2023, your channel came up & watch & watched so many videos. By the 11th I was convinced to try. Ketovore. Some days I do Carnivore. Back of my mind 30 days. I knew I was crazy to do before the 1st of Jan with Christmas & all the goodies. At the beginning I prayed for the Lord to help me. Goodness my prayers have been answered. Feel so much better. Had an appt 5 days after I started & did blood tests 3 days after & already lost over 10 lbs. Liver test were high. Now 3 weeks. My pain from RA is getting better, I can now walk up & down stairs with 1 foot each step. Before both feet on each step.Feel great. Started fasting at least 18 hrs most days, sometimes 24 hrs. Lost about 20 lbs plus 2 inches. BP is getting better last was 132/80 & 78 after eating. Another Dr appt i will discuss lowering BP meds. I can only eat 1 meal & full. I was used to 2 normally. Gonna continue hopefully long-term. Thank you again!

I tried carnivore for about 2 months and then thanksgiving happened. I got stuck with a bunch of leftovers and ended up being off the diet because I figured I'd cheat again during Christmas. I plan on going back to a strict as possible carnivore diet as my new years resolution.
After getting off the diet, I found my cravings for sweets and other bad foods were very prevalent. It straight up feels like an addiction. Sometimes I can't get ice cream off my mind, or I really yearn for a pop. Coming back to these foods after not being on them for 2 months really showed me how much of a grip these foods have on us.
I feel like getting back to carnivore is going to be more difficult than making the switch the first time. It really angers me how our society is totally fine with poisoning us with food we shouldn't be eating.
Anyway, love the content on this channel. Good luck to anyone trying this diet and have a happy new year!

I, too, gave myself a pass for Thanksgiving, (mostly to support my son’s cooking efforts), but I was able to get back to No sugar, No grains within a couple of days, so felt more confident about again eating sugar and grains on Christmas Day. I did great for a few days after, but am seriously craving and bought and ate a donut today.A donut!?! I don’t even like donuts! I’m not doing that again. No sugar, No grains and plenty of protein in the form of fish, meat, eggs, and fermented dairy works best for me so far, but I’m going carnivore for January, but still wonder if all that meat and fat is going to be good for me since I do have FH. Ketovore is a way of eating that really works for me when it comes to being satiated, but I’m committing to Carnivore in January just to see that I can.

My 73 year old husband has joined me on keto diet. He has essential thrombocythemia. He's 6 ft tall & 140 lbs (was 6'1" 165). He has osteoporosis and I believe age related sarcopenia. He's ketovore and since adding more protein and fat as well as a ketochow shake daily (with added butter and protein powder) has stopped his (undesired) weight loss.
I'm the primary cook for his carnivore dinners but I'm proud of the changes he has made to his other meals. No more cereal & milk, he cooks three eggs, sausage, bacon and beef meat thins (2kk) every morning. His lunches are leftovers and meat heavy.
He wants to gain muscle but it's proving difficult.

100% carnivore in ‘24…for WCM! I left a 6-year high carb plant based diet in May, and ate plant based keto. By June I was transitioning to meat, by August I was Ketovore. Now, in January I’m going to Carnivore. BTW, I’ve recovered from type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, and more + had a MI in 2017 and CAD. I’m down 90 lbs in 7+ months and now fit into the LMHR phenotype. My blood markers have never been better except for LDL and ApoB, but maybe we’ll soon find out that those markers are actually fine too…

I have used organic raw, unrefined, cold pressed coconut oil for my toothpaste for 10 years, and no new cavities, it is anti fungal and anti bacterial. Most toothpastes have some form of sugar in it or sweetener, and fluoride is actually bad for your pineal gland. If you try coconut oil, remember to spit this into the trash can not the sink or you will have the plumber out to your house as it has a melting point of about 76 degrees and it melts to liquid in your mouth but will solidify in your pipes! It works to keep my gums healthy and no more gum inflammation.

I have to thank you Dr. Berry from the bottom of my heart, You've changed my life. Because of you and January 1st I started my carnivore journey if you will. Since then probably due to some adema flying out the window like I shot it out of a gun I've lost 21 lb! That sounds so unrealistic to say it doesn't even sound right coming out of my mouth but it's based on the same scale and the very same spot every time. Same time of day every time. And beyond the weight, my energy is through the roof. I'm sleeping without the aid of Seroquel. And I know longer have arthritic and sciatica issues unless I overdo it on the dairy the day prior. But anyway, I'm only 19 days in and the changes are incredible. I wish I had taken a waste measurement before I started because everything is already falling off of me. I started out 297 just got diagnosis diabetic, high blood pressure. I'm 43 years old and in October I had heart surgery and lung surgery due to COPD. At 43 years old I felt like I was in my '70s. Now I feel like I'm in my 20s if not better than I felt in my 20s. Thank you so much for the bottom of my heart. You've really changed my life and I'm not afraid as a grown man to say it's bringing a tear to my eye talking about it right now. Thank you sir. You truly are helping people!

I've had friends that have had the gastric sleeve surgery this past year. They lost over one hundred pounds, yet it seems so risky to remove a large section of a healthy stomach. I just started carnivore, and the testimonies that I'm seeing shows the weight loss is just as quick as those that have had the sleeve surgery. It's a sensitive issue talking about excess weight with others; I suppose when I knock off 50+ pounds that has crept on over the years, that will be the start up point for talking about carnivore to people. I'll check back in a month to report my progress...feeling inspired to give this my best effort.

    • @CL-he4jz
      @CL-he4jz 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

go for it! yes agree, it seems unnecessarily dangerous( sleeve surgery). I did a fast ( bcos i was quite adapted to those) then started carnivore back at start of sept, 32 lbs off now. i don't know how that happened, it seemed slow at 1st. I had a couple of days off over Christmas, but I prefer the lack of cravings/ bloat when I just eat all the meat/eggs/ seafood I want. ( I found out I can tolerate jersey cream but not other dairy even organic, else I feel really bleurghhh!)
you may not see fast weightloss at 1st, but yr body is healing. Dr Berry calls it a " weight optimisation" diet, not weight " loss" so whichever way you need to go on the scale should be optimised. Once some adjustment/ healing, in my case, it gets faster, if you need to lose weight. Back to meat now! it was only a 90 day experiment to start with. on about 113 now...
I do like a few coffees but had done without them too. it's good with double jersey cream for me, so I get more fat.
I believe it's helped with some arthritis, longterm pain from hypermobility and trigger thumb. I sleep really well now. Freedom from addiction and hunger is a big one.

changes to my body since being on a carnivore diet for the past 3 weeks.
    1. Lost 20 lbs … all belly fat
    2. My hands which hurt like heck no longer hurt.
    3. My shoulder which has hurt with extreme pain since it was injured in 2005 is almost completely pain free. Even when my arms are lifted over my head.
    4. In the past when I did not floss daily my gums bled. After prostate cancer surgery I did not floss due to many reasons. Anyway following surgery… following 3 weeks of carnivore I began flossing again. No blood ! Nothing ! Not even the first time after that neglected period.
    5. I feel great. Better than I have in years.
    6. No more blood pressure meds. BP Consistently 115/70
I can only explain this due to my diet change.

Unfortunately, when it comes to school lunches, a lot of kids are not eating them. I'm a substitute teacher, baseball and football coach at a middle school. Even though the school tries to provide somewhat nutritious lunches most of the kids are skipping breakfast and drinking sodas or some type of energy drinks. Then they skip lunch and eat large bags of Takis or Cheetos; they particularly like the crumbs and the dust that accumulates at the bottom of the bag. At practice we talk to the kids about eating more healthy foods and drinking more water. During football whenever one of the kids can't make it through the initial calisthenics and running, the first thing we ask them is what did you eat today and how much water did drink. It's amazing how many are eating nothing but junk.

I fasted from the evening of Tuesday 12/26 until Saturday 12/30. I lost 7 lbs but more so I feel so much better already. I started re-feeding with home made bone broth that has nothing in it but what comes out of the bones of chosen animals and water. I added 2 eggs as I whisked and added a little salt. (Redmond’s only for me!) Then 2 hours later I had about 5 oz of NY strip. I feel good and my guts feel pretty good. I can tell my inflammation is way down already. So, from here on I am 95% carnivore because here and there I might have a tiny bit of certain veggies but that will be the extreme exception to the rule. Happy New Year, Happy World Carnivore month. Carnivore, Los Angeles. (I was following Paul Saladino's diet. I found out about this Sat Jan. 6. I ate 2 sticks of butter and woke up feeling like I had the flu, fever, etc. The next day I had some sauerkraut, avocado, banana, honey, Sharp Cheddar and yoguart along with meat, eggs, (a little butter) bacon. I'm going to ween myself off. Today I was strict except for yoguart and 1 pickle. I plan on being full carnivore by Fri or Sat.

I'm new to the channel, found Dr. Berry through Jack Spirko and the most recent interview.
Thanks for all your hard work. I've started a carbohydrate restricted diet. I know 100g or less isn't carnivore, but I've stuck to it all week with no cheats. I've stopped snacking throughout the day. I've already lost some weight.
I'm excited to see how much this will cha ge my life over the coming weeks and months. I hope to progress to full keto, but in a stepwise fashion.
    Love the videos!

I just started Carnivore and got it all wrong, way too much lean meat and protein 😂....I think I now understand how important the fat is so I'm on fatty meats (Ribeye etc) also got the beef tallow, also bought the electrolyte drops.... I've been feeling great even getting it wrong so hopefully when I get it right it will change my life. Carbs not an issue for me as I have been low carb for a while since I developed anaphylaxis from gluten. Thank you for the great videos 👍💙

Appreciate your contribution to helping others. Been ketovore for 3 months. No sugar, wheat, processed food, or seed oils. Eating very few vegatables. Not hard, but I'm not seeing any changes. Now, I think I may need to drop organic whipped cream (no sugar), pure stevia, & coffee (acidic). What is your counsel? Not much left to eat.
    Thank you again!
    Jim

Yup. That’s the deal. I eat fatty red meat, animal fat, salt, minerals, and water. Same thing every day. Twice a day. It’s just food. There are more important things in life. Keisha’s channel and others have recipes for adding variety. I’m sadly allergic to eggs. Hang tight.

I agree. Drop the stevia and keep the coffee. I have to make my coffee very weak so that 2 tsp of cream works.

The carnivore TH-camr that mentioned he had a stroke suffered severe diabetes for 20 years and mentioned he had lead poisoning because his hobby is shooting and he was constantly inhaling lead in the gunpowder in an unventilated room. The side effect of lead poisoning is extremely high blood pressure and it seems that was what precipitated his stroke. He has said that even in the hospital they had a very hard time to reduce his blood pressure. So this was definitely not due to carnivore

Low carb, mostly carnivore since 9-20! My wife and I are retired physicians and both changed the way we ate the same day and have maintained weight loss and health improvement. We are both cancer survivors since that time and I believe low carb kept my melanoma and her breast cancer at the earliest stages!
