This is the same oil pan I wanted to run on my car! Did you run it yet?

I haven’t ran it yet but I talk to the guy who built it regularly and lots of time attack guys in the community have killer results with it. I’m a month or so from first start up.
I highly suggest you get this pan for your evo it’s worth its weight in gold. And an intermediate budget option before going dry sump.

Feel like if it wasnt mounted in the evo but in a rear wheel configuration its not a problem

Does it bypass the stock oil filter

I'm not a fan of the rubber flappers in the oil pan. Depending on the ad pack in the oil and heat it could cause those to deteriorate clogging up the pickup tube. Check out Ford's oil pump wet belt debacle.

I see your point of view but plenty of people are running the pans with no issues for the last two years. Even Mike the man who designed the pan we stay in regular contact and it’s still running great for him.

pretty sure the evo 7-9 oil pickup is long enough for the pan?

That's why he took the measurements to make sure he had enough clearance

In the instructions it states some of the older pick ups are to long and don’t give you the proper clearance. He includes the PN you should use I just measured for the demonstration of this video
