Hey Atom you can get a tablet pen. Tie it to your ato1104. Check the bay (ebay/amzn). They are very cheap to expensive. you can get a pack of a dozen or so for less than 20 bucks. Just a thought if you hate touching screen with dirty hands. The pen is faster to use and more accurate touching.
Thanks again Don M. Someone else mentioned I should get one of those a while back. Unfortunately the one my wife picked up for me was too soft at the end, that it was difficult to use. I ended up setting it aside, and forgot about it. I’m taking your advice, and going onto Amazon right now. Thanks for the nudge Don. That’s exactly what I needed.
VashthStampeede, is this what you were talking about? I have part 2 recorded, using some amp clamps/current probes. Just need to edit it and upload it. Also, if you want me to take your name out of the front of the video, just let me know.
Hi Atom. There's nothing wrong with a shout out. VashthStampeede is a name from my kids' favorite Japanese cartoon from about 16 years ago. If you want to know about it, search Trigun on youtube. They made me sit and watch every episode and would poke me if I fell asleep. I opened an email account to keep in touch with one of my daughters while she was staying with her aunt and cousin in Cali for a year. One thing led to another and I use it to remain anonymous here and there. I shoot, so the name kind of fits. Anyway, I'm in Nevada now after being a mechanic/shop owner in the 70s and 80s in L.A., CA. I went to an automotive trade school for 5 months in East L.A. While running and working at my shop, I attended every parts, shop equipment and auto manufacturer's seminar to stay sharp and uptodate with the latest innovations. I was the guy who took the time necessary to find the root cause of the failure and fix it. I never just patched the symptoms. I learned scope patterns on one of those giant 25 inch Sun scopes mounted in a giant cabinet with about 6 other meters and gauges. Might sound impressive, but designed for points and condenser systems and just adequate for the early electronics. There's a scope guru, here on youtube, who analyzes every little squiggle and can tell you what it all means. Even the spark line which should be 1.5 ms tells you what to look for in the first half of the line and and the second half of the line tells a completely different story about lean or rich conditions. Looking forward to part two.
Hello VashthStampeede. I TH-camd Trigun, and watched a little of it. I get it now. It’s Vash the Stampeede. Funny. Interesting character to say the least. I have a twenty year old daughter. Lord knows I’ve watched some interesting/odd stuff along the way. Whatever I keep her happy, right? That’s what it’s about. You sound like you have a lot of experience under the hood. Bet you’re fool of all kinds of knowledge up stairs in the old noggin. Maybe you should be the one making videos. I’d bet you have a lot you could teach to the rest of us. I’ve been really getting into learning that secondary waveform you were talking about, about the scope guru. I feel like I’ve seen some of his stuff. I’ve drawn out diagrams of the waveform, and have written in all the different scenarios of what it means. It’s all pretty interesting to me. Only, I don’t have the best memory. That’s my biggest problem with diagnostics. I love doing it, only I find myself constantly having to reteach things to myself. My dad has dementia, so who knows, maybe it’s my turn. I love to shoot too. I used to try and hit the range a few times a month. More if a could afford it. Only now, with everything going on in our country, I think it’s best to hold on to my ammo. I wanted to make a channel on everything shooting because I like collecting different arms, but it just seems like there are too many rules for that category, and they change daily. I don’t know what’s “ok” and what’s not. Honestly, that’s why I just typed “arms”, lol. Not funny though. Anyway, that’s cool, you’re right here in the good ol USofA. Nevada huh? You can probably just drive out into the dessert if you wanna do some plinking. No range feels or rules. I’m glad you requested something for me to do in a video. I’m kinda running out of ideas. Not sure what people wanna see. Also what people don’t wanna see. I notice some of the dislikes (thumbs downs) next to some of my videos, but they never tell me why they don’t like it. If they don’t tell me why, I don’t know what to change. With that’s said my last couple batches of videos, I made and edited them through the night,, when I should be sleeping, and I admit, not so great. Only, that’s the the only way I can have time to make them sometimes. Is to just pick a night, and stay up all night. Alright then, this is already pretty long. I’m gonna try and edit the one I just recorded using the amp clamps. Take care of yourself Vash, and as usual, thanks for stopping by the channel and leaving a comment. Always appreciated.
Hello VashthStampeede, been a while. I hope you’re doing well. Hey I had a quick question. Remember you mentioned the scope guru on TH-cam? Do you know the name of the channel?
Thank you Atom. Good job. Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.
Hello Billy, always glad to have you stop by. Also, to you and your family as well, my friend.
Interesting stuff adam, keep it up

What is the scope guru channel I couldn't find it?
Hello VashthStampeede, been a while. I hope you’re doing well. Hey I had a quick question. Remember you mentioned the scope guru on TH-cam? Do you know the name of the channel?
I just asked VashthStampeede the name of the channel. We’ll see what he says
