One reason I love gentlemen's gazette over Kirby Allison. If it's expensive, Kirby thinks it's worth. Ralph actually cares about true quality and durability. Don't ever change that!

When someone is promoting their own product you shouldn't believe every word they say But Gentleman's gazette never promoted some horrible things like a vincero or mvmt watch so I trust them haha hopefully I'll get one of these later
Living in Texas I only get the chance to wear gloves maybe 2 or 3 times a year, but these videos make me want to go glove shopping. Great video as always. :)
I’m a professional driver and I bought the driving gloves. They’re ABSOLUTELY amazing, my hands don’t sweat anymore and I can use my gloves while I do my daily inspections with my tablet. LOVE the quality and craftsmanship, worth, EVERY penny
What is the greatest feeling of all? That is putting smile on another's face.Hello from Moscow Russia.Thank you ,dear Raphael! Yule Blessings and Happy holidays to you and your family. Have yourself a Merry little Christmas.
Here in lisbon there is a really good and classic styled gloves shop and it's a tradition on my family that every Christmas season we buy a new pair for everyone and this video reminded me that we have to go
For anyone who wants to purchase these, the buttons on these gloves were the bane of my existence when I purchased these gloves in peckery grey 4 years ago. It is extremely hard to button and unbutton the button of the hand that goes into the gloves second. So hard that one of the buttons fell not 2 months after I purchased the gloves. That's why these gloves are on a shelf in my closet never being worn (that and them not being that warm, in my opinion, even though they have the cashmere lining). I purchased a Hestra pair for $67 (vs the 285 I paid for these), I wear them now. Just as classy, not from the same amazing materials, but warmer in my opinion, and no annoying buttons.
I looked at the gloves again, and I would like to expand on the warmness part. Yes, the lining is cashmere, but it is not dense at all. Looking at the lining, I can clearly see the leather underneath. A denser weave would have been better.
I have two of your gloves. Honestly just a joy to have gloves without so much excess fabric hanging off the thumbs. The red driving gloves are huge compliment magnets as well 👍
Not only can I not afford these, but I don’t have anything nice enough to pair them with or an even fancy enough to wear them to. Love everything about these regardless. Maybe someday I’ll find an excuse to buy a pair of gloves that will last the rest of my life. Super cool product. 😍
I have Belvedere’s dark green nappa, and brown and blue peccary for about a year. I wear the green one’s quite often, and in spite of sustaining a few wrinkles, they’re still quite stellar. My peccaries I wouldn’t part with on any account! They’re tops.
As a kid, I envied the ladies with their fine gloves but that seemed always "not my world". With 27, I eventually purchased vintage leather gloves off of ebay and it's the best thing ever. Now my mother became a "glove addict" too with like 12 pairs and she always changing them before we leave the home. The long ones? The red ones? I think if you ever wore "your" pair of leather gloves, you never let go.
Given that I actually have weakened muscle tendins in my hands and, therefore, get cold hands easily, quality gloves like these really are a blessing in the modern era. Considering I live in Canada too, I've actually had to sleep with some warm wool gloves on before, so I really do love gloves, ha ha.
This channel may be the only one that can make you enjoy an advertisement! Let me give you my Congratulations for the new gloves and hope you have Great business!
The leather will last that long. The stitching and the lining will likely have to be replaced at some point. Of course, it also depends on how many gloves you have. If you wear just one pair, the lining will wear out more quickly than if you have a rotation of 10 pairs...
@@gentlemansgazette I think your gloves are are truly outstanding and once I'll be able to afford them, I'll buy them. (maybe even a rotation of 10 pairs😉)
Aaa. Fanoušek z ČR republiky. Taky mě láká ty rukavice koupit. Jen je problém ještě to poštovné a placeni daně, jakmile to je z USA :-/. Takže to vyjde ještě třeba o 1000 Kč navíc.
I recently bought a pair of bottle green gloves from you and I really like them. I find the buttoning to be the biggest plus since I've always been frustrated with gloves that don't fit tight around the wrist and almost fall of when using your hands. Unfortunately the review link I received from you didn't work so I couldn't post a review.
Thanks for the purchase and we are glad you like the gloves. Sorry to hear the review link did not work. If you tell me your order number, we happily sent you one that works.
I don't follow your content regularly as I'm well along my own style journey ( I stopped watching shortly after Preston joined the staff ;) ), but you all were fundamental to my understanding of men's style, especially with higher level knowledge. I have three pairs of your gloves: the denim blue nappa ones with periwinkle contrast, the chestnut brown ones with brick contrast, and the bottle green ones. Just a heads up, and it may be something that's been resolved, is that I had to size up for the touchscreen ones because of the different leather treatment that was covered here. Keep up the great work!
Beautifully crafted! These gloves are extremely expensive when converted in my currency, PKR, almost a month's salary. Nonetheless, one day I'll own a couple of pairs, especially the suede ones.
I recently purchased my second pair of Fort Belvedere gloves, now in burgundy with touch screen. These work so well and they look so good! My first pair I purchased a year or two ago, they're in cognac and they developed a beautiful patina! I really wish they also were touchscreen so they would be even more useful. How are you supposed to condition the Nappa and the touchscreen leathers? I've used Saphir products successfully but I haven't used anything on the touchscreen gloves yet as they are new and don't seem to be dry.
"Bear in mind, these are not gloves made for Arctic exhibitions" (20:35) - er, I think you mean Arctic EXPEDITIONS. That said, your collection of gloves is remarkable not only for its quality but for the choice of colours and styles
I know it's a bit unorthodox but I'd love to see options which cover more of the lower arm, either with lined leather or just fabric. I have a skin condition where I get very dry hands in winter if I don't keep them warm, and most of the regular gloves don't cover the hand joint well enough. I's increasingly difficult to find gloves which serve that purpose and look nice at the same time.
I enjoy hearing Sven talk about the topics he's passionate about, I mostly trust his advice, and having followed him for so long, I have no doubt that the products his company puts out are every bit as good as he says they are and worth their price. However, I would prefer this kind of advertising content a.) being clearly labeled as such (yes, I am aware that the title kind of gives it away, but only for those who know that Fort Belvedere his Sven's company) and b.) would not be part of the regular release schedule of this channel (maybe even on a separate channel?). This kind of "self advertisement masked as creative content" has turned me off from most other "Men's lifestyle" content creators and it would be a shame should that happen here. With all that being said, I hope that Fort Belvedere will be every bit of the success you want it to be.

Oh my, that German accent in English and its famous conflation of ending T and D sounds; I thought you were saying Ford Belvedere all this time. I don't say this to be critical, I enjoy studying languages and accents, and the intricacy of it all fascinates me.
Hello Raphael, these gloves are stunningly beautiful an are fine works of art. That being said, I will be in Italy for the next couple of months, specifically Florence. I was wondering if you had a suggestion for the best shop to buy leather gloves that are of a comparable quality to the Fort Belvedere gloves. If I were not going to Italy, I would probably buy leather gloves from Fort Belvedere, but since I will be near the leather capital of the world, I would like to pick up a leather item that will last, be useful, and remind me of my time in Italy. Thank you very much for your help.
I bought a pair of leather touchscreen gloves (not from fort Belvedere) and they started to lose their ability for touchscreens after a week and totally stopped working after a month of use
They all look very nice! Unfortunately it looks you only offer standard glove sizes. I am looking for quit some while now for affordable gloves that fit me. My fingers are quite long and my hands relatively narrow, therfore I never get that elegant look.
