So when you say strips of tape under the spacebar, do you mean on the pcb, or actually tape nodding the spacebar? (I only ask cause I just built me ne65, and would like to test whatever mod you did to the spacebar.
Did you ever run into any issues with case ping on the spacebar? That's the only issues I'm having with my neo atm. Just trying to come up with solutions. Tried tape modding it, foam mod, tried no foams in the board, all foams. The ping never goes away. Tried multiple different switches as well. The ping stays even with lubed black gat ink v2's, an only ever in the spacebar. Even tried different keycaps. Maybe I'm just crazy?@@anuki_too
@@Ace-id9xl interesting. unfortunately i don't have the board anymore, but i didn't notice any case ping in either foam or no foam. are you using the gasket socks, or the gummy o-ring to mount it? if you're using the gasket socks, maybe you forgot to put one in? i know i forgot one at first when i building it. if you're using the big loopy boi, case foam should've solved it but it seems it didn't. what about loose screws anywhere in the build? like loose daughter board, maybe even your bottom weight isn't screwed tight or seated correctly (try taking the whole weight off!)

yeah on the pcb, on the underside; effectively tape mod but only for the spacebar. i like using 2 layers personally, so that's up to you! 🙏
